Demona vs. Sakura Haruno (D): Strikers Showdown

"Oh joy, she is a spunky one. I hate spunk, but I suppose it can't be helped."

Demona let out a sigh, but her enlarged darkness fist balled all the same as Sakura made her declaration known and jumped down rearing back what Demona presumed to be a straight forward power punch. It was interesting to lock fists with a mere human but this one clearly had some enhancements. What they were Demona had no way to know or honestly no interest to find out.

For now, she needed to deal with this human. And if she was intent to settle this was a exchange of fists then so be it.

Demona jumped up herself, aiming to meet the pink haired ninja in the air as she reared her dark fist back and fired at the same moment Sakura had as both fists were set to collide.

Upon contact, the two fists slammed into each other as a massive shockwave shot out.The pressure knocked everything in the immediate area aside; dirt was kicked up, debris knocked aside and some trees began to shake around them as Demona pushed with her dark fist against Sakura's own but both seemed even in this exchange as a violent force would blast with the same pressure against both.

BANG!

The smaller fist and the dark, enlarged one connected, smashing into each other and made something that resembled an explosion, shockwaves shooting off in all directions breaking tree branches and smaller trees. During that moment, Sakura was gritting her teeth and glaring at the nonchalant face of her opponent. It annoyed Sakura a little, but she didn't have much time to reflect on that as they were both pushed back and separated by the force of their blows connecting.

Wasting no time, Sakura would dash right back at her opponent with another punch, but she would not stop there, she would continue throwing punches at the demon in quick succession.

As Demon was shot back and landed on her feet as she dragged herself to a stop, much to her annoyance Sakura was blown back but far from finished as she landed on her feet and charged once more and aimed to fire a multiple punch barrage.

Demon's expression, while still unexpressive, shifted to a slight serious one as she had to take this girl seriously; human or not she was a freak who seemed just as strong as her. So Demona prepared to respond in really the only way the situation could be responded to.

She shrunk the size of her dark fist so it was the same size as her "nomal" one and unleased a wave of punches to meet Sakura's head on in what seemed destined to be a multi-clash barrage for the ages.

Sakura went on the offense and Demone responded in kind, throwing a blurring amount of punches as if they were fired from a machine gun. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRhh!!! Roaring, the ninja met it with a barrage of her own punches. The two powerful women matched each other blow for blow.

Fist hitting against fist, shockwaves were bursting in all directings and each ''fistbump'' gave the sounds similar to a wrecking ball smashing through a wall and was basically loud enough to mute Sakura's roar. There was even a small earthquake around them. A rogue blow every now and then found it's mark on Sakura's body in their skirmish, but the same could be said for her opponent's naked frame. Sakura would wince in pain from time to time, but she would not relent in the skirmish due to her stubborn nature.

This would continue for maybe a minute and if Demona didn't turn the tables during that time, Sakura would attempt a move of her own. Sakura would wait for the right moment before sending a kick at Demona's legs to unbalance her and if that worked, Sakura would follow up by jumping towards and above Demona and smash her into the ground with a punch to the body.
That's assuming everything goes as planned.

As both brawlers taded blows, a majority of them slammed into a fist opposite it which created powerful shockwaves that rocked the immediate area as the exchange went dead even for the entire portion of this; a few blows did manage to sneak hits on Demona which caused slight winces of the usually melancholy demon as she fired off shots at greater speeds.

But it seemed the girl was smart as much as she was a brute, and delivered a kick that caused a groan to escape the demon's lips which paused her blows long enough to allow Sakura to jump up to try and slam her into dust from above.

Demona managed to just avoid the blow as she tapped into her exceptional speed to move away from the point of impact just barley escaping it as she glanced the kunoichi's way with a frown. A mere human having such power was almost unheard of, the only one she could recall was that prideful Sin and with that she had not been swayed he was fully human. But this girl seemed to open that door of their greater potential, not that she'd ever admit to it. Still her face returned to her unexpressive one as her darkness that made up or coated her right leg began to spark with red electricity.

And with a jump, she aimed to deliver a combo spinning kick with equal parts quickness and power to try and send the kunoichi flying back.

Sakura swept the demon off it's feet and then went for the finishing blow, but the latter recognized the danger and cleared out of the way, with Sakura hitting the ground instead. However, since she was halfway at stopping herself, the impact on the ground was much weaker than it could've been. It still sent ripples through the earth, though... Tsch! Sakura snickered at her inability to finish off her opponent.

