Laura's offence early on in this match has proven to be quite effective with managing to keep Yumie down and raining some punches, keeping the fight on the ground might in fact be the best option she has but unfortunately for her, Ymie was proving quite observant. Her arm was grabbed right before she was going to commit to the choke and her own throat was grabbed, though not immediately worrying it sent an instinctive panic through Laura's body that in trying to back away made it only easier for her opponent to roll them over.

In the new position, Laura was certainly at a disadvantage but the initial shock passed and when she saw the punch coming her way she'd raise her arms up to guard but in doing so remained blind to her opponent's next move who withdrew from her only to then sink her boot into the blond's stomach. Her body lurched upward, letting out a wheezing sound as the air was pushed out of her lungs and as soon as the foot was off of her, she'd turn to the side, grabbing at her hurt midsection and curling her body inwards.

As Yumie got up she took full advantage of her opponent's guard as her boot hit the target leaving her opponent to curl up in a little ball of pain resting on its side. Not wanting to give this woman anything that even resembled or was remotely related to a break Yumie reached down trying to pick her opponent's entire body up like a deadlift! If successful Yumie would hold her opponent horizontally across her body for a moment letting the crowd soak in the power and strength before continuing to lift her opponent throwing the woman back over her head with a fallaway slam as Yumie took two steps forward before flexing her muscles showing off for the crowd a bit as she would start to establish control if she was successful.

After the stomp she received, Laura could not recover in time to stop what was coming next as Ymie effortlessly managed to pick her up from the floor, and using the blond's dazed state, she'd showed off a bit before finally launching her into the air. First came the rush of air as Laura was thrown up in the air, then that sinking feeling in the bit of your stomach when your body realizes it's about to fall and then an impact, sound of which was not entirely unlike a thunderstrike. "Ghhhya!" She cried out as her body threatened to break the floor of the ring, luckily stopping somewhat short of it after which the years of training kicked in, prompting her to roll away and towards the ropes where she'd start to get up while her opponent was posing for the crowd.

As Yumie threw her opponent her ears perked waiting for that wonderful sound of an opponent falling hard onto the ring. The kind of noise that sounded like thunder, the kind that could get you excited just hearing it and it came as Laura crashed down onto the canvas. The noise of the ring was then followed by a cry of pain from her opponent's lips prompting Yumie to glance back as she saw the woman rolling towards the ropes. Knowing she couldn't let the momentum stall so easily Yumie stopped showing off for the crowd immediately readying herself for when her opponent got back up to her feet. Waiting for her opponent to be almost the entire way up to her feet Laura ran towards her opponent aiming to clothesline the woman over the top of the rope if she closed the distance fast enough and before her opponent could fully process what was about to happen.

As Laura was getting herself up to standing she paid close attention to Yumie and when the woman noticed that she was getting up, she cursed internally but maybe, just maybe she could make it work. She'd slow down on her way up when she knew she was being watched, waiting for a sign of her opponent's plan and when Ymie took the first move, Laura would be ready. With the clothesline coming her way, she'd immediately stop her movement, instead going low and charging in as well to try and counter her opponent's attack with a spear, hopefully, able to get her down to the ground and grant herself a moment more of reprieve.

As Yumie started to sprint towards her opponent, arm extended she couldn't help but feel something was off, had she seen things or did her opponent slow up when getting to her feet, did she know what was coming? Thoughts of doubt ran through Yumie's mind and Laura was quick to prove them right as the woman turned, going low and meeting Yumie head on with a spear. Laura's shoulder drilled into her stomach knocking some air from her lungs as Yumie was taken to the canvas back first coughing and curling up hugging her stomach in pain as she rolled onto her side trying to recover as her opponent seemingly did the same.

Managing to stop Yumie from getting too much momentum this early, Laura continued to take a few steps and grab the ropes, still breathing heavily after the stomp to her midsection. Looking back at her opponent however she knew she had to use the opportunity while it lasted but she needed to be smart about it. Yumie was powerful and more technically savvy than Laura would like her to be so to increase her chances she'd have to compromise on her strengths in some way.

After the first idea got into her head, she wasn't looking for alternatives, she certainly had no time to do so. As such she'd get to Ymie, attempting to grab one of her legs and wrap her legs around it as she sat down. Her hands would lock in a butterfly grip around the woman's foot, one at the heel, the other at her toes as she'd then use the rotation of her body to push the foot off to the side and stretch it back, compressing both bones and ligaments holding it together, hopefully making it harder for the white fox to move from now on.

Feeling her leg grabbed Yumie raised her head just in time to see Laura wrapping her legs around her own though the pain was yet to start for several moments until the woman's arms and wants went to work, twisting, crushing, compressing joins and ligaments. Yumie let out a pained cry pushing on her elbow desperately trying to pull herself towards them extending her arms a few times though the ropes were far and she had to drag her opponent's weight as well like a boat anchor but Yumie needed to get free before the hold could have any limiting and lingering effects!

Laura was applying as much force as she could to the hold when Yumie started to drag them both to the ropes, she could do nothing about that part but she could at the very least get the most damage possible from the leglock while it lasted. Eventually, however, they reached the ropes but before Yumie would even reach for them, Laura would let go, standing up but still holding onto the woman's leg.

Neither the referee nor the audience seemed sure about what she was going to do but as soon as Laura stood up, She'd pull at Yumie's leg, trying to drag her away from the ropes before then letting go of the leg. Her target now was set and if she could work it enough she might tip the odds in her favour and to do so, she'd stomp on the freshly released leg's knee, hoping to further hamper Yumie's movement!

Yumie crawled and crawled and crawled some more, soon just an arms reach away from the ropes Yumie extended her hand before it fell to the mat, her fingers scratching the canvas as Laura got up and dragged her back to the center of the ring before... "GAH AH AH!" Yumie cried out in pain as Laura stomped her knee! Eager to stop the pain and damage Yumie would attempt to twist and lift her back before kicking at Laura's face aiming to catch the woman beneath the chin with her boot!
