Lady Hannya vs Finlay Zeffer - The Gate Of Yomi Opens

The hannya was a brutal thing, she was a being of envy after all. Yet also underneath that mask, known only to her foe lurked the trickster nature of the tengu. One that would seek to be slippery when the human was getting too assertive if she could help it, plus her Ito mantra was screaming at her to escape, envisioning not just Finlay in the octagon there, but also more than one already preparing to strike at her. Hannya hissed loudly as if a snake spewing disdain, but her knowledge of the ground game was looking textbook there.

The way was clear for Hannya there and she felt her limb slip free, but not without a shoot of pain going up it. Serving as a reminder of what could have lurked there had Finlay secured and extended it fully.......She rolled backwards after it, instantly regretting it and wincing under her mask as she felt the pressure again shoot up.

It was gonna be the least of her injuries after all this something told her. Still Hannya was taught to fight through it with her clan instructions, she saw Finlay diving in close there and relied on her instincts. Hannya would lunge upwards there and try to leap up and attempt to cinch Finlay's neck in with a tight pair of front facing headscissors, before then making to try and squeeze his head tightly with her hands holding his head in place to showcase how the human should be punished for facing this otherworldy being!

Finlay and Hannya's battle despite being so young was intense as could be. Trading strikes and now especially submissions neither was backing down for a moment or looking for any reprieve, the moment one hold ended it was right to trying to get another. This is where Finlay was right now, pushing himself up and practically flinging himself at Hannya, trying to get to her to lock in another hold.

Unfortunately however it would lead to Hannya throwing her legs up as he neared, capturing his head between those luscious thighs of hers and squeezing down on him for a vicious headscissors! "NGHHHH!" He groaned out in pain grabbing and squeezing at Hannya's legs, trying to pull them apart from his head but he wasn't having much luck so far, leaving him in a precarious position at the moment!

The Hannya would admit that submissions holds were......better suited for her other self, the one who concealed herself with feathered wings and fan. Yet she was one that would accept any method so long as her wrath could be sated in the realm of combat. The Hannya would manage to secure her opponent into that lethal headscissors there, the only thing that Finlay could likely see there was the Hannya mask that gleamed in the lights above the octagon.

"Hnnnnnnnn........" Hannya gave only a low hiss, like a snake that had coiled around its prey as she deadweighted herself on the mat as best she could. To add to the pain and disorientation that Finlay was likely feeling there the mysterious warrior would then start to pepper in some blows to his face with her right hand there to try and add to the damage and sensory deprivation he was going to have to handle and get out of if he hoped to stay in this!

Hannya's legs were entangled tightly around Finlay's had, leaving him trapped and breathless against his opponent's thighs and core. 'Damn.. damn it. Have to do... something..' Finlay thought to himself, his thought process getting completely thrown off as punches began to rain down on his face, smacking against him, sending his thoughts into disarray and making it harder to focus.

Gritting his teeth he would reach up, trying to grab Hannya's fist as it came down next. Holding onto it to keep her from punching him more Finlay would turn over, trying to get onto his side, and if successful, raising his free arm up and bringing it down elbow first onto the side of Hannya's knee, not once, but repeatedly, trying to batter her leg and force her into releasing him!

There was a cold air that would grip the octagon ring there and the front row crowd in attendance there, as they witnessed the Hannya unleash her wrath upon this seemingly hapless human that dared to step into her lair. Finlay however was far above the peanut gallery if he wasn't then the Hannya would have just not even bothered to show up in the first place though even he seemed to struggle against her. Yet despite the clear violent intent and aura of her the Hannya gave no roar, no yelling of obscenities or anything to match the fear inducing expression etched on her mask. There was just a cold silence from her.......

Still this icy fury was directed with tunnel vision, so focused on her fury was Hannya that she neglected her flank. Her thinking Finlay moving there to his side was viewed as an admission of weakness to her, then suddenly he would land a pair of sharp elbow strikes right against the Hannya's unguarded kneecap there! A numbing and electric pain shot through her body and she slumped down there giving a loud wheeze and hiss there as her vengeance was sharply curtailed by her lack of foresight and the demon was down now!