After Sakura had stopped her momentum, Demona was already at her, kicks flying one after another. Sakura barely avoided the first one by backing away at the last moment. Whoaa! However, this left her unbalanced and she had to either block the next one or take it to the face. Of course, Sakura raised her arms up to protect herself. She protected her face, but her foothold was almost non-existent, so she took off like a rocket, smashing through a couple of trees along the way before imprinting herself back first into the cliffside. Ghuaah! The ninja let out upon contact.

The power of this naked demon lady was something else, Sakura thought. The pinkette had more immediate problems though - She was stuck in the rock in cross formation and couldn't quite pull herself out. Damn it! Sakura grit her teeth. It would take at least a moment or two to build up enough strength to bust herself out of here and during this time, she was vulnerable to her opponent.

Demona watched with that usual bored expression of hers as Sakura was slammed back by her second kick as the kunoichi had been sent flying; crashing through a pair of trees before her body slammed into the cliffside as an outline of her body remained as she had become a literal landmark within.

But amazingly, Sakura was not only alive but looked none the worse for ware, minus the fact she was stuck which caused Demona to frown.

A stubborn one, what a drag...

Demon would focus though, in spite of the lack of visible damage she had gotten Sakura pinned and that was enough to give her a window to strike from. One she would take advantage of as she stepped back a bit to get distance before she began to race forward at high speeds. Building up more and more momentum behind each step before she jumped in the air.

And charged with a flying kick as her aim was to kick the vulnerable Sakura right in the gut before she could free herself.

Ugh! Sakura struggled in the rock to get out and it took more time than she had. The kunoichi managed to gather enough chakra to break out, but Demona was already in sight, flying at her. Demona closed the distance between them in a blink of an eye and her foot buried itself in Sakura's stomach. Ghhuuuaaaaaaaaghck!!! Sakura screamed out in pain. This blow certainly hurt much more than the last one, probably because her stomach got sandwiched very hard between the rock and the foot of the opponent. In her mind, Sakura took note to repay her for that.

While her body stopped Demona's momentum, that wasn't exactly great news for Sakura, because that momentum was handed over to her and the stone could not stop that kind of force. In simple terms, Sakura's body continued smashing and drilling through the hard rock. She groaned and screamed in pain as she went through the entire thing which was maybe 50 meters thick, Sakura wasn't sure.

Eventually, Sakura's body found its way out of the cliff through the other side and fell on the ground where she laid and groaned. That was a good hit Demona landed on her, Sakura had to get back into the game somehow... A long hole connected the two sides of the cliff now and the demon lady was bound to come after her while Sakura just laid there and nursed the pain, or at least thats how it would appear to be when Demona showed up.

In reality, by that time Sakura would've already substituted herself. There would just be a log left, but it would appear as if it's Sakura's body laying there, while her real body was hiding nearby, behind a bush, applying medical jutsu to her hurting stomach. Sakura would grit her teeth and not let out a sound as she would observe through the bushes and see whether Demona would like the surprise Sakura left for her.

The surprise was a paper bomb on the substitution log that would detonate when Demona got close enough to deliver the killing blow. It would have enough force to blow up a building.

As Demona delivered the stiff kick, she was successfully at launching the girl through the rock as her body was dirven from one side to the other which made a nice human shaped hole for her to travel through. Demona hoped this blow would be a death nail for the human, and as she appeared on the other side she saw a downed Sakura on the ground seemingly out of it.

Perhaps Demona could finally be done with this.

However, as she approached her eyes widened. Her sonar sense picked up on a presence away from them and she realized she was had too late for it to matter. As "Sakura" turned into a log with paper bombs. Demon only had time for one jump back and getting her darkness arm to cover her before the area flashed in bright white.

Boom!!!

The explosion blasted at Demona as the shockwave carried her towards the very formation she drove Sakura through as she slammed against it with a vengeance as her body lied slump; the explsion having scarred the immediate area as Demona seemed prone as the blow took a tole but how much remained to be seen.

Sakura waited behind bushes, healing herself and watching as Demona approach the substitution. A grin appeared on Sakura's face when she saw the ruse go POOF and then the paper bombs go BANG. The explosion sent the blonde flying back into the rock, smashing into it. This was Sakura's chance to go in and deal some damage.

Sakura did enough healing on her body and leaped out of the bushes, landing in the area where the bombs went off. From there, Sakura would dash at her opponent to deliver a punch at the center of mass of Demona. The kunoichi knew there was a chance that the punch could be dodged. This demon was as strong as Sakura, after all, so she wouldn't go down as easily as this. So, if the punch was dodged, Sakura would prepare herself for a counter attack afterwards.
