With every punch that landed, Kayla's head was being thrown this way and that, her body rocked by the momentum of every strike. The bruises and the red imprints of Handa's knuckles had colored her face black and blue. But with that, her face was starting to grow numb, dulling the pain of every strike that Handa got in. Coupled with the fact that Handa's punches were slowing down as fatigue set in, Kayla was beginning to see her opening. And soon enough, she was able to grab her opponent by the hand - just in time to lash out with a fist of her own!

Handa was thrown back, leaving Kayla panted for breath. Slowly, the Californian pushed herself back up onto her knees, shaking the cobwebs out of her head. She brought her hand up to wipe her lip as she felt a trickle of blood running down her chin. It was less than ideal that Handa had scrambled back from her before she could take advantage of her favorable position, but at least she wasn't beating Kayla's face into a pulp any more. She was ready to push her way back up and strike back...

Right when Handa started laughing at her. At first, Kayla gasped in shock - if the redhead was still able to laugh through the pain of the punch she landed, how tough did she have to be? But when she continued, the wide-eyed gape on Kayla's face turned into a snarl of rage. She wasn't just laughing it off. She was taunting her - she was berating everything she'd ever done, and acting like it meant nothing! When she took such pride in her athletic ability, Kayla couldn't stand for that! Ordinarily, she was a strategic thinker. She had been taught about watching for openings and setting up advantages ever since high school, and she wasn't one to charge blindly into danger. She should well have known the risks. But if Handa was going to talk shit about her like this...she had gone too far!

"Why, you..!" No matter how sore she might have been, Kayla fought through the pain, jumping back up to her feet. Setting the matter straight was more important! Ash tried to call out to her from the sidelines - even she could see what Handa was trying to do. "KAY! WAIT! She's trying to get you mad-!" But Kayla didn't hear it - she was about to whip another punch straight toward Handa's gut!

"Let's see how hard THIS lands, then-!!"

It would seem like the redhead actually got under Kayla’s skin. She took her rage as a way to counter her as she taunted her some more, telling her to take her best shot. This was all a ruse to what Handa was actually gonna do.

As Kayla was coming at her, she took a quick glance at Fuse, to which she saw her pointing at her mouth. She gave her older sister a quick nod before she saw Kayla trying to punch her in the gut. She would somewhat take the punch as it did hurt the red headed Japanese woman but this wasn’t her priority. After taking the punch, she grabbed onto Kayla’s arm and lifted it up. Handa then laid a bite mark onto Kayla’s bicep. She wanted to hear her opponent scream in pain to her delight.

Handa then moved onto the collarbone and also applied a bite mark to it before running into the corner and making Kayla crash into it before letting go. Fuse then tagged herself in and entered the ropes. Handa then dropped onto the floor before Fuse gave a chop to Kayla’s back.

If she had a choice in the matter, Kayla tried to keep things professional and above board. She wanted to succeed by her own merits, and she viewed wrestling in its ideal form as a contest between two people who were both striving to bring the most out of their bodies, leaving it up to who the better wrestler was to determine who would win. She tried not to let emotions get in the way. But she had a lot of pride, too. When her luck seemed to fail her at every turn, her patience was slowly but surely wearing thin. And when Handa started goading her into charging in blindly, Kayla was so consumed with rage that she didn't even pay any heed to the danger - not until it was too late.

Kayla's fist slammed into Handa's gut, and she smirked to herself with the satisfaction of a job well done. After all the abuse she'd taken from the redhead, it was almost too satisfying to shut her up. But she didn't even question the fact that Handa had let herself take that punch - at least, not until Handa made the next move. Just then, she grabbed Kayla by the arm and pulled her closer. At first, the Californian thought she was only trying to pull her off-balance, but she was about to find out how wrong she was - as Handa bit down into Kayla's bicep!

"GYAAAAHH!!" Kayla cried out in pain, throwing her head back in an arc as she reeled away from Handa. The fans started booing the Kiyoko Sisters for their brutal tactics, but it wasn't going to slow Handa down, as she bit Kayla again, this time in the collarbone! Every time her teeth came down against her skin, Kayla wailed in agony, twisting and turning and trying to pull away. It felt like she was on fire; she couldn't even think straight enough to scold Handa over her cheating ways. The referee, at last, stepped in to try and issue a warning, but by that point, Handa had already charged across the ring, ramming Kayla against the corner at top speeds!

As she struck the corner post, Kayla let out another cry. Her feet kicked out in the air, and she dropped straight down. Her head was still spinning, and she panted and gasped for air, but Fuse was quick to strike out, landing a chop across her back. The thwack of skin hitting skin rang through the air, and Kayla was thrown off balance, going toppling over onto her face in a heap.

The whole while, Ash was watching all of this unfold. And it was at that moment, Ash realized, that she had seen enough! She might have thought Fuse was a major hottie, but even she couldn't let that get in the way - she had to stand up for her partner! Grabbing onto the ropes to push herself up straighter, her eyes narrowed into a glare. "Hold on, Kay, I'm coming-!" she shouted to herself, as she jumped through the ropes and came running toward Fuse, looking to throw herself toward her and slam her back against the corner post as she rammed into her with a spear! She wasn't the legal woman for the SoCal Connection, but that meant nothing to her now!

