While Mae might be a little bit of a airhead and wasn't academically gifted, she certainly wasn't stupid. After taking down Vanessa, she heard her words which were meant to be discouraging. Rather than feeling demoralized, the American patriot just smiled because she had another plan in store for her arrogant opponent. Still keeping Vanessa's head locked, she would try to carry out her next plan.

"No," Mae said simply before she attempted to roll Vanessa over onto her belly while still keeping her arm wrapped around her head. Then, she would maneuver herself on top of her, looking to trap her nearest arm between her legs. And with her attempt to roll her over, she would be able to stop Vanessa's attempt to pry her arm off of her head. "This is my plan."

If successful, Mae would wrench on Vanessa's head as hard as she could while scissoring her arm, subjecting her to a crossface.

Vanessa grit her teeth as Mae seemed to not fall for her rather mean words. She noted that for the future, but she knew this girl was planning to do something else. She quickly considered the options when she was rolled over onto her stomach. And when Madison went atop her, Price figured it out. She had been a submission specialist and specifically trained for it. She wasn't about to let Mae get a submission applied on her so easily. Immediately, Price tucked her arm under her body as tried to pull on her arm to scissor it. Without that, her cross face wouldn't be nearly as painful. Still, it didn't feel good.

The arrogant girl groaned and then started to slide and swivel her body away, doing her best to scuttle away as much as Mae's grip would let her. Without her arm locked, she had a lot more freedom to get away, but her intent was to get the bottom rope. Being aware of her surroundings, she continued to move until she was able to get her foot hooked just over the nearest bottom rope. Immediately after doing so, Vanessa ended up shouting in a much more authoritative manner, "Rope break! Release the hold!" The manner in which she said it made it seem like she was perhaps the referee here, but it was mostly out of a snide annoyance at being in this position in the first place.

Mae failed to secure Vanessa's arm to complete the crossface, though she still got her arms wrapped around her head, which would surely make it uncomfortable for Vanessa. While the hold wasn't complete, Mae would try to make use of it, pulling her opponent's head as hard as she could. But with Vanessa's arms still free, she managed to bring herself closer to the ropes before securing a rope break for herself, which forced the American patriot to release her from the hold.

Releasing Vanessa from the crossface, Mae would then rise back up on her feet, watching her opponent who was presumably going to regain her footing as well. But, she would not stay idle by merely watching her, so she would turn around and run towards the opposite ropes, rebounding from them so that she could return back to Vanessa, planning to nail a knee strike to her head as soon as she was on her way back up on her feet, hoping to disorient her with the brutal strike.

With an irritated expression, Vanessa waited for Mae Madison to release her before immediately latching onto the bottom rope with her hand and then pulling her body beside it. She then shouted at her opponent, "Back off!" She didn't seem to realize her opponent was already doing just that, getting ready to mount a new assault. Price got to her knees and then brushed off her outfit, adjusted her tie, and had a bothered look on her face before she started back to her feet, patting herself off. And then she turned to face her patriotic opponent who leaped in the air and nailed her in the head with a knee!

Vanessa I. Price immediately toppled back through the top and middle ropes, but somehow Vanessa had the wherewithal to grab a hold of the top rope before falling to the outside, forcing her to land on her side on the apron! She started cussing underneath her breath, holding her head with a hand as she laid on her side, facing away from her opponent on the apron. She was beginning to utterly hate this little girl.

Nailing Vanessa's head with her knee strike, Mae landed on her feet, watching her opponent toppling back through the ropes. Sadly, she managed to catch herself before she could fall out of the ring. Seeing Vanessa landing on the apron, facing away from her, Mae saw another opportunity, and she would run back towards the opposite ropes, looking to rebound from them and returning back to Vanessa.

Once she got closer, she would get down, sliding on the mat as she would perform a baseball slide right into the body of Vanessa, hoping that the strike would send her tumbling out of the ring and off of the apron, falling onto the floor outside the ring.

Vanessa was still laying on the apron, figuring she may be safe. As much specialized training she had with the greatest trainers money could buy, it still didn't teach her as much as being in the ring would do. Especially for a situation like this where it would be far more obvious that you can't just lay on the apron and expect nothing bad to happen. By the time VIP came to this realization, she felt two boots in her back sending her careening off of the apron and to the outside of the ring as she landed hard and rolled a couple times.

"Gah... Damnit!" yelled the usually more calm and collected girl, becoming more angry by the second and much more frustrated. She hadn't much of a clue what to do in this situation, despite having all the tools to succeed. She would decide laying there wouldn't help much and slowly started to her feet in order to get back in the ring and fight.

Mae successfully landed the baseball slide, sending Vanessa out of the ring. Getting herself back on her feet, she raised both her arms in triumph, and the crowd gave her a massive pop. Despite her being a foreigner who wore the flag of her own country, she had endeared herself to the mostly-Japanese crowd due to her own pluckiness and fighting spirit, which was almost the same like Japanese fighting spirit (though she would call it the spirit of the American Dream).

"Alright!!!" Mae yelled, getting more cheers from the crowd before she turned her attention on Vanessa outside the ring. Seeing her opponent lying outside, an idea came into the American's mind as she would hold onto the top rope, preparing herself for her next move before she hauled herself up, planning to jump over the top rope before leaping off of the apron, looking to land a double foot stomp right into the body of her opponent outside the ring.

Vanessa was still feeling the effects of Mae's attacks and was slowly crawling towards the ring. She heard the plucky girl cheer and scowled. She must be coming for her again. Then, she looked up from her hands and knees and saw briefly the glimpse of Madison leaping off the apron, and the next thing VIP knew, she was crushed in the back with a double foot stomp!

The wealthy performer's body immediately smacked back down to the hard outside and she let out a loud yell of pain. She then, rolled over onto her side to face the ring and grabbed the apron skirt, letting out a loan of pain. On her side was the least amount of pain due to her chest and back feeling in agony. And all Vanessa could think of besides the pain was how much she loathed her opponent in this match.

Once again, Mae was successful in delivering her attack, bringing both her feet into the back of Vanessa with a double foot stomp. Stepping off of Vanessa, the American took a look at her opponent who had taken some damage from the stomp before she decided to bring the match back into the match by grabbing her by her head, pulling her up so that she could push her back into the ring so that she could continue the match within the bounds of the ring.

And after pushing Vanessa back into the ring, Mae would climb up the apron, reentering the match as she planned to continue her momentum. So far, things were going well for the Star-Spangled Grappler, and she aimed to keep it up in order to achieve victory.

VIP was still in pain from the relentless assault from her opponent. She grabbed a hold of the apron skirt in vain, but Mae was already on her and pulling her up to her feet and then rolling her in the ring. Vanessa was wide-eyed in disbelief. She didn't understand how Mae could have had such success against her. She had put so much time and effort with the best of the best! She rarely ever lost at anything! She had stupidly let her go when she had her in her hold, and now she regretted every moment of it, with her body extremely sore now. But she could come back. She could get the advantage again. All that Price had to do was just try another strategy, and she was very good at that.

So Vanessa, while Mae was making her way into the ring, decided she would start rolling towards the nearest corner. She would lay there in wait, simply allowing that disgustingly patriotic opponent of hers to come and grab her. And when Mae Madison would start to grab her to pick her up for even more punishment, VIP would attempt to grab Mae by the straps of her top and then drop all of her weight back with the intent of smacking Mae's head against the middle or bottom turnbuckle pad. It wouldn't be a very fair move, but then Vanessa was never much interested in any stupid rules.
