Sombra was amazed where this newfound strength was coming from, but her imagination was cut short when Asherah stood up and carried Sombra, before slamming her down on the mat. Sombra was now in a daze, a weakened state.

"How's about that break I offered you? Sombra said, sheepishly and still in a trance. She laid down on the mat, bracing herself for what the cute pirate will do to her next. "You look so cute in that hat.." Sombra said, dizzily.

Panting heavily, Asherah loomed over her stunned adversary, a triumphant glint in her bright yellow eyes. The pirate queen's chest heaved with exertion as she gazed down at Sombra's vulnerable form, sprawled out helpless on the mat.

"Well now, looks like ye need somethin' of a respite, eh love?" Asherah purred, a wicked grin spreading across her face.

"Also, the hat stays on."

She then reached down, grasping her opponents body in order to deliver a knee strike towards her sides.

Sombra begins to express her dissatisfaction about the hat and replies with "Aw-" before she is met with a painful blow to the side. Sombra grits her teeth as Asherah's knee strikes her side, the pain radiating through her, but she refuses to relinquish control. She winces, feeling the impact of Asherah’s powerful knee, but her body goes slack as she lets herself be overpowered in that moment.
"AHH!" she winces, with each knee strike hurting more than the last and causing the audience to react in a mix of cheers and boos.

With a victorious crow, Asherah unleashed a relentless barrage of strikes, her powerful legs unleashing a flurry of knee thrusts aimed squarely at Sombra's battered midsection. The crowd erupted into a cacophony of cheers and jeers, sensing the pirate queen's dominance as her blows rained down on the hapless foe.

Each successive strike drew fresh wails from Sombra's lips, her body limp and yielding as Asherah danced around her like a predator circling wounded prey. The Spaniard's skillful kicks cracked against ribs and gut, eliciting sickening thuds and leaving Sombra gasping for air in between agonized cries.

"Weak as water, this one is..." Asherah taunted, punctuating her words with another vicious kick that sent Sombra rolling. Feeling victorious, she sauntered over towards her opponent with intent to inflict more pain.

Sombra was losing her will to fight more and more with each successive knee strike to her abdomen. She was given a few seconds of precious respite after she rolled away from the maelstrom of violence that was Asherah.

"Ughh, my stomach..." She moaned, clutching her midsection as if it was about to fall off. "Get up, Isabella, you can do this. Queens never lose." She said, referencing her old e-sports team chant to hype herself up. She knew that she couldn't give up now, as there are still a million other stepping stones she would have to take in order to be where she wants to in the wrestling industry. She pushed herself up and was ready to counter whatever Asherah had in store for her.

Seizing the momentary reprieve, Asherah watched Sombra cling to her gut, a picture of pitiful vulnerability. "Ha! Look at ye, clingin' to yerself like a barnacle," Asherah smirked, sauntering closer to mock her foe's agony.

But the pirate queen underestimated Sombra's resilience. Seeing her opponent rise again, Asherah flashed a grin. "Aye, get up, pet. Time to dance with the queen of the high seas!"

With a burst of speed, Asherah charged, swinging a leg high into an axe kick straight at Sombra's forehead.

Sombra saw that Asherah was going for a kick, and so she rushed forward just as she was about to strike and grabbed her leg just as it was about to strike down.
"Nice try, but spamming doesn't always work you know!" Sombra said. Then, in one fluid motion, Sombra grabs Asherah's extended leg, using her own agility and strength to spin her opponent around in midair. Asherah’s momentum works against her as she’s suddenly thrown off balance.

With impeccable timing, Sombra twists her body and forces Asherah to the mat with a seamless takedown, using the pirate queen’s momentum to flip her over and slam her onto the canvas. As Asherah crashes down, Sombra doesn’t waste a second, immediately moving into a dominant position.

The crowd gasps and cheers, captivated by the precision and finesse of Sombra’s counter.

Asherah's triumphant cry died on her lips as Sombra's lightning-quick reflexes snatched her leg mid-air, sending the pirate queen careening out of control. Momentum betrayed her as Sombra twisted, wrenching Asherah around in a dizzying whirlwind before slamming her to the mat with bone-jarring force.

Gasping, Asherah lay stunned for a moment, her world spinning from the brutal takedown. But even as the shock faded, a surge of indignation ignited within her.

“Hope you saved your progress, pirate, ‘cause this is where the difficulty spikes!” Sombra taunts, flashing a grin. Before Asherah can fully regain her bearings, Sombra dashes toward the ropes, springboards off the second rope, and flips backward, using all her momentum to SPIKE Asherah’s head into the mat with a Springboard DDT! The crowd erupts at the high-impact move.

Sombra grins, “C’mon, Queenie! How do ya like my signature move? I call it Cruz Control, and it seems to be working, your HP bar is flashing red!”

Just as Asherah shook off the lingering effects of that devastating takedown, Sombra exploded into action, racing towards the ropes with blinding speed. In a blink, the feisty wrestler leaped from the middle turnbuckle, arcing backwards to drive Asherah's skull with a DDT to the mat.

Pain exploded across Asherah's vision as she slammed onto the canvas, stars bursting behind her eyelids from the vicious impact. Her world spun in chaos, disorientation washing over her in waves. Through bleary eyes, Asherah spotted Sombra standing triumphantly over her, that infuriating grin plastered across her face.
