Shaina Nakoto [D] vs. Chelsea Forster

With Shaina looking to be taking her time, Chelsea had the opportunity to keep her eyes on her opponent, watching her to try and figure out what she'd do next. Despite her scrappiness and belligerent attitude, Chelsea wasn't stupid; she knew well that an opponent one wasn't familiar with could be dangerous - even if, thus far, Shaina had been establishing herself quite clearly to be someone she could handle.

The plan had been all worked out in Chelsea's head; if Shaina came for her, she'd spring off the ropes to catapult herself in closer and lay into her with even more force than she could summon on her own. What threw a wrench into this was that Shaina, as it turned out, didn't come to her. She had just remained in place by the ropes, waiting for Chelsea to make her move first before she tested her luck. The blonde grumbled a little with disappointment as she set her leg back down on the mat, but if that's what Shaina wanted, she'd give it to her nonetheless. One way or another, Chelsea was going to dish out some hurt.

"Arrite, we'll have it yer way den!" she called out, pointing a finger in Shaina's direction to make sure she would understand her intent even if she didn't understand the words. She would then charge straight for her, at the last moment going to kick off the ground to fling herself towards her foe with her leg outstretched in a flying kick.

Her patience paid off. She was able to outlast her opponent in the waiting game, and was now being charged at. Most would look at this situation and say "how is any of this a good thing?" But Shaina understood what needed to be done. She may not have been the most experienced, nor the most level headed wrestler around, but this wasn't the first time she had stepped inside a ring. She knew that wrestling was more than brute strength: it contained a mental element as well. If one couldn't think on her feet, if one could not outsmart her opponent, then that person has already lost half the match.

And that was what Shaina decided to do. As Chelsea charged at her with high speeds, Shaina immediately saw a weakness. Chelsea... was slower than her. Shaina had only one strength in the ring, and that was her speed. Very few could keep up with her, and Chelsea was no different in this case. It took some extra energy since Shaina was still hurting pretty badly, but she was able to move her body enough to react.

At the last possible moment, Shaina would duck under the flying high kick and slip around her opponent. Her opponent my crash into the turnbuckle, she may be able to stop herself, or something else may happen. Either way, assuming Shaina is successfully able to duck and get behind Chelsea, she will attempt to send a flying drop kick of her own into Chelsea. The hope here is to hit Chelsea with that kick and send her smacking into the turnbuckle even harder than she may have before.

Based on what she had seen from Shaina so far, Chelsea was sure that she had her next attack lined up perfectly, with no chance of facing any opposition. Already she had a smirk on her face, sure that she would be landing a solid blow to her opponent and leave her reeling. After all, she'd spent practically this entire match paralyzed with fear; how could she possibly get away from this one?

But at the last second, it turned out - that was exactly what Shaina did. Surprising Chelsea with her agility, the brunette ducked out of the way at the last minute, leaving the Englishwoman only aware of her mistake until she was already airborne, and flying straight towards the turnbuckle. Her eyes went wide in the split second before the impact, landing with a loud thud that send her collapsing to a seated position in front of the post, stunned.

Chelsea's head was spinning, and she groaned low and ragged under her breath, but her pain was far from over. Before she could so much as get back up, Shaina had already popped back up behind her, delivering a kick to Chelsea's back that felt like the strike of the hammer. With a yelp, Chelsea was sent forward, slamming her face-first into the turnbuckle!

Shaina finally started gaining momentum. The crowd had been the biggest factor in her nervousness, with the match anticipation coming in a close second. However, now that she was in the ring and in the match, she was able to take her mind off of those things and start focusing on the match itself. Of course, not all of it was completely gone, but she was no longer completely paralyzed in fear.

With her adrenaline beginning to start pumping, she would make sure Chelsea was flat on her back (if she wasn't already) before jumping over her and onto the ropes in the corner. Checking behind her for where Chelsea was, Shaina would slingshot herself up towards the top rope and bounce off of it with both legs outwards.

She would then fall towards Chelsea in attempted split-leg moonsault! Should she hit it, she will quickly drag Chelsea away from the ropes before hooking her leg and going for the pin.

Chelsea had underestimated just what Shaina would be capable of, and in her arrogance she had paid the price. Now her head, her chest, and really the entire front of her body was aching, as she found herself paralyzed from the pain of charging straight into the ring post. She coughed, wincing as she grumbled a few words to herself. "Goddammit..."

Sinking back from the turnbuckle she had inadvertently planted her face into, Chelsea slumped down, falling over onto her back with a groan. Which in turn lined her up perfectly for what Shaina had up her sleeve to do, as the smaller girl leaped over her to the ropes, only to hurl herself back at Chelsea with a moonsault! The blonde's eyes went wide; she hadn't expected this level of athleticism coming from someone as inexperienced as Shaina was. She would dare say, this was a move that wouldn't be at all out of place if she was doing it herself. She braced for impact, digging her nails into her palms, but the full weight of Shaina coming down on top of her - as light as she may have been - was enough to stun her. With that, she was open to being pinned.

"One!" the ref counted, Shaina having snagged the first count of the match. Chelsea groaned, looking around her; she was still too sore from the punishment she'd taken to kick out of this, and Shaina had pulled her far enough from the ropes to make a rope break unlikely.

"Two!"

