Lauren Frederick's vs. Gemma Faraday

Lauren felt Gemma grab her and before she knew what was happening Lauren was flipping over landing hard on the mat! "Oomph!" She groaned, hearing the referee starting a pin count as she weakly flailed about! Right at the two count Lauren thrust her body out, powering her way out of the pin! Still, thirty seconds after the bell Gemma had already gotten a two count on her and Lauren was still hurting, doing all she could to simply stagger up to her feet as she hobbled about limp legged, doing her best to collect herself after being flipped over.

"W-wait until i get my hands on you...." Lauren said, her hand on her forehead as she shook her head.

Gemma didn’t expect a victory off the sunset flip, but was pleasantly surprised by the two-count. Of course, she figured, Lauren could have been conserving strength by not scrambling to break the pin … Either way, the move hopefully sent the message that Gemma hoped it would to fluster the blonde and impress the fans. Now, Lauren was rolling to her feet, smarting, threatening her, and presenting a possible opening!

Getting to her boots was easier for Gemma, not being rocked on her head. “Catch as catch can, luv! You’re not gonna find it so easy!” With that, Gemma hopped up, the punky high-flyer tucking her legs in against her body, balling herself up tight, before exploding outward and thrusting her toned legs forward in perfect unison. Gemma was looking to connect to the smarting blonde with an explosive standing dropkick!

Lauren saw Gemma coming but again the small woman moved so fast that she wasn't able to respond! She took the dropkick right in the chest, groaning as the wind was knocked out of her! Lauren fell back, landing on her back and kicking the mat in pain as she rubbed her chest! Lauren rolled to her side, trying again to rise to her feet after being taken down hard by Gemma! This was not the start to the match that Lauren had imagined, and she knew she had to start rolling otherwise Gemma was going to run circles around her.

The crowd let out a cheer as Gemma’s boots rocked Lauren’s body back the mat. Gemma fell to the canvas on her side, rolling to distribute the impact. The experienced high-flyer was feeling it now, heart pounding and blood pumping. Gemma had the edge on a larger opponent, she knew how hard it would be to keep that momentum rolling.

Getting back up to her feet, the punky British Bombshell sized up Lauren, who was struggling to get up to her feet. Seeing this, Gemma decided she had to head her off at the pass. Bracing her boots, Gemma tensed up her highs, then shuffle-stepped toward Lauren- right before her right leg exploded with a thrust kick, aimed square at Lauren’s blonde head!

This was spiraling out of control fast and as Gemma shuffled at Lauren she knew she had to do something! Lauren saw the kick coming so she stepped back and reached out to grab Gemma's leg! "Not so fast...." Lauren said as she kept hold of the leg, trying to roll to her side and whip Gemma to the mat with a dragon screw throw! She had to halt Gemma's momentum somehow and she hoped that this counter would be a good start to that!

Gemma felt good, like she had some momentum rolling in this solo match. Now she just needed to connect with this thrust kick, and Lauren would be like putty in her hands. Unfortunately for the punky Bombshell, Lauren wasn’t quite as helpless as Gemma had believed.

Gemma’s eyes widened in shock as Lauren caught her kick, taking her leg firmly in hand. Gemma’s mouth formed a perfect red ‘o’ as she stared in wide-eyed fear, pigtails whipping from side to side as she wordlessly begged Lauren not to do the clearly intended counter.

“AAAH!” Gemma screamed, as Lauren dropped and twisted her leg with a punishing dragon screw! Gemma went down hard, spinning until she hit the mat. Groaning in pain, Gemma clasped both hands over her leg, her knee throbbing as she curled up into the fetal position on the mat!

Gemma was down, and Lauren had an idea to use her girth to keep her there! Lauren rumbled over to Gemma, leaping up and aiming a big splash right at her! If she managed to land her soft body atop Gemma she planned on staying put, going right into a pin! She knew Gemma who would kick out but it had to exhaust her to try to get out from under a lady Lauren's size!

Downed, Gemma felt small and helpless while Lauren loomed over her. Wincing in misery, Gemma could only brace for impact as Lauren came down hard on top of her!

“OOOOFF!” Gemma grunted, the wind getting knocked from her body as the big blonde smothered her. The ref came down for to count a pinfall quickly, Lauren having Gemma covered.

“ONE!” the ref counted, with the curvy blonde on top. “TWO!” Gemma took a deep breath at the first count, trying to gather strength. Scrambling out of the pin would be a sucker’s bet, though a tempting one with a heavier woman on top of her. Instead, Gemma would hedge her bets, and rely on experience. The second count came down, and some in the crowd caught their breath in anticipation of an upset. Finally, as the ref’s hand came up again, Gemma exploded from her waist, twisting her hip and throwing one hand into the air to break the count. It was quite the effort, but even as she lay there on her side, Gemma hoped she’d paced herself well in the process.

Lauren felt Gemma theuat her way out of the pin, rolling off and slapping the mat in frustration as she rose back up to her feet.

The bigger lady tried to get over to Gemma before she could rise up on her own, trying to help her up by yanking her up by the arm. Lauren took a deep breath as she tried to scoop Gemma up aiming herself towards the corner. Lauren wanted to slam Gemma down back for at into the corner as hard as she could provided Gemma didn't have a trick up her sleeve!

Getting up to her side, Gemma’s body heaved as she fought for breath. Her knee was still killing her, and she began to worry about how that would affect her high-flying style as the match went on. Still, she could hear that she’d frustrated Lauren, so perhaps that would bode well …

Gemma wouldn’t get much time to think about it, however, as the blonde hoisted her up by her arm, and whipped her into the corner! Gemma stumbled along, things happening too quickly to react, right up until her back slammed into the turnbuckle. Gemma cried out in pain, spine arching in agony. Quickly, though, the punky Bombshell gripped the top ropes with both hands, pushing past the pain to brace herself for whatever Lauren would throw her way next!
