Dancing towards the future (For Deezcastforms)

Deku actually surprised himself that he mentioned the idea of their third match. It wasn't really something he brought up often cause Noelle got a little... too into it sometimes. But something about her energy just made it to where he couldn't help himself, her competitive drive managing to infect him a bit he supposed. Naturally though Noelle was quickly proving why he was more apprehensive to bring this topic up normally as she immediately got more into it.

Just as he was about to respond however Noelle continued further, hypothesizing what he could do if he won and... yeah needless to say it made Deku blush a bright crimson, his brain short circuiting a bit as he thought about what she said and how... intensely she did so. 'So scandalous..' Deku thought to himself only looking up as the waiter brought their drinks. "Oh uh t-t-thank y-you!" He said with a slight stutter, accepting the drink before looking at Noelle and blushing again.

"Noelle if I didn't know any better I'd say that's what you'd want which I mean I could try but even if I did beat you which isn't to say I'm officially challenging you or anything but still I dunno if I could manage something like that though I could try but also its a good thing you cut yourself off when you did, we may get kicked-" Deku was in a muttering storm at the moment, something he didn't do as often these days but Noelle brought it out of him with her little fantasy.

Though as he got lot in his muttering the music in the restaurant would shift to a more mellow, romantic slow paced music, the staff clearing some tables and other obstructions from the center part of the restaurant to reveal a make shift dance floor, a perfect ditraction though Deku wouldn't notice it right away given his own state at the moment.

"Hehehe, looks like I broke him," Noelle chuckled, "been awhile since I've seen him do that." Unlike Izuku, Noelle noticed the shifting layout of the restaurant floor. She saw some couples come out, and looked between the dancing area and her boyfriend, "I suppose we'll have some time before the food gets here."

Noelle would grab Izuku by the hand and begin to walk him out to the dance floor, but would make sure to cut off his muttering with a quick little kiss on the lips. "Well, before we get to the sweaty, dirty stuff, how about we have a nice little dance?" said the Spaniard as she took Izuku the rest of the way out to the dance floor.

Deku was still mid mutter rant when Noelle placed her lips on his, the shock understandably breaking him out of it. "Huh what? oh! Oh right! Dancing that's ahah.. actually part of why I picked here." Deku said a little awkwardly, still flustered from getting broken but he quickly tried to push past it as Noelle pulled him along to the dance floor. Admittedly still blushing a bit he would reach out to take her hand while resting his other on her waist and starting to sway and pull Noelle along, taking the lead in the dance as other couples joined them on the floor.

Being European royalty, Noelle was obviously trained in slow dancing with a partner. Izuku. . . less so. He wasn't the worst dancer in the world, but It was more than just her boyfriend needing a reboot that caused Noelle to take the lead. "This is nice. Really nice," she said, and then leaned into Izuku, "everything I was hoping for, even."

Deku was grateful for Noelle taking the lead, he could definitely dance but only really the basics. Well mostly at least. So her taking the lead definitely helped some as the two glided across the floor. But honestly his mind was somewhere else, their conversation before about beating her. He knows she didn't mean it seriously, but he still couldn't help but think about it.

Did he really deserve to ask her the question he wanted too when he couldn't match her in the ring yet? The only thing that brought him out of his thoughts was the catalyst that caused them to change in the first place, Noelle, specifically her head leaning on his chest and complimenting the evening which did pick his mood up a bit. "Heh, thank you. The fact your happy makes me happy." He said to her with a soft kiss to the top of her head.

Noelle was normally a respectably perceptive woman, but she wasn't in a great spot to notice the conflict within Izuku. She was focused on him, yes, but not the parts that would allow her to notice his doubts. Noelle was more focused on the moment. The music, the warmth of her head against Izuku's chest, the appreciation that he had done this, and the love she had for him. For Noelle, this was too beautiful for anything to be wrong with it, so she failed to notice the potential problem in front of her.

Noelle noticed their waiter walking towards their table with food in hand. "As much as I hate to cut this short, I think our food is ready," she said. The two lovers would return to their table and be served, and for Noelle, this day only got better once she took her first bite. "Oh this is wonderful," she said, "it easily live up to the bar it sets for itself."

Deku had a very split mind set right now as he continued to dance with Noelle, pulling her along through the dance floor, with grace and warmth in every step. Yet his mind was plagued by the idea of if he deserved this or not. He still hadn't beaten Noelle, really proved they were equals or not, so did he deserve her?

Either way he'd be snapped out of his self doubts as Noelle mentioned their food was ready. "Oh right of course." Deku said following after Noelle, holding her hand while the ring in his pocket got heavier and heavier. Reminding him of why he originally arranged this date... but could he do it?

No. He had already decided that as the two retook their seats, Deku using the food and eating as a way to hide any troublesome expressions he may have had. "Holy whoa yeah. I knew it'd be incredible based on reviews but this is incredible." He said with a mix of both surprise and pleasure, the food legitimately making him forget his worries for a moment.

For as good of a conversation that Noelle and Izuku could have with each other, the food kept them quiet for a good bit once they were finished with their initial ravings about it. But with that silence, Noelle got to thinking a bit about this date. It had been entirely planned by Izuku, so she had no clue what else he might have in store for this anniversary date.

It could be just the dinner, they could go on a moonlit walk on the beach, it could even be a LAW show. Considering Izuku was insisting on covering the dinner, Noelle wasn't expecting him to be shelling out for anything else. At least she really hoped he wasn't. If he did, the princess would probably have to find a way to sneak him some repayment. But Noelle also thought that if Izuku had an engagement ring ready somewhere, she'd only wait long enough to let him get the words out before accepting.

In a way Deku was kind of glad for the light silence that settled as they started to eat. It gave him some time to think and sort out his priorities, especially over the increasing weight that was a ring in his pocket right now. But as they finished and he looked up at her it would vanish as he decided what to do. Putting his fork and knife down Deku was about to speak when the waiter came with their bill.

"O-Oh right." Deku said as he took out some cash and handed it to the waiter who took it to calculate the change before he turned to Noelle. "Hey Noelle, there's a park nearby here, want to walk towards it? There's something I wanna ask about." Deku asked as the waiter came back with his change, to which Deku would leave almost all of it as a tip before getting up and holding his hand out to Noelle to take her hand and lead her out of the restaurant and towards the park he had mentioned.

Noelle raised an eyebrow as Izuku pulled out paper money in order to pay the bill, as a restaurant as upscale as this was almost always handled by card. But if nothing else, he at least seemed like he came here prepared for what the bill would be, especially if the tip he left was anything to go buy. Noelle wasn't under the notion that her boyfriend was broke or anything, but she just wouldn't put it past him to try to reach above his means in order to provide what he felt was appropriate for a princess.

"Gladly," Noelle said as she took Izuku's hand, "A walk in the park sounds like a lovely nightcap to our date." Naturally, she was curious about what her boyfriend wanted to talk to her about. Perhaps it was just her own mind being focused in too narrowly upon the idea, but Noelle couldn't help but wonder if a moonlit proposal was in her near future.
