Cali vs Dana Ashford

[Faeron]

Cali was expecting to hit a large woman with her shoulder. Instead, Cali crashed against into the turnbuckle, both a part of her head and her right shoulder impacting the rather thin padding. Half of Cali's body was dangling off the second rope, arms falling limp as she dazed and confused from the failed tackle.

There was a shift in the crowd as they now could tell that the momentum that Cali had gained had quickly shifted to Dana.

Dana managed to get out of Cali's way, having her crash into the turnbuckle. Smirking as she rubbed her face a bit to soothe the pain, Dana would step in front of Cali, who was dangling at the second rope before she pulled her in, having her pressed against the corner. A serene smile could be seen on the Smiling Demon's face as she prepared herself to attack her younger opponent.

"Aren't you a cheeky one?" Dana asked, chuckling before she attempted to smash her forearm against the chest of the younger woman, looking to have her reeling and winded from the strike.

[Faeron]

Cali blinked in an effort to remove the fogginess in her eyes before feeling the brunt force of Dana's forearm hit her chest.

"Oof!" The wind was forced out of Cali, still standing, but she had sunk just a bit into the corner. Cali pushed away the strands of raven hair that blocked her vision, trying to use the ropes to keep her steady as she braced herself to the next hit.

Smashing her forearm right across Cali's chest, Dana could tell that she had gained an upper hand over the rookie. As Cali was still at the corner, Dana decided to press on, keeping up with her momentum by grabbing onto her shoulders, making sure that her opponent wouldn't be able to escape so that she could nail multiple knee strikes right into her abs, hoping to knock some wind out of her lungs.

Dana had some nefarious ideas in store for Cali later, but for the time being, she would focus on leaving her opponent reeling and having difficulty to breathe before she could carry out whatever she had been planning for her.

[Faeron]

Cali felt Dana's hands grip her shoulders before she felt a sharp pain come from her abdomen as Dana slammed her knee into her gut. Multiple shots to her stomach pushed each bit of her out of her body, her grunts becoming more breathless with each hit. Once Dana was finished, Cali fell onto her knees by Dana's feet-- holding her stomach as she struggled to recover her breath. Cali's lungs burned from the lack of oxygen.

Driving her knee into Cali's belly several times, Dana smiled as her opponent dropped onto her knees by her feet. Seeing how vulnerable her opponent was at the moment, Dana would then proceed to bend down, grabbing Cali by her head to pull her back up and yank her away from the corner, dragging her towards the center of the ring in preparation for her next move.

Once the two of them were in the middle of the ring, Dana would slip one of her arms between Cali's legs as her other arm would go to her shoulder so that she could try scooping her up, turning around before slamming her down into the mat, back first, with a scoop slam. This would surely leave her winded and disoriented, helpless before the seasoned veteran.

[Faeron]

Cali was dazed, drawing to swallow large gulps of air that she lost during the assault to her abdomen. She winced as her long hair was used to drag her to the center of the ring, Dana was in clear control as Cali was having trouble recovering. Dana scooped Cali up and slammed her onto the center of the ring, Cali arching her back from the pain. The rookie rolled onto her stomach as she tried to get back on her own two feet.

Dana smiled as she saw Cali rolling herself over onto her stomach, though her smile faltered a little when she saw her trying to get back up. Not wanting to give her any chance to recover, Dana would then put herself onto Cali's back, mounting her. Then, she would grab onto both of her arms before draping them over her knees.

And right after that, she would clasp her hands together under Cali's chin, subjecting her to a camel clutch. She would yank her head back while bending her spine, looking to torture her in this submission hold.

Cali's fingers to barely gripped Dana's knee pads before the larger woman sat down hard on the rookie's back. She suddenly felt herself get locked into the camel clutch and the hold was excruciating. Cali cried out in pain as Dana wrenched hard on her back and neck. The cheers of the crowd however brought Cali back to focus, clenching her fist as she drew power from the crowd and looked to break out of the hold. The rookie started shifted her body underneath Dana, trying to find an opportunity to get herself to a knee and power her way out of the hold.

Dana would make sure to apply pressure in the camel clutch, looking to weaken Cali, though the younger woman seemed to be quite lively, which meant she wouldn't be submitting to her for the time being. As Cali started shifting her position under her, Dana decided to relinquish the hold after a while, freeing the rookie from the hold.

Getting up, she would once again grab Cali by her head, pulling her back up onto her feet in preparation for her next move. Once she got her standing, Dana would turn Cali around, making her face her so that she could try landing a forearm smash right at her upper chest.
