Meiyun Lai vs. Ivy Aster

Meiyun might have been a rookie, and she might have been relatively unskilled, but her biggest asset in this match was her stubbornness. She had already made up her mind that she was going to cement herself as the next big thing in wrestling, and she wasn't going to allow anything that would stand to the contrary! Her whole body was wracked with pain as Ivy cranked down on her leg; her whole limb surged with a searing sensation, and her joints felt like they could tear apart. But she just clenched her teeth tightly in a grimace, stifling the urge to scream no matter how much she hurt. She had to fight back, no matter the odds!

Little by little she clawed at the canvas, trying to haul herself to the ropes. As long as she could get there, she thought, she'd be safe! But she wasn't expecting Ivy to pull off the maneuver she did - when she rolled herself under Mei's leg and threw herself across her body, pinning down her shoulders as her heavy breasts came down against her face! "MMFF-!!" Meiyun cried out, but she could barely make a sound when she was being smothered out beneath Ivy's chest, the world around her growing dark. And Ivy had made sure to restrain all of her limbs, grabbing one leg between her own while the other was twisted into a pretzel at her side! Meiyun would have a hard time straightening it to begin with, and it would be even harder if Ivy was pinning her down from above!

"One! Two!" Seeing that Meiyun's wrists were pinned, the referee dropped down to start the count. The Hakka girl tried her best to struggle free, squirming from side to side on her back to try and shake Ivy off her, but she could barely budge. Even so, she'd remain defiant to the end!

Ivy had caught Meiyun completely off guard with her switch from submission to pin, and as such was able to execute her Vertical Grapevine Breast Smother Pin exactly as she had drawn it up in her head. Ivy ended up on top of Meiyun with complete control over the Lioness's body and breath. The first two seconds of the count went by without issue, she just had to hold a little longer.

3! DING DING DING!

And that was that, the quick win Ivy was hoping for was hers. She got off of Meiyun and helped the Lightweight to her feet. "Sorry to pin and part ways, but my sister is waiting on me, so I must be off," Ivy said as she turned on her heel and began to make her way out. "Best of luck to you in the future," she added as she was stepping through the ropes, and then the Brit was gone.

Even in spite of whatever odds she was up against, Meiyun had tried to forge ahead. Maybe she was taking on a main roster member, with training and experience beyond what she was capable of, but Meiyun was convinced that her burning determination was all she needed to push herself over the edge. Unfortunately, Mei's ideals couldn't stand up to reality. Despite being on the back foot since the start of the match, she kept breaking out of every one of Ivy's attempts to keep her down - right up until the Englishwoman pinned her down while restraining her leg and smothering her beneath her chest at the same time. Now all of Ivy's weight was pressing down against her, keeping her firmly locked in place, and with all her limbs restrained, Meiyun couldn't find the leverage to break free. She tried her hardest to twist and turn - but in the end, it wasn't enough.

The count of three sounded, and as Ivy got up off of her, she helped Meiyun to her feet. The Young Lioness clutched at her arm, still panting for breath - being shoved beneath Ivy's bosom had been stifling, and her face was still flushed red and dripping with sweat as she tried to draw the air back into her lungs. To her credit, Ivy remained cordial to Meiyun - she seemed to see the promise in her, and wished her good luck for the future. But it fell on deaf ears. Meiyun bit at her lip and let out a sigh, slumping lower and looking away as Ivy left the ring. It seemed like the match had just begun, and now it was already over. She couldn't help but be disappointed - surely her spirit had to count for more than that.