Fuse would be preoccupied with applying more pain to Kayla as she picked her back up and laid her on the turnbuckle. She then heard Ash scream out to help her partner and felt the ring rope shake. She would look at Handa and tell her something.

Fuse: 「半田さん。この突進するアメリカ人に対処してください。」(“Handa. Deal with this charging American.”)

Handa nodded and would get in the ring to start charging at Ash charging at Fuse. Both Ash and Handa then crashed into each other with both falling out of the ring. Fuse nodded before seeing that Kayla escaped from the corner. She then turned around and see where Kayla went.

Ash had had enough. If the Kiyoko Sisters were going to push her friend around like this, there was only so much she could tolerate before her patience wore thin. She couldn't stand by and watch Kayla be brutalized any more - if it was up to her to save the day, she thought, that was how it was going to be! She'd made up her mind before she even had time to think things through. In a flash, the redhead went charging straight across the ring before flinging herself toward Fuse, ready to tackle her. But she was already midway through her lunge when she realized she was making the same blunder Kayla had in throwing herself into the action where her opponents could so easily turn that momentum against her - and alas, by the time that realization hit her, it was already too late. Handa jumped into the ring, and when Ashley looked up, it was she who was right in front of her - and they were about to crash!

Before she had a moment to respond, the two redheads collided with each other. A flash of white filled Ashley's eyes, and a sharp pain shot through her skull as she crashed face-first into Handa; she could barely see what she was doing even as she kicked, grasped, and slapped at whatever she could find, whipped into a tangle of flailing limbs. She and Handa went rolling out under the ropes and onto the floor below, with Ash on the bottom, but that didn't stop her one bit - with one hand, she rained down slaps over Handa's back, while her other shoved at her shoulder to try and push her off. "Hey!! Get off of me, stupid! Kayla needs my help!"

It did seem like Ashley's disruption had done something for her team, though. Fuse had taken her attention off of Kayla in those few seconds, and that was all the Californian middleweight needed to slip out of her clutches. She rolled back through the ropes and onto the apron, where she doubled over forward and rubbed at her temples with a groan. Not only was she still sore from where it hurt, she was less than impressed that her partner had gotten so carried away, and sparked even more chaos. "Dammit, Ash..." she muttered, to no one in particular. Still, she had an opportunity in front of her, and she wouldn't let it go to waste. A defiant look crossed her face as she stood up straight and turnd around to face the ring. If that had been what it took to get Fuse off her case, she wouldn't complain - nor would she complain about having an opening to strike!

When Fuse looked back, it would be to see Kayla climbing up onto the middle rope, looming high above her! Moments later, with a battle cry, she jumped off the ropes to slam a flying knee right into Fuse's sternum! The altitude and the momentum could only make sure she hit even harder, and she would take anything she needed to turn the tables back around!

Fuse didn’t expect Handa to crash into Ashley. Back in their debut before joining LAW, the sisters did this routine where when one of the other opponents went to attack Fuse from behind, Handa would slide in a cross check them, protecting Fuse. However, it was possibly botched as Handa didn’t actually fully cross check Ashley. That would be the thing that caught Fuse off guard.

Meanwhile, Handa knew she fucked up their thing as Ashley fought back and started a scuffle all the way down to the floor. She was pretty rocked when she fell on top of Ashley but she would be alright. It would take Handa a few minutes to get back up but right now, she was on the floor, in pain. Both sisters would be talking to each other while Kayla slipped behind them and regrouped with Ashley.

Fuse: 「どうしたの、半田?私の安全なところから誰かにタックルする方法を忘れましたか?」(“What the hell happened, Handa? Did you forget how to tackle someone out of my safety?”)

Handa: 「つまずいて墜落したんだよ、ヒューズ。試合に集中してください。」(“I just tripped and crashed, Fuse. Focus on the match.”)

Fuse: "大丈夫。" (“Fine.”) Fuse then looked down and saw that Kayla escaped. 「それで、このアメリカ人はどこへ行ったのですか?」(“Now where did this American go?”)

As Fuse turned around, she would see Kayla on the middle rope. She would try and stop her but she then saw Kayla fly in the air before getting a huge flying knee to the sternum. Fuse fell over and held her sternum in pain. If this wasn’t the biggest lifeline the SoCal Connection received, then this was their moment to turn the tide of battle against the wild Kiyoko Sisters.

With Ash and Handa crashing into one another, the two girls went down hard, kicking and punching and shoving at whatever they could as they struggled for dominance. Even as they went tumbling out of the ring and onto the floor below, they remained in a tangle of limbs. For Ashley, the struggle just might have been more pitched than the actual match itself - she was standing up for her best friend, and she wasn't going to let Handa get in the way of what was supposed to be their big comeback! All of those thoughts and emotions were running wild through her head as she threw everything she could at Handa, and the rest of the world fell away in the heat of her passion. And, in the end, she was able to shove Handa off of her, letting the Japanese woman return to her corner.