On her own, that was - as Molly had a plan. While the ref girl's attention was focused on the pin, she ducked in under the ropes just enough to grab hold of her sister's ankle and pull her ever so closely to the ropes. Chelsea looked over at her and gave a wink of thanks, before she stuck her foot out enough to get it on the ropes. With that, the younger of the Bunnies ducked out of the ring - just in time for the ref to look back up and see where Chelsea's foot now lay.

"Stop! Rope break!" she called out, drawing a grin from Chelsea. She'd been rescued at the last moment, thanks to her manager's ingenuity. She'd have to thank her for that later - as annoying as Molly could be, the girl had a good head on her shoulders where it counted.

Shaina hit her split leg moonsault to perfection, and even she could tell that the damage she dealt was great. She had made sure Chelsea was far enough from the ropes that she couldn't break up the count when she went for the pin. Everything seemed to check out. She covered Chelsea and waited for the three-count.

The first two went by without a hitch. She felt Chelsea move a bit, but her shoulders were still down on the canvas, so no problem. Then suddenly, the ref called for a rope break. What? How can that be? Shaina looked over and saw that Chelsea's foot was, in fact, on the ropes. There was also a small flit of blonde hair that disappeared around the corner as well. It didn't take long for Shaina to put two and two together and figure out how Chelsea got her foot on the ropes despite being so far away.

Shaina let go of Chelsea's leg as she got off of her. She turned to the ref to let her know what happened: "That was an i-i-interference, ref! She should be disqualified! H-h-how else can you explain how she made it to the ropes after b-b-being so far away? You saw her move as if she was being dragged, didn't you?"

The ref, more than likely, would give her the usual BS answer that she was just doing her job and didn't see anything. After about ten seconds of back and forth, she realized the ref wouldn't change the call, and so she would turn her attention back to Chelsea.

The ref might not have seen it, and Shaina had only noticed the disturbance at the last minute, but the audience had seen everything - and now they were making their feelings abundantly clear, showering the two foreigners with boos. Shaina may have looked outmatched at first, with her nervous attitude and lack of apparent experience, but that had been exactly what had endeared her to the fans. She was the underdog, faced with an opponent out of her league, who had showed no mercy against her - and she had fought back valiantly, and almost scored the win! But now, it had been taken from her, all thanks to unscrupulous tactics.

Chelsea also rolled to her feet, watching as the ref argued with Shaina over the ruling. She offered her own thoughts - consisting mainly of inarticulate shouting in English, and as such the referee didn't exactly understand her, but it was enough to distract her from Shaina's side of events. "Oh what," she sneered, "you're gonna lis'n ta some scallie who probably lied 'bout 'er age ta get in 'ere, like? She doesn't kun wa' she means, swear it on me nan's grave. Now jus' get back to 'de match already, I'm not boxed off, like!"

Her attention split between two equally vocal protests, one of which was considerably louder if not as intelligible, the referee could hardly keep up with the conversation, and was thus forced to give a noncommittal shrug along with the expected excuse. Seeing things had played to her favor, Chelsea smirked confidently to herself, just as Shaina had turned back to face her. Turned back to face her, as it were, just as Chelsea had drawn back a fist to let it fly straight for her face.

The ref had a headache. She wasn't getting paid enough to deal with this crap match after match. Why did this whole thing have to be such a fiasco anyway? Can't these girls just get along long enough to fight each other normally? She completely missed the irony of that thought. After the situation involving her had defused she breathed a small sigh of relief.

The same could not be said for Shaina, who turned around to get a face full of Chelsea's fist. "OUF!" she gasped as she stumbled backwards from the blow. She moved her hands to her face, half nursing it in pain, half protecting it from future attacks. For the moment, she was stunned once again.

That's what you get for not paying attention to the match... said the voice inside her head.

Now the tables had turned back in Chelsea's favor, as her fist swung forward to make its impact against Shaina's face. She had caught her opponent off guard, just as her attention had turned away from the match at hand, and now it was her turn to be stunned. Chelsea smirked, winking teasingly at Shaina as she stepped back with a mocking chuckle. "Jus' too easy-peasy, like," she said.

Now with Shaina stunned, it was Chelsea's turn to take advantage of her opponent's state. She may have been protecting her face, but that wasn't quite what Chelsea had in mind - and with Shaina's face covered, she would have no defense against body blows, nor would she see the Scouser coming. What Chelsea did want to do wouldn't be ready quite yet, and she needed Shaina softened up enough to get it off without incident, but she'd have no problems doing that.

Closing in on Shaina, Chelsea slung one arm between her legs to hoist her up over her back, before tossing her back down with a scoop slam. Hopefully, she thought, the landing would leave her winded.

That punch left a ringing in Shaina's ear. She covered her face to block from any other facial attacks, which, of course, left her open to any other attack. She continued to play face protector for a few seconds, which would give Chelsea plenty of time to execute her first move. Shaina would feel Chelsea scoop her up from below and hoist her into the air. She would then be planted back down to the mat, back first.

"Ack!" she cried, moving her hand to her back and uncovering her face. She wished she had more than two hands right now, so that she could block so many more attacks than what her small measly hands could not.

Alas, she did not, and as a result, she was now face up on the canvas, desperately hoping that Chelsea would let her recover, which was a foolish thought in it of itself.
