Yuki Kazikura vs. Sunny K [D]

"Oh no it's not!" Yuki shouted back to Sunny. As a matter of fact, the blonde would take note, as she was getting up, that as soon as she had fallen, Yuki had ran back towards the ropes, not letting go of her momentum even now. The suplex might have hit, but Yuki had even bigger things in store, and she was setting those things up right about now.

Coming back to the ropes, Yuki hopped up onto the middle one, and now, in a daring move, she went to go for a hurricanrana just as Sunny was catching her breath, aiming to grab Sunny's head between her thighs and bowl her back down! Performing a move with so much setup involved could prove problematic for her if Sunny decided to take advantage of the time her opponent had inadvertently offered to her - but Yuki was counting on her still recovering from her landing.

Sunny slowly got back to her feet, breathing a bit heavy already. She looked back in front of to see Yuki had disappeared. In a bit of a panic, she looked around, but before she could look behind her a pair of legs draped around her neck and sent her crashing back down.

A cloud of pain had seemed to envelop all of Sunny's body from being tossed around. The debut wasn't going quite as well as she had hoped, and the canvas wasn't as forgiving as she anticipated it being either. She looked desperately up towards her opponent, seeing what was next so that she could better defend against it.

Feeling a heavy impact against the mat, from her own body coming down atop Sunny's as the two of them fell, Yuki let out a groan from the breath leaving her lungs. After such an impact she would need some time to collect herself and prepare for her next move, but in time, she picked herself back up, wiping her brow before turning her gaze back down to her opponent.

Now that she had landed atop the girl, Yuki was in the right position to capitalize with a pin attempt. She knew that it was early into the match, and that making such a move would be risky. But she still couldn't be sure what Sunny was capable of, and this would be the right way to test that of her, she thought to herself. The manner in which she reacted to a prospect like this would inform Yuki about Sunny's skill level, giving the brunette a better idea of what she was dealing with. So she got down on top of Sunny, moving to hook her leg!

Sunny felt like she was glued to the canvas, and could see Yuki was slowly making her way to being on top of her. Instinctively recognizing that she was going for the pin, she waited for the right moment to launch her knees upwards, hoping to catch her opponent in the head before she could get completely set on top of her.

"Ryaaaaa!" she cried out as she made her effort to stun her

It was a cocky move for Yuki to be going for a pin this early in the match, but she didn't know what she could expect to happen. It could go well for her, and it could not, depending on how quick Sunny's reaction time was. Either way, Yuki thought, she would be getting a better sense of who she was up against as a result.

Sunny, however, didn't disappoint in striking right back. Just as Yuki was coming down atop her, before she could even touch down on her shoulders, Sunny shot back out with her knees, slamming them straight into the girl's skull. Thrown off balance by the glancing blow, Yuki went tumbling off of her opponent, her hands reaching up to clutch her head as she let out a pained moan, rolling onto her side.

Seeing that her knee had connected and sent her adversary rolling off into a prone position, Sunny looked to pounce on the advantage. Quickly getting back to her feet, she then reached down to pull Yuki up, hoping to pull her into an Irish Whip. If successful, she would try to catch her slingshotting from the ropes with a clothesline.

Despite her inexperience in the ring, Sunny could still pack a punch - which Yuki had just been made quite aware of. The impact of her knees into her head was still felt as a throbbing sensation in her temples as the brunette desperately tried to rub away the pain. Yuki started to roll back up onto her knees, getting in position for her next move, but Sunny was too quick for her, and she would find herself dragged to her feet before she was ready.

Yuki also wasn't ready to be ran headlong into the ropes, but so too would such a fate befall her as Sunny whipped her across the ring. She went straight into the opposite side of the ring at full speed, unable to catch herself before the rebound carried her forward - and straight into Sunny's clothesline, which landed right on her chest. With a crack and a groan, Yuki went toppling over, falling down once again - this time, sprawled out on her back.

Sunny's arm would make a hard impact with Yuki's chest, sending her down to the mat. Hoping to make a moment out of this opportunity, the blonde climbed up the rope at the nearby corner. Atop the turnbuckle, she waved her arms to the crowd.

"Woooo! Everybody!!"

If Yuki still remained down, she would then look to leap towards her with a wild splash.

Landing on the mat, Yuki was still pained from the blow she had taken. Even now, as she started to blink back to awareness, and slowly picked herself up from the ground, she could feel it. At the same time, though, she could now see what Sunny was doing now, as she looked up to see the girl standing at the turnbuckle, getting the crowd to cheer her on in preparation for the next move. The crowd did return her gesture - but Yuki saw something else in it.

It seemed as though Sunny was making a mistake that Yuki herself had been through in her past - in times even as recent as some of her training sessions at the LAW gym. She was taking the time to play to the crowd and build up their momentum. And while this certainly caught their attention and rallied the energy behind her moves, making them all the more satisfying to land, it also gave the opponent time to counter them. Yuki had had to figure out how to best make her moves at the right time so as not to give the opportunity away to her opponents, but it seemed that Sunny hadn't yet learned such a lesson.

If that was the case, though, Yuki hoped this would stand as an experience to prove it to her - as while Sunny was coming down with a splash, Yuki went to roll away at the last minute, so that the blonde would only hit the mat!

Seeing her opponent still lying prone on the mat, Sunny began bending her knees to leap forward from atop the ropes. She could hear the crowd cheering behind her, drawing a confident grin. Soaking in the atmosphere, she could already imagine herself pulling off a highlight reel splash and being the talk of town.

"Showtime!"

She shot into the air, seeing herself to land perfectly upon a groggy Yuki. Right at the last blink, however, Yuki rolled away - to the sudden dismay of Sunny - sending her crashing to the canvas.

With the air knocked out of her, all she could do is pound the mat with her fist in disappointment while still laying face-first.
