The Prima Donna's Diary - Chapter 10: The Veteran Venus (vs Toshimi Minami)

Ami was caught between a rock and a hard place, left to crumble under the pressure of Minami's punishing blows. The initial uppercut left her in a heavy daze, which left her exposed to a brutal follow-up kick as the dark-haired woman planted her foot right into the petite young lady's abdomen, causing her already aching ribs further stress and straining her lungs even more. Ami let out a tight wheeze as it took everything she currently had to keep herself together. However, that desperate attempt at a clinch would be turned around on the Prima Donna Darling as the Veteran Venus snatched control from her, digging her knees into that ailing body of Ami's one after another.

Minami's cruel, vindictive smirk would tell the audience everything they needed to know about the woman if they weren't familiar with her already. She was enjoying this far more than they could tell, feeling how the body of her much less experienced foe rattled and wobbled with every impact. Ami felt helpless for the moment, barely managing the block Minami's knees, while at the same time struggling to keep herself standing. The only saving grace she could find was when Minami tried to shift her hands downward from Ami's head to her waist, a split-second opportunity that allowed Ami to SHOVE Minami away as she placed both palms on her opponent's body before THRUSTING forward to send Minami back as far as she could just to give herself some breathing room.

Unleashing hell on her opponent Minami was smirking in sadistic pleasure as she laid into Ami, trying her best to beat some humility and respect into the brat who thought she could just walk into this ring like it was nothing. Just as she planned to go for something even worse though Ami would manage to get her bearings, bringing her hands up and shoving Minami away! "Tch." Minami hissed out, holding her sides where she had been shoved while glaring at the girl.

"Is that all you can do? How pathetic." Minami practically spat, only hanging back for a moment before she darted forward to press her assault on Ami before she had the chance to regain her bearings, bringing her fists about for a quick flurry of jabs at Ami, trying to pressure her guard. This would however be to get Ami's defenses up high so Minami could try and swing her leg out suddenly to drive a kick into Ami's knee! If it worked then Minami would then try and grab Ami's arm along with the back of her neck, trying to force her face down into the mat!

When Minami called her pathetic, Ami's eyes lit up with fury as she quickly tucked her fists in, raising her guard in an attempt to defend herself, looking for an opening that would let her shut the woman up. In the split-second moment before Minami would try to catch the Prima Donna Darling with a stiff kick to Ami's knee, the brunette would spot the older woman's leg shifting upward, cluing her in on Minami's next move. Thinking quickly, Ami pressed forward, slipping in close to deny her adversary any distance to land her attack, instead grabbing hold of Minami's leg as it came up and sweeping the woman off her feet, throwing her to the ground!!! The crowd cheered in delight, loving the sudden turnaround that the rookie managed to put on, with the bell ringing shortly after to signal the end of the first round. Ami took a deep breath, feeling a sense of confidence in herself again after putting Minami down. It didn't do a lot to effectively harm the woman, but the brief moment of humiliation would certainly piss her off...and that mental victory was enough to keep Ami's spirit afloat as she returned to her corner to rest up before the next round...

Going in for her next assault on her younger opponent Minami was naturally quite confident as she did so. After all thus far she had all but dominated, why should this next engagement be any different at all? Well as she swung her leg up she'd notice that Ami suddenly darted in towards her, far too close for Minami's leg to connect making her gasp as instead the limb was caught! 'No!' The Venus thought to herself as she was then suddenly taken off her feet and knocked down to the mat!

"Ngh!" Minami grunted as she landed, sitting up and immediately preparing to scramble away only for the bell to ring ending the match. "Damn it." Minami hissed to herself as she got back up, the frustration and humiliation of being saved by the bell made even worse by the look of pure smug joy on Ami's face. "Next round brat..." Minami hissed out as she returned to her corner, taking some drinks of water as she breathing a bit as she waited for the next round to start.

