Megumi Mutoh vs. Toshimi Minami - The Clash of Angels

As it turned out, Toshimi wasn't even fazed as Megumi tried to kick her legs at her as the Venus of Submission caught her legs, and she knew that once her limbs were caught by Toshimi, she would be in a world of pain after this, which meant being subjected to a submission hold was inevitable. Sure enough, Toshimi went to roll Megumi over while holding her by her legs, putting her in a Boston crab submission hold, and Megumi let out a cry of pain as her body was bent from the somehow basic submission hold.

Fighting Toshimi made her feel like that one time when she just started learning how to wrestle, that time when she first joined Wrestle Angel alongside Chigusa. Megumi might be a wrestling savant, as evidenced by her quick learning and prodigious skills, but before someone who was truly skilled like Toshimi, it made her feel rather inadequate.

"Aaahhh!!! Hnngghhhh!!" Still, Megumi knew that she could overcome the adversary that was the Venus of Submission, and despite being put in the Boston crab, which caused intense pain around her back and legs, Megumi would try to move forward, crawling towards the nearest ropes in order to seize a rope break so that she could be freed from the hold.

Toshimi would lock in the boston crab submission, holding tightly onto those legs as she would push her rear down onto the back of Megumi Mutoh, trying to seat herself on the shoulder blades of the red tights clad wrestler. She would nod her head as she looked over her shoulder, over to Megumi's head as she wanted to see how the young wrestler was doing. She watched as Megumi started to crawl and try and get closer to the ropes, little by little she did.

The Venus of Submission would nod her head, releasing soft words from her mouth. So faint that it probably couldn't even be heard by Megumi beyond the lovely red clad woman's screaming. "Good..."

After a bit of time in the hold, Megumi was able to pull herself towards the ropes and with it the referee went in and started the count. Toshimi Minami would wait until the second count came in from the referee before she would release those legs, stepping off of Megumi as she would give a light stomp onto the woman's rear a she backed off. Letting Megumi catch her breath and rise up to her feet as she would stand there, one hand on her hip and the other sliding through her jet black hair.

The few seconds of her trying to reach the ropes felt like an eternity before she finally got the rope break that she desperately wanted. Megumi held onto the bottom rope tightly as if it were her lifeline. She could feel Toshimi holding her in the Boston crab a bit more as the referee started counting before she was finally let go. But she took a light stomp right onto her rear, eliciting a yelp from the red-clad brunette. "Uhhhnn..." Groaning, Megumi would pull herself up, getting herself back on her feet with the help of the ropes before she turned around to face her opponent.

The Boston crab earlier had dealt a little damage on her, which would certainly affect her performance after this. Still, she would not let it hinder her as she would step away from the ropes as she would get closer to Toshimi, this time going for a lock up. Using the momentum of her moving forward, she would try to grapple with the Venus of Submission in a collar-and-elbow tie up, in which she would try to push Toshimi's head down, looking to transition it into a side headlock!

She needed to be careful while around Toshimi, knowing that she was an expert in submission holds. Megumi knew there had to be some way to overcome her opponent, and she needed to work hard in order to discover it.

Minami would watch as Megumi got up towards her feet and got ready to square of yet again, she had to admire that Megumi was for all intents of the word a genius. As like she had done in her match with Thunder Ryuko though, Toshimi Minami always strove to get the most out of her opponents, even if her methods were a bit unorthodox. Usually by trying to push them through whatever means she could towards higher limits. With Thunder Ryuko it was getting her angry, with Megumi...Toshimi figured the best way was to try and make the praised youngling seem like a rookie. It would make her more careful and maybe even make her think strategically in this match.

Toshimi would watch closely as they went in for that lock up, she narrowed her eyes and the two were finally in the collar and elbow tie up, yet it was Megumi who quickly shifted around and canceled their lock up, to instead lock in a side headlock on the raven haired woman, pushing her head up against the shapely chest of Megumi Mutoh.

Still, Toshimi was more than used to this kind of hold. She knew that the typical way that Megumi would think she'd deal with it was most likely to slip out and get her in a hammerlock, yet. Toshimi was going to show Megumi that she had different ways to deal with it. Lifting her right leg up, she'd bring it towards the back of Megumi's knee, trying to push it down and force Megumi to fall down onto one knee. She'd try and then slip her head out behind Megumi as she did, looking to wrap her arms around the kneeling Megumi's neck and head, as she tried to lock in a sleeper hold. Quickly falling down onto her back as she'd try and pull Megumi with her down onto the mat, for a downed rear naked choke hold.

Trapping Toshimi in the side headlock, Megumi planned to transition the hold into another hold, but the Venus of Submission was quicker to act as she brought her right leg up to the back of her knee, pushing it down and bringing Megumi down onto one knee. "Nghh..." Grunting as she was forcefully brought down, she was unable to keep the headlock tight as Toshimi slipped her head out of the hold before moving behind her. Getting herself behind Megumi, Toshimi then wrapped her arms her neck and head, locking her up in a sleeper hold!

"Hnguuhh!!" Wincing, Megumi ended up squirming as Toshimi then brought herself down onto her back, putting Megumi in a downed rear choke hold, squeezing her neck. Finding herself unable to breath, Megumi struggled as she was quickly losing her air. But then, she remembered that with Toshimi right under her while she was squeezing her neck, there had to be some way to free herself from this, and she would quickly try to bridge her body, getting herself on her tiptoes, hoping that this would count as a pinfall attempt.

