Hazel and Kai walked towards the entrance to the gym with Hazel eager to be the polite one rushing a few steps ahead of Kai to open the door for her, letting Kai step inside first. Before Hazel had both feet inside herself Kai bolted forward, forcing Hazel to do the same to keep up with her. The gym was quiet and Hazel hadn't noticed anyone else inside of the building as she did her best to keep up with Kai until the woman slid into the ring. With Kai already in the ring, Hazel slowed down and hopped up onto the ring apron before stepping between the ropes and heading to the opposite side of the ring from Kai.

Hazel smirked slightly hearing how confident Kai was that she could lock Hazel in a variety of holds and moves. "You're so sure I'm going to let you test all of them?" Hazel teased showing her own confidence though she wasn't going to be naive to think she was going to be unscathed during their spar. "But seriously, anything you want to avoid, anything sore?" Hazel asked, getting serious for a moment as she reached her arm across her body to stretch.

Kai wrestled on the indies in Japan and did the rare occasional appearance over in a European or American promotion. It was easy for her to adapt whatever she learned from her mother and her many fights on the martial arts circuits as she found out she had a knack for quick kicks and strikes. She also learned lots of submissions from MMA and decided to incorporate those into her arsenal as well. The only thing Kai learned remotely from professional wrestling itself is high-flying and she was known to fly off the turnbuckle when the need arose for it. She also loves jumping off the ropes for her various springboard offenses. Lots to test when it came to fighting Hazel.

“Well, I guess we can avoid getting too intense and save our breath for the actual ring should we find ourselves in front of a crowd. For now, I’m leaving options open for testing purposes. First, a respectful gesture,” Kai explained as she punched her fist into an open palm, closing her eyes, and bowing towards Hazel for sportsmanship.

Hazel started with more traditional wrestling in middle school and was rather good at it before switching to professional wrestling after high school, where her father trained her alongside her brothers and sister. The Scotswoman considered herself something of an all rounder with a lean towards power moves, the type of woman to slam you around before locking in a submission or go up to the top turnbuckle if needed.

Hazel smirked hearing Kai's remark about not getting too intense since it was just a spar, the highlander did agree with it, but whether or not either of them were going to try to hold back remained to be seen. Hazel saw Kai's fist and palm connect and immediately had an idea what Kai meant by a respectful gesture and quickly mimicked her, taking a bow herself before rising back up and getting in a fighting stance, her hands and arms up ready to grapple! "Ready when you are" Hazel said taking a step forward.

Kai nodded as she stepped forward herself adopting a standard martial arts ready stance. Kai blushed a little bit as always doing these over dramatic poses made it look more like she was auditioning for a ninja movie or a fighting game. Nevertheless, if Hazel wanted the real Kai, then she would get the former martial arts world champion that defeated many harder foes than Hazel ever was. Kai would demonstrate her abilities testing Hazel’s reflexes with a spinning heel kick to her face! She wasn’t one for grappling in her openings and Hazel would just have to get used to that.

Hazel was planning to try her best against Kai, but she didn't want to go all out and risk seriously hurting the woman opting to go for a standard contest of grappling to start things out, but it seemed Kai had other plans. As Hazel lunged forward for Kai she was met with the woman's foot hitting the side of her face! "Gahh!" Hazel hissed in pain as she fell to the mat, managing to catch herself on her hands and knees before raising a hand and rubbing her cheek. "Not holding back huh" Hazel asked jokingly as she rose back up to her feet. "Hope you can do more than kick though. Come at me!'" Hazel said teasing and challenging the woman across from her, the kick to the face seeming to light a fire in her!

Kai hopped around as Hazel was knocked to the ground not expecting her crush to go straight to the hoof with their spar. Kai didn’t want to sugarcoat stuff around Hazel and she didn’t do it with many of her opponents as well. Martial arts taught her to defend herself and how to excel in many different areas. She’d be doing her mother’s training a big disservice going easy against someone that would be deemed a worthy challenger and since Hazel loved raising her stock, it made her worthy on merit alone. Kai did feel a little remorse kicking hard, but Hazel seemed to love it enough to agree to going a little further. Kai came running in trying for a side kick to the gut!

It seemed neither woman was planning on holding back at this point, Kai especially. Hazel wasn't a masochist by any means, but being kicked so hard in the face by someone so hot, someone she was interested in, gave her a small thrill, and she wanted more.

With Hazel back on her feet and ready for more, Kai rushed in for another kick, this time towards the Scotswoman's stomach. Hazel was ready for it this time though, raising her hands and quickly seizing control of the Japanese woman's leg as it came in. Hazel stared into Kai's eyes for a few moments, a smile on her face, and a hint of lust in her gaze. The Highlander could have gotten lost for an hour staring into Kai's eyes but before she could and before Kai could act Hazel twisted the woman's leg while falling backwards, taking her down while also working over her leg with a dragon screw.

Kai felt Hazel’s strong arms wrapped around her leg as that left her hobbling on the free one and she had to compliment her balance as she could’ve easily just fell on the mat. Hazel took a second to look in Kai’s eyes and Kai had to blush deeply knowing that look in the Scotswoman’s eye meant that she was daydreaming about the two of them or she’s turning up the heat in her own spirit. It might as well have been the latter as Hazel hit a Dragon Screw sending Kai hurling on her back making the Japanese martial artist grunt! Kai rolled on the mat a few times before stopping on her stomach!

After taking Kai down, Hazel wasted no time popping back to her feet, watching the Japanese woman roll away before stopping on her stomach. "Don't go too far, beautiful" Hazel thought amusing herself enough to smile at her own joke before perusing her opponent. Before Kai could even get anywhere close to back up to her feet, Hazel reached down, wrapping her arms around the woman's torso. What was about to come next was nothing short of showing off, both her strength and muscles, as she attempted to deadlift the slightly larger woman off the canvas. If successful, Hazel would take a few steps, carrying Kai to the center of the ring to show off a bit more before arching her back and throwing Kai backwards with a gut wrench suplex!

Kai groaned as she felt her back and tried to huddle some time to recover, but Hazel wasn’t going to give her breathing room. She felt Hazel wrap her large arms around the waist and her vision saw the mat under her detach from her body. Kai found herself floating in mid-air within Hazel’s grip and it wasn’t too common a scene where she got lifted so easily. She forgets this isn’t a martial arts match where her size and strength gave her a bold advantage. There are other women just as strong as her and this was more common than Kai probably cared to understand. Kai barely had any time to react as she thrown into an upside down arch as she landed on her damaged back once more grunting in pain!
