Valerie Lexington vs Ivan Ramirez: Standard Match

“Hrgk! You’d like that, wouldn’t you?” Valerie spat out. Her attempt to reach the ropes had been thwarted and now she was in an even more precarious position with the camel clutch. The pressure on her neck and spine was intense and she was running out of time. If she didn’t turn things around now then she would either tap out or pass out.

With the ropes no longer in reach, Valerie’s only option was to power through the hold. She thrashed underneath Ivan trying to create an opening. Fighting through the pain, she managed to get onto her knees. From there Valerie summoned her strength and slowly rose to her feet even as Ivan still held on. She then ran back first into the nearest corner, ramming Ivan against the turnbuckles.

Despite the intensity of the camel clutch, Valerie manages to rise to her feet, carrying Ivan's weight with her. With a surge of adrenalin, she backs into the corner, smashing Ivan against the steel turnbuckles.

Pain lances through Ivan's shoulders and back as his body impacts the unyielding metal. Stars burst across his vision from the shock. For a split second, his grip loosens, just enough for Valerie to twist and wrench herself free.

Still dazed, Ivan tries to regain his footing, but Valerie is already upon him.

Valerie felt Ivan's grip slacken when she drove him into the corner, allowing her to break his grip off of her neck and force him off of her. She then took a moment to catch her breath and recover from the damage dealt to her. However, she couldn't afford to take too long. While Ivan was stunned for the moment, he would no doubt recover before long. So Valerie took the opportunity to drop kick him back into the corner.

Still reeling from being slammed into the turnbuckles, Ivan barely registers Valerie's approach. Her foot connects with his chest, driving him backwards into the corner again. The impact knocks the wind from his lungs and sends fresh waves of pain radiating through his abused body.

Ivan slides down the corner, his legs buckling beneath him as he collapses to his knees. He struggles to breathe, gasping raggedly as he clutches at his bruised sternum.

"Fuck..." He wheezed for air, the attack had left him winded.

A vindictive smirk flashed across Valerie's face upon hearing her opponent cry out. The dropkick found it's mark and the subsequent collision into the corner damaged Ivan and brought him to his knees. Now that he was vulnerable, Valerie would waste no time exacting her vengeance. She approached him and began to repeatedly stomp on his chest.

Through blurry, pain-filled vision, Ivan watches Valerie advance on him, each heavy bootstep reverberating through his skull. He forces himself to concentrate despite the agony, waiting for the precise moment...

Just as Valerie raises a foot to stomp down on his prone form, Ivan lashes out. His hand shoots up, grasping her ankle in a vice-like grip. Using the leverage, he yanks savagely, throwing Valerie's balance off.

Before she can react, Ivan rolls to his side and hooks a leg under her, locking in a half-boston crab. He digs his weight into her back, pulling her leg to increase the pressure on her lower spine.

"Did you really think it would be that easy? That I would fold just like that?" Valerie yelled as she prepared to bring down righteous fury onto Ivan's prone form. But the righteous fury ultimately never came as Ivan caught her foot and yanked it to throw her off balance.

"Wha-aahh!" Valerie cried out as she fell to the mat. Her leg was still in Ivan's grip when he locked in the half-Boston crab. Face-down on the mat, Valerie immediately tried to crawl to the ropes to force a break before he could do any more damage to her spine.

Feeling Valerie's body strain against the hold, Ivan senses her desperate scramble for the ropes. Growling in frustration, he releases the half boston crab with a final jerk that twists her torso painfully.

Rolling away from the ropes, Ivan scrambles to his feet. He glares down at Valerie, breathing heavily, a trickle of sweat running down his temple.

"That was lucky," Ivan rasps, voice hoarse from earlier impacts. "Don't count on it happening twice."

He reaches down and hauls Valerie up by her hair, ignoring her pained yelp. With a brutal shove, he forces her into the opposite corner, pinning her against the turnbuckles this time. Cornered, it's now his turn to repay her back tenfold with multiple bodyblows to her smooth stomach. Aimed to break her will to fight and keep her stunned.

With her arms free, Valerie was able to drag herself to the bottom rope to force Ivan to release the half-Boston crab. He does so but not without a final twist that sends a painful jolt through her torso. Ivan wouldn't let her rest though as he would pull her up by the hair and shove her into the corner. From there he would throw heavy punches into her stomach. Valerie brought her arms up to shield herself as best she could. Every time his fists came down on her it felt like he was dropping bricks on her, but she did her best to endure the assault until she could find an opportunity to strike back.

Ivan's fists pound relentlessly into Valerie's raised forearms and stomach, each blow striking with the force of a sledgehammer. The impact keeping her pinned in the corner, making it difficult to coordinate a counterattack.

After what feels like an eternity of non-stop strikes, Ivan finally stops his assault. Breathing heavily, he takes a step back and sizes up his battered foe.

"You're tougher than I expected," Ivan admits grudgingly. "But it won't save you."

Without warning, he lunges forward, aiming a brutal knee aimed straight at Valerie's midsection, intent on doubling her over.
