Middleweight Championship Match: Tracy "Circus Cat" Canon vs Tina "Tigress" Armstrong(c) - Coming of Age

Tracy did what she could to roll with the punches. She had taken a springboard move and recovered quickly enough to fire back with a swift kick. But just milliseconds after she felt her boot connect, Canon realized that it Tina had raised both arms to block! With an opening created from the fact that the Luchadora still needed to pull her leg back to try another move, the champion was able to set up for a Big Boot kick!

Tracy would bring up her own arm to try and shield herself from the blow, but it wouldn't be enough to stop her from going down. With a pained groan, she'd fall to the canvas once again, reeling after having been floored by Tina yet again! Tracy was in a bit of a bind, but she did what she could to hold on. The optimistic showboat would slowly roll onto her front and try to push herself up to all fours. She wasn't about to let Tina grab a ladder to climb. Not if she could help it!

Tina saw Tracy getting up, and she expected her spirited for to do so. She grit her teeth and made her way over to Tracy, trying to grab her around the head with one arm and send a few hard body punches to a doubled over foe! Tina's aim was to deal enough damage to Tracy to grab onto the waist of her attire and get firm hold.

from there Tina was going to try to lift Tracy up for a big vertical suplex that had enough impact to keep Tracy down at least for a moment! Tina knew she couldn't set up a ladder, Tracy wasn't going to stay down for that. However, if she could get a ladder into the ring it opened up a lot of offense she could unleash uponTracy to keep her down!

On a side note, this sword was double edged.... Tracy also would have a lot to use against Tina as well!

Tracy was driven in this match. While the kick she had just taken might have kept her down longer in other matches, this one was for the gold! A chance like this wasn't something that any wrestler worth their boots should waste. With the desires for championship fame driving and the will to best the Tigress driving her, the luchadora was back on her feet in little time. The Circus Cat would shake her head to find her bearings. She collected herself just in time to see Tina's hands seizing her head to set her up for a few stiff body blows!

Tracy would grunt in pain with each one. Her foe would ride the momentum from her string of moves by stunning the challenger in order to set her up for a Vertical Suplex in the center of the ring. The audience cheered as Tina used her firm hold on Tracy's leotard to hoist her off the canvas and overhead, and the aerialist would attempt to escape by throwing her weight forward and landing on her feet behind Tina! She'd keep her arm wrapped around Armstrong's head to try and follow up by dropping down to the mat to counter with a Neckbreaker! If her move connected, the back and forth contest would further enliven the audience!

Tina had Tracy in the air,but felt a sudden shift of her weight and the next thing she knew she was staring forward, not holding anyone in the air. Her head was pulled back and plummeting towards the mat before she knew it, the tigers landing and letting out a groan of pain upon impact! Tracy was in a daze now, gasping for breath as her arms cradled her head. The pain surging through her neck was clear to everyone as she spasmed a bit and kicked the mat in pain a couple times before rolling to her side.

Tina wanted to get up but the sudden blow was too much for her to overcome so quickly. Tina was down, and Tracy again in control of the flow of the match. This was dangerous for Tina as she was foolish enough to make her first challenge against a woman whom held an edge over her given the match type! Tina was beginning to regret her bravado at this point, but there wasn't anything she could do about that now!

After reversing the Suplex, Tracy rolled onto her front. Despite all the bravado and the match type, this was looking to be an uphill battle for her. She knew she could grab the title in just a matter of seconds. "Come, Tracy!...You...don't even have to pin her..." The Circus Cat said to herself aloud as slowly began to push herself up off the canvas. Tina was reeling, but Tracy knew the Tigress wouldn't stay down. She didn't become inaugural champ by staying down. And Tracy didn't become the first number one contender by slacking, either!

In an effort to raise the stakes, the masked woman would roll towards the ropes and make for the outside of the ring. She'd find her footing and smile at the fans at ringside before pulling the cover up from the apron of the ring and bend down to reach underneath it. The red haired wrestler would begin to pull out a long, 15 foot ladder. She'd reach for two rungs of the ladder, near it's center, and she'd struggle for a moment to lift it. But if nothing got in her way, Tracy would slide it under the bottom rope and into the ring, much to the crowd's excitement!

Tina was snapped back to reality by the clanging and sounds of a ladder being pulled out and slid into the ring. She hobbled up to her feet and grit her teeth. Tracy wasn't the only one here who could fly....

The tigress saw Tracy sliding a ladder into the ring and she took off for the opposite ropes, bouncing off to build up speed. As soon as she neared the other side of the ring she leapt up, trying to vault herself over the top rope to fly through the air and come crashing down on top of Tracy! This was either going to get her right back in the thick of things, or create a grand opening for Tracy to take full advantage of the situation!

As Tracy exerted herself to retrieve a ladder from beneath the ring, Tina sought to make her move! The blonde built up speed by running to the opposite side of the ring! By the time Tracy had thrust the ladder into the ring and under the bottom rope, Armstrong was already to hop over the ladder before making her way to the ropes and leaping over them for an Impressive Suicide Dive over the top rope!

The blue eyed luchadora would look up in surprise! She'd be too winded from handling the ladder to dodge, and Tina would land on her, causing both women to be laid out on the arena floor in a daze! It would take them time to rise. Tracy would slowly find her way to all fours and then to her feet. With no count outs and no disqualifications, the audience would cheer on both women as they each tried to scramble to their feet and capitalize!

Tina crashed into Tracy and was hoping she hurt Tracy more than she hurt herself! Tina groaned and rolled around on the outside before rising up to her feet. She was wincing but still trying to establish herself. Tracy needed to be slowed down, so Tina knew what she had to do... but not exactly how to do it!

Tina reached over to grab hold of one of Tracy's arms as she stepped towards the steel ring steps, twisting her torso while planting her feet. Tina wanted to Irish whip Tracy into the ring steps as hard as she could, hoping that impact dealt a solid blow to her high flying foe!

The two middleweights were wiped out on the outside of the ring. Tracy grit her teeth and tried to hold her own. The red head was determined to put the LAW roster on notice with a standout performance from their resident Circus Cat. She'd slowly find her way to her feet, but sadly, not before Tina!

The champion winced as she fought through the pain from her own aerial move to grab hold of Tracy's arm and tug on Canon's person to set her up for an Irish Whip! It didn't take long to see that she intended to send her blue eyed foe barreling towards the steel steps outside the ring! But Tracy wasn't about to let it go uncontested! After being thrown towards the steps, the luchadora would run towards them briskly and then jump up onto them! Tracy would find her balance on the edge of the steps before jumping back and torquing torso to spin around! Tracy would attempt to counter by aiming a midair Roundhouse Kick at Tina's temple!

Tina saw Tracy leap up and perch herself. Not good. Tina had to make a definitive stop to slow her down before the first middleweight champ ended up dethroned in her first defense!

Tina moved to the side and forward, getting out of the way of the kick as she reached out. "This ends now! Haaaaaa!" Tina shouted as she tried to twist and powerslam Tracy hard to the ground below!
