Aftermath of the Bikini Beach Match - A New Friendship Blossoms

At first, Vanessa couldn't help but stare in bewilderment as Hayley broke out in a laughing fit. But within a few seconds, Vanessa was laughing too. It seemed as though both of them were boneheads. The blonde was happy to share this laugh, this time around. She knew now how Hayley worked.

"Well, anyway, thanks for taking care of me, Hen-Hen. I think I'll be alright now. I'm going to go ahead and get dressed now. Could you bring me my clothes? I think they might still be in my locker. Maybe after I get cleared to get out of here, we can go out and get a bite to eat, huh?" The blonde suggested some hangout time as she began to get out of bed. Slowly, she made sure she was stable before firmly planting her feet on the floor. She wanted to see if she could walk a bit to avoid getting stiff.

Hayley was glad to see Vanessa joining with her laughter. She was a little worried she might take it the wrong way again, so when she laughed with her, it was a relief for her.

"Okay... but um... I wanted... I thought... um... maybe... maybe I could help you like you helped me." She offered to her.

Vanessa was genuinely confused by Hayley's offer. She didn't make the correlation that Hayley was referring to, mostly thanks to the laughing taking her mind off the conversation at hand. "Help me like I helped you? What do you mean?"

Didn't she just ask Hayley to help her get her clothes? What other "help" could she possibly be referring to?

"Well... I was thinking maybe you could join me in working out. We can focus on cardio and stuff so you're not out of breath as fast." She said while standing up, about to head over to pick up her clothing.

"And you could show me some other moves you know in return!" She chirps.

After mulling it over for a quick second, Vanessa responded: "Well, I guess I wouldn't be opposed to doing something like that. Once I'm feeling better, we can set up a schedule, how does that sound?"

Despite Vanessa's calm demeanor, she was actually pretty excited to hang out and do stuff with her new friend. The more she hung with Hayley, the more a certain thought clung to her mind: She may have lost her debut match, but she gained something far greater than anything she could have gotten from a win.

That something was a close friend.
