Some Advice for Chey Bae

Cheyenne listened patiently, her face looking thoughtful as Alizeh went through with her advice and her own experience in a similar situation. She was thoughtful, kind, and understanding. She always knew that about her friend, but she had been very thorough. And that helped Cheyenne calm down a bit more. She felt bad for her friend having been somewhat pushed into hentai matches and the like as well. And when Midori concluded, Black Rock nodded and simply said, "Mmm." A familiar placeholder noise for the Native American, and an indicator that she was thinking about what she wanted to say.

She would then reach forward to down the rest of her canned drink before setting it down. Taking a deep breath, she would then give her response proper. "I am sorry that you have gone through something similar. And that you have felt similar frustrations during your career. They haven't given me the numbers for my pay increase... I think because I may have acted like they didn't expect when they called me in." Blowing out a breath of air through her nose, she squeezed Alizeh's hand, nodding.

"I have... reservations about it all. And I am certain you are aware of what they may be given our previous instructions," stated Cheyenne plainly. She would then frown, looking a bit confused. "I think... I am very confused about this, a lot as well. I understand I am attractive, but I have never considered myself... typically hot. Especially with the number of women in this league I feel fit that description far better, as they match a more typical standard for beauty. I am mostly very stunned there was such a powerful response calling me hot, among other things. Many of which I do not actually understand." It was true to Cheyenne--she never felt like she was a beautiful as the other girls, although she was very much confident in her appearance otherwise. That was never important to her. What she found important was being fit and strong. It was quite revelatory for her to see how Twitter had reacted to her.

Already Alizeh could tell that just listening to Cheyenne had a positive effect on the woman, likewise it seemed her words and shared experience actually did help Cheyenne with putting things together. Something that made her nod in affirmation towards the woman as she offered her own condolences for how things had gone but Alizeh waved her hand casually.

"Its fine, sucked at the time but like I said, ended up being useful in the long run, which is why I want you to think about it more." Alizeh said in response before Cheyenne continued talking, specifically mentioning that she didn't feel she matched up to the standard of other women in LAW, or the general idea of beauty and what not.

Too which Alizeh gave her a dead pan. "See... that's where I can get where Deanna was coming from." Alizeh said as she took a breath, thinking about the best way to phrase this. "You are hot. Like, stupid hot, crazy hot even. You're tall, you have amazing long, dark hair, beautiful skin, muscular but not TOO muscular, you have legs for days and like... girl you're but AND breasts are amazing." Alizeh said blunt as a hammer, but listing off each and every objective reason why Cheyenne was hot, hoping the more factual and logical approach to thinking about it would help get through to her.

Cheyenne Black Rock watched Alizeh with a skeptical, narrow-eyed stare as she spoke, paying her many compliments. Not just compliments, but more of a bulleted list of her attributes that one could consider attractive with her. She didn't seem fully convinced despite her green-haired friend's insistence and confidence in saying it. "...My breasts are... nice, yes. I do understand that," was the Native American's immediately response, subconsciously putting a hand over her chest as well.

"...And yes, all of these things can be considered attractive... But I do not see myself as standing out as any more attractive than many of the women in the league," explained Cheyenne, pausing as she considered that. "...Why me? This is my confusion. I'm not particularly... sexy either. I do not present myself as such. I don't even know how to be sexy. If one even has to try to be sexy in the first place." She waved her hand side-to-side, shaking her head as she continued to go talk through her thoughts with Alizeh.

Alizeh recognized the skeptical look on Chey's face right away and wasn't surprised in the least. After all while she accepted the possibility of doing hentai stuff fairly easily since she was open to it... Cheyenne was decidedly not so open. Which was fine, but she wanted her honest advice and she'd give it and it would start with listening and nodding as Cheyenne expressed her confusion and frustration with being labeled sexy despite not thinking it fit her.

Sighing softly Alizeh would sit up a bit and lean a bit closer to Cheyenne. "Cheyenne Black Rock, you are without a doubt sexy as fuck." Alizeh said bluntly again, holding her hand up to stop any protest so she could continue. "However its not cause of your body. That definitely helps and draws eyes. But what draws attraction and makes you sexy is everything else." Alizeh explained, letting it sink in before continuing.

"That cool, intense gaze in your eyes, the way you carry yourself, that silent strong type atmosphere you have, it's literally so damn sexy and that's a big part of why people want to see you doing this stuff, it isn't JUST cause of your physical traits, although granted, they are all great too and EASILY contend with the other girls here." Alizeh said before leaning back against the couch while still looking at Cheyenne.

"Really the only unsexy thing about you is how much you undersell yourself. Like I get its not really what you're about but, own it a little. you definitely did during our date, that was probably the sexiest I had seen you ever." Alizeh said hoping the words had some sort of impact on Cheyenne.