Forced down and getting choked and punched by Hannya there wasn't much Finlay could do.. but fight his way out. Literally as he blasted his opponent's legs with elbows to her knee which thankfully did the job well, forcing the girl into loosening her hold and thus allowing Finlay to twist out of her grasp and turn, pushing himself up as he did so. If successful in doing so Finlay would scoot forward in a effort to mount his opponent and if successful he'd change the pace of this match, trying to unleash a flurry of blows down onto her face to daze and weaken her as much as possible with a ground and pound!

The Hannya was reeling from the sudden turn around there and the next thing she knew the human was mounting her and managing to score a ground and pound session against her! This was the worst place to be in the Ito clan arts, their one vs many mantra cited this as the most vulnerable place. Down on the ground against many.......still even if Finlay was on his own he was worth more than 3 of your average thugs in the Hannya's mind.

Her mask wouldn't come off, shaped and custom made for battle as it was and extensively tested so by the Hannya in underground cage fights where she showed up and caused havoc. Still it did little to shield her from Finlay's blows there and she let out a low, primal hiss like a monster exposed to what ailed it. Damn Finlay hit hard there and already there were spots appearing in Hannya's vision. This was bad, Hannya resorted to a desperate move there as she balled her hands into fists there and got them up to shield her before attempting to slink her legs around Finlay's waist to tightly constrict him there and rock the boat as it were and attempt to have them roll around in the octagon in a battle to jockey for position!

Despite the back and forth nature of this match Finlay had seemed to have found the first fully dominant position of the bout. Mounting the Hannya and start to throw punch after punch at her face, trying to cement this win for himself. Hannya however wasn't quite down for the count just yet as she wrapped her legs around his waist, before pulling him over and sending both of them into a roll!

"Ngh!" Grunting from the squeeze around his waist Finlay didn't have the chance to brace himself for the sudden rotation, as a result, despite a few attempts to stop their rotating with his arms Finlay wasn't having much luck and was quickly getting dizzy, effectively at Hannya's mercy for when she designed to stop spinning them!

Rolling around on the ground was something that the Ito clan didn't perform often in their fights, intent as they were on ending battles as swiftly and upright as possible. One laying on their back was either a vulnerable or finished opponent in their mind, the Hannya however learned elsewhere in her persona of the trickster. You had to have other plans in mind, sure this constant rolling around clinging to her human opponent wasn't dealing direct damage but it was certainly making him dizzy. Same with the Hannya actually, but the Hannya trusted in her mortal skills as an actor and acrobat to keep her whereabouts. It worked to some extent, but the Hannya's vision was blurred and the mask wasn't helping.

Gritting her teeth underneath it Hannya would resort to trying to get atop Finlay there and briefly pause to rest against his muscled chest, panting quietly to herself. But that window of vulnerability was known only to him being close enough to hear as the Hannya would try to pin Finlay's shoulders to the mat and try to balance on them for a brief moment, so that she could slam her knees right into his gut with her then falling to the side there and needing to catch her breath shortly thereafter.

Despite having the momentum for a moment it would not last long before Hannya took him for a spin... Literally, bring him about and rolling them around the mat for what felt like a few minutes before they finally stopped with him on his back, motionless and unable to think straight, let alone retaliate. Something that his masked foe seemed to need for herself as well, laying on him for a few moments before he felt pressure on his shoulders.

Looking up with a dazed expression he would try and clear the stars from his eyes and focus on her, and he did so, but only just before she suddenly put more weight on his shoulders, lifting herself into the air before coming down knees first onto his abdomen! "GAHHH!" Finlay cried out in pain, his torso and legs shooting up before crashing back down before he turned on his side, trying to get Hannya off of him while he coughed and gasped in pain from the blow, utterly stunned!