Hearing Minami's comment, Ami decided to tease Minami, grabbing her attention with a whistle before mockingly blowing a kiss in the dark-haired woman's direction. She was trying to ruffle her opponent's feathers, get under her skin, and really embed the previous humiliation in her mind. If Ami could make Minami lose her focus, the so-called Venus would lose her technical ability, if even just a little. All the Prima Donna needed was an opening...she rested up, sitting on her stool, recovering as much as she could. She took a swig of water before spitting it out, letting the rush of cold refresh her senses and soothe her sore face. When the break interval was over, she stood back up with a much more confident look on her face, focused and prepared.

"Come and get me, granny-..." She said, hopping on her feet.

DING!!! - ROUND 2

Minami hissed softly, her fists clenched tightly to the point that were it not for the padded gloves she may have drawn blood. No matter the case however she refused to give this little bitch the satisfaction of having a moment over her. Something that was already getting to the girl's head if the mocking kiss blown Minami's way was anything to go off of. Minami wasn't stupid mind you, she knew that Ami was trying to rile her up but damn it if it wasn't effective, making the Venus of Submissions growl angrily as she rolled her neck, silently waiting for the next round. Once the bell rang and she stood up against Minami would narrow her eyes dangerously at Ami as the girl came out of her corner with some choice words towards Minami. "Bring it on Brat...." Minami growled out angrily as she moved in, throwing a quick jab combination at Ami's face!

Ami clenched her fists and tightened her guard, already anticipating the aggravated Minami's incoming assault. She'd keep herself steady, letting the black-haired woman come to her as she began to pile on the pressure...but Ami was okay...she could be patient. She had to be. All she needed was a little bit of an opening, and when she found it, she LEAPED at the opportunity!!! She ducked under a stray jab, slipping in close and burying her knee into Minami's stomach to try and send her away while knocking a bit of air out of her in the process, but mostly-...Ami did it to frustrate and irritate the woman, even piping up to taunt her for it as she pulled her fists up and sent her own volley of punches toward Minami, swinging with sharp precision as she jabbed forward, fists flying at the woman's cheeks and jaw. "Too slow, grandma-!" She boasted.

Minami believed that keeping her advantage over Ami would be childs play, especially given her opponent was, in essence a child. Easy to put down with some precision and force. However Ami's defense was tight and she was evasive, avoiding the majority of Minami's offense before suddenly. "UGH!" Minami cried out in pain as she found herself with a knee blasting into her stomach that caused the older woman to back away, holding her stomach and wincing in pain from the move.

'Damn...' Minami thought to herself before snapping into focus as Ami mocked her. "Grandma?!" Minami hissed out only for Ami to burst forth, going on the offense herself now. "Grrrrr!" Minami growled out in frustration, putting her guard up and blocking Ami's blows as best she could, trying to wait for a opening and if one came she would try and side step before turning and throwing her arm forward and try to drive a elbow into Ami's cheek!

Ami smirked, managing to nail the older fighter with that knee. She was getting frustrated...good. Ami needed more of that, but she needed to remain observant and cautious. And in the nick of time, the petite brunette would manage to dodge Minami's elbow, slipping beneath her arm and quickly locking the Venus of Submissions up with a Waistlock hold, tightly wrapping her arms around her lower waist, putting on as much pressure as she could while planting her feet firmly. She squeezed the older woman's body with all her might, trying to wear down her core and control her movements. However, with the amount of resistance the black-haired woman gave, all the friction between Ami's pelvis and Minami's hips would cause the Prima Donna to shudder and shake a little, blushing as she tried to hold the woman still and transition into a different hold.

Minami was definitely getting annoyed now as Ami began to give her more trouble... Gradually admittedly but enough to become a nuisance for the woman. Worse yet it wasn't getting any easier given the fact that the Prima Donna brat had managed to get behind her and lock the Venus of Submissions in a damn rear waist lock!

Sucking a breath in through gritted teeth as her ribs were squeezed Minami would take measured, controlled breaths through her nose as she twisted and fought against her foe's grip, aiming to make transitioning into anything else as difficult as possible.

This would only be a temporary fix however, Minami would need something... more long term. Lifting a leg up Minami would then try and stomp down hard on Ami's foot to cause a shock of pain to stun her and loosen her grip. If this worked then Minami would turn sharply, bringing her arm about to drive a hard elbow directly into Ami's face to try and force her into letting go!
