Dana Ashford vs. Alaina Sanders-Haines - Blood Feud

Still winded from hitting the mat earlier, Dana was unable to defend or attack Alaina at the moment, but as she saw Alaina coming towards her with her arm extended out for a lariat, she knew that she could avoid being taken down without resorting to defending herself. Smiling, Dana would duck under the extended arm, avoiding the lariat before stepping away, running towards the ropes and rebounding from them, returning back to Alaina.

She would return to the Amazon, looking to nail her with a lariat of her own, hoping to take her down into the mat with her attack. Hopefully, the rebound would add more momentum to her attack, which she was certain would be enough to take her rival down.

Alaina missed as Dana ducked low and cursed her luck as she bounced off the ropes, running back at Dana. the amazon ran right into a lariat planned out by her foe, hitting the mat in a heap! "AAARRRGGHHHH!" The amazon was down again at Dana's feet, clearly starting off behind as Dana controlled the match early! Alaina kicked the mat and writhed in pain after the force of the lariat took its tool leaving Alaina in a lot of pain on the canvas!

Successfully taking Alaina down with her lariat, Dana decided to capitalize on her rival being down by running past her, going to the ropes to rebound from them. Then, she would return back to where the Amazon was, planning to jump up once she got closer so that she could land a butt drop right into the belly of her opponent, looking to knock some air out of her lungs.

And right after that, she would reach out for one of Alaina's legs, going for a pinfall attempt.

"Oooooomph!"

Alaina's legs kicked up and flopped down after being flattened to the mat again as Dana went to go for a pin! The one count came but right before two Alaina bucked her hips up and thrust a shoulder up to kick out as forcefully as she could! "Nice try.... not gonna happen today though!" Alaina said as she kicked out, trying to make it back up to her feet as quickly as she could, eager to take the fight to Dana in this match!

The referee counted up to one before Alaina kicked out of the pinfall attempt. Dana was then pushed off of the Amazon, and she ended up sitting on the mat. Chuckling, Dana would then rise back up onto her feet alongside Alaina, looking to bring more fight to her rival.

"You better get used to the unexpected, Ally~" Dana said in a rather cryptic manner as she would hold out her hands, offering a contest of strength with the Amazon. She planned that when Alaina brought her hands to hers, she would suddenly deliver a kick into her belly, looking to leave her winded and exposed to a follow up attack.

Alaina saw Dana holding her hands out and Alaina knew she could overpower Dana. The amazon lunged in trying to grab Dan's hands but Alaina was also going for some offense here! The amazon tried to pull Dana in towards her while ramming her knee into Dana's abdomen! It was a good plan but Dana had one of her own and only time would tell if Alaina managed to strike Dana first or if Dana would land a quick kick to stun the amazon yet again!

Bringing her hands to offer a contest of strength to Alaina, Dana planned to catch her off-guard by kicking her at her gut, but then, she saw her opponent bringing up her knee to strike her at her belly. Thankfully, considering that a kick with her foot gave her a bigger reach, she would bring up her foot to kick into Alaina's belly while narrowly avoiding the knee strike. Right after that, she would try to deal another attack by swinging her forearm right into the side of the Amazon's face, hoping to deal some more damage on her.

Alaina's bad start seemed to be snowballing as the toe kick struck hard leaving her wide open for the follow up! Alaina's head snapped back as she hobbled backward a few steps, reeling for a moment before her stubborn pride managed to keep her from falling down to the mat again. Alaina let out a howl of anguish and frustration as she lunged back towards Dana, looking to smash into her chest as hard as she could with a big forearm strike!

Dana had to admire the tenacity of the Amazon as she refused to fall despite taking such damages that could bring down any lesser women for good. As Dana tried to regain her footing after dealing another blow at Alaina, she saw her opponent charging towards her before she took a forearm smash right into her chest.

"URKHHH!!" The sheer impact from the blow managed to take Dana down, and she cradled her aching chest, trying to fight off the pain as she hoped to recover instantly from the blow. But at the moment, she didn't seem have much going on to protect herself from Alaina's next attack.

Dana went down and Alaina immediately ran back towards the ropes! The amazon bounced off and rocketed back at a kneeling Dana, trying to kick her feet out to connect a low running dropkick to Dana's jaw! Alaina knew it would put the big woman in a daze and give her the opening she needed to get back in the fight! However, if Dana moved or this somehow backfired Alaina herself would be the one in a bad position, set up for a world of hurt! It was a gamble she was willing to take at this point as she knew being idle would only lead to a sure loss at the hands of Dana. Alaina was going to be more aggressive and impose herself, trying to control the tempo of the match.