Ash panted for breath, her hair askew and her face red and slick with sweat as she rose to a seated position. She, too, would need some time to catch her breath after that. But if anything could lift her spirits, it was what she saw happen next - when Kayla seized on the opening in front of her, slamming her knee right into Fuse's chest! All the momentum of her leap from the ropes was behind her, and as they came crashing into one another, it was channeled into an explosion of force, one that proved enough to take Fuse off her feet!

As though she was just as eager and ready to go as ever, Ashley's face lit up with an eager grin, and she jumped back up and threw her fist in the air in celebration. "YEAAAAHH!! You go, Kay! Kick her ASS!" Kayla had landed on the mat on top of Fuse, propping herself up on her hands and knees. She blew a stray strand of hair out of her face, rolling her eyes to the background noise. But...at the same time, she couldn't help but smirk a little herself. After all, she was turning things around, and it was about time too!

Now that Fuse was down, Kayla was going to direct her attention toward working at her stamina with her submission holds, in the hopes of hampering her chances of making a comeback. She quickly scrambled off of Fuse, getting beside her on the mat, where she would throw her legs around one of her arms, crossing them around her bicep. There, her teeth clenched as she drew on all the force she could, squeezing down with all her muscles to apply a figure four armlock!

Fuse would be dazed a bit after that hold. She needed a plan to get momentum back on her side. It would have to wait however as she saw Kayla place her into a figure four armlock. She started squirming around in pain while she tried to get out of the hold.

「ああ、神様!それは痛い!とても痛いです!(“Oh god! It hurts! It hurts so much!”)

Fuse really needed a lifeline to get out of the hold. She then realized that she was a Kiyoko Sister as she looked where her arm was placed in the hold. Bingo. The perfect place to showcase Fuse’s own cheating.

Fuse started to rub the back of her hand onto Kayla’s crotch. This would catch the Californian girl off guard as Fuse had a delicate touch to her action. Both the Kiyoko Sisters had a theme to their team. Handa is considered to be the physical abuse the Sisters give to opponents, with Handa dishing out merciless attacks, while Fuse was the more mental and emotional abuse the Sisters give to opponents, with Fuse playing to their opponent’s feelings and riling up both their anger and lust.

Even as she got down into position and twisted Fuse's arm into her grasp, Kayla wasn't looking smug or satisfied. Instead, her eyes were narrowed and her brow furrowed in a glare of pure anger! She had suffered at the hands of the Kiyoko Sisters for too long, allowing them to make a fool of her and baiting her into tricks she knew that a wrestler of her caliber had no right falling for. Not only did Kayla run the risk of losing this match, she also had her dignity at stake, with the Sisters almost shattering her reputation in front of the whole world. Now that Fuse was finally at her mercy, Kayla wasn't going to hold back. And she had a lot she needed to take care of before she could put the issue to rest.

"Nngh..." Growling under her breath to draw on as much force as she could, Kayla squeezed her legs even tighter around her opponent's arm, while at the same time tugging it toward herself to stretch her shoulder and bicep. She had already gotten her to cry out in pain; that was a step in the right direction. If she was hurting Fuse, she could carry things through to the finish! At least, she thought as much. But Fuse's next action was one that even Kayla's high school wrestling career couldn't have prepared her for.

Lost in her own thoughts, Kayla wasn't paying much attention to what her opponent was doing. But when she felt the back of her hand brush up ever so slightly between her legs, that was enough to stir something in the brunette. Suddenly, a tingle shot up her spine, and her legs clenched together out of reflex as her body locked up. At once, everything stopped - all she could direct her attention to was what she'd just felt. "H-Huh..!? Hey, what are you doing-!?" she blurted out, her face growing red. She clenched her teeth from the shame. Kayla had always been proud of her strength and her skill in wrestling - this, she knew, was just another one of Fuse's psychological tactics. If she could call Kayla's control of her own body into question, and make her slip up, she would be whittling down the Californian's pride! What kind of a wrestler would she be if she let herself get distracted like this?

No one she wanted to be, that was for sure - and Kayla reminded herself as much. She was better than this! Sucking a breath in through her clenched teeth to steel herself, she arched her back over some more, pulling even harder at Fuse's arm! She knew she needed to pay her back for her tricks! All the same, she had eased up with her legs in the heat of the moment. And right now, Kayla hadn't noticed that fact. But had Fuse?

Fuse would continue to rub Kayla’s womanhood to make her let go. This was pretty much her tactic of getting out as in her past, this basically worked on all of her opponents that went for arm bars against her. However, it seemed like this was turning into a battle of who’ll break first.

Fuse: 「神様、あなたには壊れてほしいのです。これは私にとってとても苦痛であり、彼女が私の腕を骨折しない限り、これを続けることはできないと思います。」(“God I need you to break. This is hurting me too much and I don’t think I can continue doing this without her breaking my arm.”) Fuse would be saying that in her head but her facial expressions revealed what she was thinking.

Meanwhile, Handa regained consciousness. She got up and watched what was going on in the ring. Handa saw that Fuse’s rubbing tactic is starting to fail her and she could see it in her older sister’s eyes. Once she realized that Fuse might tap out, Handa would quickly slide into the ring and would deliver a punt to Kayla’s head, making her break up the hold.