Toshimi held on tightly onto that newly acquired sleeper hold as she had just locked in, tightly clutching that neck and that waist as she fell back and laid on her back on the canvas, she squeezed and constricted the body of the lovely Megumi Mutoh, the idol like wrestler who's popularity was only rising and talent was boundless.

The Venus of Submission wanted to bring out as much of that as she could in this match. She would squeeze tighter and tighter, as if she was straight up trying to end this match in just a few seconds by closing off both air and blood flow. Though Megumi then did exactly the perfect thing in this kind of match, she tiptoed and with it, pushed Toshimi's shoulders down against the canvas. The referee noticed this quickly and slid right in next to the two.

" One!..Two!..." Right after the two count Toshimi would release Megumi and push her off, allowing the brunette to breath as she would push up towards her feet." Clever...better..." Toshimi muttered lowly under her breath, she needed Megumi to push past this though if she wanted to have an intense match with the up-and-coming future superstar wrestler.

Thanks to Megumi's quick thinking, she managed to get herself into a position where she could go for a pinfall attempt by arching her own body in a bridging position, which forced Toshimi to relinquish the hold. Megumi didn't hear what Toshimi said as she shook her head, trying to clear her head, breathing heavily in order to get herself enough oxygen after being deprived of it for a while. She got herself on her hands and knees first before she forced herself back up on her feet.

"Haa... guhhh..." Grimacing, Megumi would then stand on her feet, facing Toshimi. Just like before, her senior in Wrestle Angels had proven herself to be a better wrestler compared to her. She might have pure talent, but Toshimi was a different breed altogether. Relying on her talent alone wouldn't be enough to overcome the Venus of Submission. So, Megumi decided that she needed to use another approach in order to take Toshimi on, hoping that this could work this time.

So, she would once again close in, this time going for a strike. Once she got closer, she would plant a foot on the canvas as she would pivot, spinning around in order to try landing a spinning kick at Toshimi. She planned that if Toshimi managed to catch her foot, she would try to use it as her leverage to lift herself up, attempting to land an enzuigir on her. Still, if Toshimi decided to evade the kick rather than catching it, then she would not be able to use the enzuigiri and had to quickly step back in order to avoid a counterattack from her.

Toshimi knew that Megumi Mutoh could do a lot more than just quick reactions and mindlessly trying to string together moves after one another, sure the red clad wrestler had talent, there was no doubt about it, but she needed smarts and also experience, now experience was something that one earned over time, but a lot of it could be gained in a tough match.

For the moment Toshimi wanted to bring out all she could from the talented superstar, if Megumi was going to be someone here in LAW she would have to grow, and grow quick before the other already talented and experienced women here in LAW. The raven haired woman would stand ready, body prepared for what Megumi Mutoh would throw at her.

When the Combat Genius came right at her, the Venus of Submission would step back and then try to catch that leg of Megumi's, she wouldn't fall to such a blatant kick. Though, it seemed as if she was only playing into Megumi Mutoh's plans as the red one piece clad wrestler jumped up with her other leg and smacked it right into the side of Tohimi Minami's head, knocking her for a loop and making the purple clad woman drop straight onto her back in a daze.

Megumi's plan worked as she managed to land the enzuigiri on Toshimi after having the dark-haired wrestler catch her foot, which was meant to give Megumi a leverage to perform the enzuigiri. Falling onto the mat after performing the kick, she would then look at Toshimi, seeing that she was on her back after taking the kick to her head. Quickly getting herself back on her feet, the Combat Genius would then run past the downed Toshimi, heading over to the ropes before turning around, rebounding herself from them to return back to her opponent.

Once she arrived at her opponent, she would use her momentum to perform her next attack, which was a running moonsault, in which she would try to land a senton on Toshimi, landing herself back first onto her opponent's body. Hoping that the move would take some fights out of the Venus of Submission, Megumi would then try her luck, grabbing one of Toshimi's legs and lifting it up, going for a pinfall attempt.

She was aware that this wouldn't be enough to take Toshimi out, but at the very least, the pinfall attempt should have put some pressure on her fellow Wrestle Angel, giving Megumi more advantage over Toshimi later in this match.

[Devastated]

Toshimi already found herself a bit foggy after having been hit by the Enzuigiri of Megumi Mutoh, where she was laying on her back, groaning and holding onto her head with her right hand, trying to clear the cobwebs caused by that kick to her head. The raven haired woman would grunt out as she heard the rumbling of fast steps hitting the canvas, but for the moment she was fully aware of what was going on.

To her surprise, it was Megumi who then came jumping up and crashed into her with that running senton, smacking her back down into Toshimi's gut and causing the raven haired woman to grunt out loudly upon impact. "Uurgh!" Her body bounced up off of the mat for a second before slumping back down, underneath Megumi.

The Combat Genius was then quick and effective in going for that pin and the referee slid in next to them, checking on Toshimi Minami's shoulders before she began the count. " One!..." She called out as she slapped her hand down against the mat, " Two!..." She smacked her hand down again and got to the second count, but right after it came, the raven ahired wrestler's body bucked up and broke the pin, showing Megumi Mutoh off of her.
