Post Match Meeting

JJ paused for a moment. She knew that he obviously had other women interested in him and she knew she likely had no real shot. "I guess I was interested if you wanted to do something or meet up away from the ring." JJ said before continuing. "If you want a rematch I am always down for that but if you wanted to meet up and do something not wrestling related that would be pretty great too." JJ said hoping that both options seemed to be of interest to the good looking man standing in front of her.

For the first time, Kyo got a sense of how nervous and uncertain JJ was. It was oddly reassuring: as nonchalant as he was right now, he was actually feeling incredibly nervous about this encounter, especially given how he had very nearly ruined things a few seconds ago. As much as he was trying not to show it, right now he was beyond excited that this buff American beauty was interested in him, that she hadn't just been teasing him back in the ring.

"W-well," he said, awkwardly rubbing his forehead and doing his best to keep a stammer out of his voice, "I have no plans this week, so if you want to catch dinner and drinks...or maybe go do bowling or karaoke or..." he realized at that moment that he was rambling, and made a mental note to stop, "then I would be happy to!"

JJ smiled not even hiding how happy she was to hear that. Was he being nice or was there interest there? She was happy either way as he was quite attractive and not a creep, a rarity for the men who spent much of their time in a womens wrestling promotion. "That would be amazing! You just name the time and place, I will be there." JJ said giving Kyo a wink and grin. She would be calling Sienna with this news as soon as she could that was for sure. n

Damn it, but JJ's smile was really disarming, Kyo thought to himself. That same happy grin and playful wink that had got under his guard back in the ring was having the same effect outside of it. And this time, with no fight to focus on, Kyo had no reason to resist, so instead he simply smiled back and tried to be as charming as he could.

"Fantastic," he said. "Because I happen to know a great bowling alley not far from here." He tried to ignore the fact that he was terrible at bowling: honestly, the things he was good at-- calligraphy, kendo, and plenty of exercise-- were hardly date material. It was at this thought that he realized, again, that he was about to go on a date with this extremely attractive American girl he had tussled with not long ago, and tried to maintain his focus. "Um...and after that...there is a karaoke bar next to it! How's all of that sound? I'll...um...maybe text you the location?"

He realized, ruefully, that if Makie were there right now, she'd no doubt be laughing her butt off over how nervously awkward he was.

JJ smiled and clearly showed how happy she was with the grin on her face. "That would be great! Yeah, here's my number...." JJ said exchanging contact information with Kyo. "I think it sounds like a lot of fun, I can't wait!" JJ excitedly added. She really needed to freshen up after that match, doubly so now. "You just tell me what time to be there and I will be there." JJ said as she was going to excitedly text Sienna as soon as she got around the corner to fill her in on what just happened.