The Native American girl looked a bit alarmed at how confidently Alizeh was saying she was sexy. To the point that she would have objected if Midori didn't hold a hand up for her to let her speak. Cheyenne paused, knitting her mouth tight as she considered what she was saying. Her brow narrowed in thought with each passing explanation, eyes moving from side to side. She had always thought that her general stoic nature was a drawback for her--an indication that she was rather stand-offish and not indicative of any attractiveness.

But Alizeh had said that this was precisely what made her stand out, which Black Rock absolutely did not expect as her eyes drifted away from Midori as she thought about it. "...I see," said Cheyenne simply. But it seemed more out of lack of anything else on her mind now, that she was a bit stunned from the response.

After a few more moments, Cheyenne visibly tensed a little bit more. "...I always thought that was why... people did not like me as much as others, like Deanna. That I'm just... boring," admitted Black Rock, closing her eyes as she thought for a few more moments. "I have always thought that my personality and how I carried myself scared people. I'm not sure... what to really think, Alizeh," concluded Cheyenne, looking back to her friend, equal parts confused and concerned now, but hoping Midori had more wisdom for her.

Laying out her reasons for why Cheyenne was indeed sexy Alizeh could tell that she was having a hard time swallowing the idea and she couldn't blame the woman. Just based on what she knew of her Alizeh knew that she had a not great opinion of her own personality and how surface level standoffish she could be. As she began to speak Alizeh nodded, her suspicions being confirmed by that with a nod of understanding for Cheyenne.

Leaning forward and a bit and bridging her fingers together Alizeh would purse her lips as she thought of the right words. "Well... sometimes beauty and confidence can be scary. It can make you hard to read, but it doesn't make you boring." Alizeh said seriously before reaching over and grasping Cheyenne's hand, giving it a squeeze to make her look up at her.

"Its ok to take time to think about it... But I think if you were to open by doing this.. you might actually enjoy it, you may even loosen up from it.. Which would only help you even more you know?" Alizeh said giving another squeeze of her hand before smiling gently at Black Rock. "I'll even be right there with you to support you and make sure you're comfortable." Alizeh offered without a second though.

Cheyenne's brow raised when Alizeh had explained it simply: she might not have been boring. Just a little intimidating, and maybe hard to read. The Native American considered that, her attention being grabbed by the squeeze of her hand as she looked at Midori. She canted her head, thinking that maybe Alizeh did have the right of it. Maybe she was difficult to read sometimes. Of course, while she pondered on that, her expression was quite impassive, and very difficult for Alizeh to even notice if her point had hit home with Cheyenne.

But then Cheyenne would smile when Alizeh encouraged Black Rock to just give it a try, promising to support her. Alizeh was a very good friend, and the Native American nodded slightly. "Perhaps..." said Cheyenne thoughtfully. She truly had no idea how to go about it though. "How does one... model, then? Do you just pose...? I do not even know what makes a good pose," admitted Black Rock, thinking on that. Alizeh certainly seemed like someone who might have a better idea of it than her, at least.

Alizeh did her best to frame her argument in a way that would make sense to the usually logical Cheyenne. But it was also fairly clear she was a bit insecure as well making this tricky water to navigate. Luckily she seemed to have done a decent job at it since Cheyenne actually seemed to be coming around to the idea! Seeing the smile cross Cheyenne's face made one sprout on Alizeh's as well before chuckling a bit at what she asked about modeling.

"Hehe, it's actually really easy. The photographer will usually tell you what poses to strike so you don't have to worry too much there, and since you've never done it before they'd probably make it even easier for you. Basically just like a game of simon says." Alizeh said easily with a nod. If there was one way easy way to get Cheyenne's feet wet with this sorta thing, it was definitely modeling.

Alizeh seemed happy to have gotten a breakthrough with Cheyenne, which also eased the Native American's nerves a bit as well. She nodded slowly as she listened to Midori. It certainly had to be more difficult than she was presenting. At least, with Cheyenne's limited knowledge of it, that seemed like the case.

She could have Alizeh prove as much though, in practice. "I am... skeptical," stated Black Rock, facing her friend, brow narrowed. "Present me with instruction, then. Like they would. And I will try," offered Cheyenne. An opportunity for the green-haired girl to prove her case, and an opportunity for Cheyenne to get comfortable with the idea of it.

Thus far it seemed like Alizeh was actually making decent headway in getting Cheyenne to.. possibly accept the offer from LAW, her explanation of things seeming to have worked in making her feel more at ease about things and making her comfortable. It was nice to see in all honesty, seeing her so relaxed compared to just a few moments ago when she seemed like she had the weight of the world on her.

Then Cheyenne asked for a... live example. Blinking and thinking for a moment Alizeh would hum in thought before snapping her fingers and nodding. "Hmm ok ahem." She said before clearing her throat and sitting back, looking at Cheyenne with a faux serious look before continuing.

"Miss Blackrock. Lean back and cross your arms under your chest, and look at the camera with a slight tilt of the head. Give us your best smoldering look as well if you can." Alizeh said in a slightly over dramatic version of a photographer voice while lobbing an admittedly soft ball pose at Cheyenne. But it would work for what she needed here.
