Marzia Servelli vs. Breanna Laney [D]

Marzia thought that this would be a risky maneuver, but it ended up playing in her favor, more so than she might've feared at first. Though she kicked blindly behind her, it still hit where she had hoped, and Breanna was stunned for long enough for Marzia to get her hold in. At first, the Italian girl pressed down harder, concentrating hard on her hold. She had secured the upper hand, and she was going to try and take advantage of it for as long as she could.

But Breanna still managed to talk back to her, even despite the hold Marzia had around her waist. The Italian blinked, and her words took her down from the rush of excitement she got in securing the hold, even starting to ease up on her grip somewhat. Just what was Breanna talking about, she wondered? "H-Huh..? Forgotten what..?" she said, looking back at Breanna. All the same, she would try and keep her hold secured, though in her distracted state of mind, Breanna would find it easier to try and free herself.

“Honey, I’m a lot more experienced than you are. Wrestling isn’t my first rodeo.” Breanna stated as she managed to break the hold and scatter away from Marzia. Using the ropes to help her up, she looked down Marzia as she waited for the Italian girl’s next move.

Breanna charges for Marzia hoping to catch a knee in her gut followed by a Snap DDT.

Marzia gulped, her blood running cold at that. It certainly didn't bode well for her - Marzia may have been adapting fairly well to her time in LAW, but even still, she was just starting, and she didn't have nearly as much experience under her belt as some of the veteran wrestlers there. Her mind started to race with the possibilities. She must've somehow tipped Breanna off to her comparative lack of expertise, but how? What was she doing wrong, and how would she correct it for the future? And for that matter, just what was Breanna going to do to her next?

Needless to say, these thoughts occupied Marzia as Breanna got to her feet, but the sight of her opponent back at her full height was quick to alert Marzia to what needed to be done. She rolled back from Breanna and to her feet...only to wind up caught as she slammed her knee into Marzia's stomach, sending the Italian girl stumbling back with a cough. From there, Breanna closed in on her and grabbed her head, throwing her back with a DDT. Marzia let out a scream that was cut short by a thud as she made impact, stunning her before she slumped onto her face.

Breanna smirked as the crowd cheered for the move, but some of them felt bad for Marzia being at a disadvantage against an experienced wrestler. Breanna felt bad, but hopefully, she could make this less painful for Marzia and teach her some things. She looks at the fallen Italian girl and then put herself over Marzia and grabbed her arms putting them around her legs. She then sat down on Marzia and pulled up her chin in a Camel Clutch!

Marzia, for what it was worth, couldn't really tell what Breanna's intentions were - the fall had knocked her on the head, and she was still recovering from being jostled. Before she knew it, Breanna was on her back, wrenching her head back from under her chin. Marzia coughed at first, only to let out a yelp as she felt Breanna pull back harder and contort her spine. But she also remembered what she was doing here, and that she wasn't going to let Breanna win so easily. Even if she might've been more experienced, Marzia told herself she wasn't going to let that intimidate her. She had to fight on, and give as good an effort as she would against anyone. As she felt her heart beating faster in her chest, Marzia took in a breath, summoning the strength she needed. Even as Breanna pulled, she began to twist from side to side and buck, hoping to unsettle her opponent's hold on her.

Breanna saw the determination in Marzia and felt it come in strength as Marzia twisted and tries to buck the country girl off. Breanna tried to keep in the hold, but she was letting go fast. Marzia was wildly bucking as Breanna was buckled into the ropes. Breanna caught herself as she smirked at the Italian fighter and got back into a fighting stance.

She tried all she could, biting her lip to focus her attention, and soon enough Marzia was able to throw Breanna off her back. She slowly picked herself up, dusting herself off as she got back into a stance, and looked across as Breanna went rolling away from her. But no sooner had Marzia grounded herself that Breanna had stabilized herself on the ropes, and soon she got on her feet as well.

Narrowing her eyes, Marzia lowered herself as she looked at Breanna, in a cue that she was prepared to keep on fighting and meet her challenge. But rather than telegraphing her move, Marzia was quick to act, throwing herself towards the country girl as she bounded across the ring to close in the distance. If she could get close enough, Marzia would try and throw an elbow into Breanna.

Breanna smirked and winked at Marzia and respected her determination to fight as long as she could. It was very unique to see someone keep going even if they had all the disadvantages against them. However, Marzia got into stance as Breanna readied for anything Marzia had, but the Italian girl was fast to act throwing an elbow into Breanna’s face making the country girl cry out in pain holding her nose.

It was working, Marzia thought! Despite the fact she was up against someone with far more experience, she was actually having an effect - and it brought a smile to her face. With every hit that Marzia could land on Breanna, it made her feel stronger, more powerful and more competent. If she could last it like this against Breanna, then she could last it against anybody!

With Breanna thus stunned, Marzia would press her advantage, not wanting to give it up. She scooped up Breanna and went to suplex the country girl over her shoulder and onto the mat. And if she managed to successfully get Breanna grounded, Marzia's next move would be to pull up on her leg with an ankle lock. Maybe, she thought, if she could weaken Breanna's joints, she could press an advantage for herself.

Breanna tried to refocus herself as Marzia put her hand around her head and lifted her high in the sky bring Breanna down with a loud smack on the canvas with a Suplex. Breanna grabbed her back, but Marzia wasn’t quitting while she was ahead.

She reached down to force Breanna over as she twisted the country girl’s leg in an ankle lock as Breanna cried out in pain. She clawed at the mat and tried to reach the ropes, but she was only fingertips short. She tried using the free leg to knock back into Marzia’s Legs to try and release herself.
