Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]

So far Julia had been able to fight back against a much more experienced oponent, but Aella was showing how a veteran could adapt and overcome any situation by getting the upper hand. The Fujiwara armbar Julia was being subjected to was a threatening move with the power to mess her arm real bad for the rest of the match, and not being able to escape it was a bad sign! But instead of going for a full on move and to ruin Julia’s arm, Aella decided to make a better show, so after some damage that made a dent in Julia’s defenses the green-haired veteran dragged the Italian back on her feet for some follow-up.

With nimble moves Aella transitioned into a suplex move and before Julia could even notice it she was upside down and going against the mat. However, the Italian made her best to take the least damage possible and recover as quick as she could. Her first objective was to deny the chance for a pin after the move, so just instants after hitting the mat with her back Julia would jerk her whole body to be released by her rival with the intention of rolling backwards and get some space if released. What Julia needed desperatedly was a reset in the match and if she got enough space she could regain some of her breath and come back at Aella.

Smirking softly as she forced Julia to her feet Aella briefly wondered how the girl would respond as Aella tossed herself backwards, suplexing the brunette down into the mat with a painful suplex to hopefully knock some gears loose from the woman. Something was knocked loose alright from the impact, but it wasn't anything from Julia, but rather the woman's whole body rolling away from Aella after the suplex landed.

'Smart.' Aella thought to herself as she got back up to her feet and watched as Julia did the same, waiting for the Italian girl to get up, knowing that would be first thing on the girl's mind. Then as soon as the girl was up to her feet Aella would dart towards her, raising her leg up and pushing her foot out to try and drive her foot forward with a high scissor kick aimed to smash into Julia's shoulder and upper arm, the same area that Aella had targeted before with the armbar..

Julia was doing her best to recover from a complicated situation. Her debut had started in a very dynamic and even a back and forth way, but for the last instants it looked like the advantage was leaning towards Aella. In the end experience was a valuable asset and the veteran was showing how just that gave her some edge to use against the debutant.

From the suplex position Julia managed to roll off and gain some distance to try and recover. From there the most logical step would be to get up and come back at Aella. Of course the veteran was ready for that and not only that but she was going to anticipate her moves and strike with a powerful scissors kick aimed precisely at the arm that was damaged in the submission hold before. The debutant had some idea though: she would take the hit, but from there she would try to catch Aella’s leg and try to use that to topple the veteran.

Aella would smirk slightly at her opponent as she watched the girl get back up. She was always a fan of testing her foes, especially the younger ones, and with this being Julia's first match in LAW, she couldn't deny a level of... maternal interest here. For now though Aella would continue to push Julia and see just what the girl was capable of doing.

So seeing the Italian come back in with her arm raised Aella would respond in kind, raising her leg up and kicking the arm aside to deal some extra damage! However Julia did manage to catch her leg in the process! Eyes widening at this Aella wasn't prepared for this as she was pushed and knocked onto her back with a grunt! "Ngh!" Aella grunted out as she rolled back with the momentum to get to try and get back up to her feet, but this would give a opening to her opponent!

Julia had taken a daring approach when she decided to get hit by Aella but use that against her, but it proved to work wonders for the Italian. Yes, she would be taking some damage with the veteran's kick, but she would capitalize on her precarious balance to mess with her remaining leg and topple her.

One thing Julia wasn't expecting though was for Aella to quickly roll and recover. The Italian was expecting for some window of opportunity in which she could transition into some other move but it seemed she had misjudged Aella's skill. If she wanted to go for cooler moves Julia would have to soften her rival before. Luckily for her there was still some room to make a move, so Julia would use her rival still getting back on her feet to receive her with a lariat!

Throwing a kick at Julia's arm had been successful, continuing Aella's strategy to target the limb relentlessly in order to make an eventual submission attempt easier to lock in. What she hadn't been expecting was for the girl to use taking the hit to her advantage to try and turn things around on Aella to knock her down! 'A bit reckless, but can't deny its effectiveness to an extent.' Aella thought to herself as she rolled back and got to her feet.

After all caught by surprise or not, Aella was still quite skilled and adept at moving, so getting back up from a simple knockdown was fairly easy for her. As she did so however, she didn't take into account the fact that her opponent would sit back and do nothing as she got to her feet. "Ugh!" Aella yelled out in pain as Julia's arm rammed into her chest, knocking her right back down to her back, but this time not getting back up anytime soon as she immediately clutched her chest with a wince.

Julia still had a lot to get used to about the pro-wrestling scenario, but there was something the Sensazione had thought of and it was letting her instincts loose. She wouldn’t overthink stuff concerning strategy and instead she would go for whatever her gut told her. And it told her that a veteran like Aella would surely recover quickly after a simple and low impact move, hence the following lariat that got Aella on the mat for good, this time clutching her chest area with a wince while she wasn’t capable of getting up that quickly.

Knowing that it was her chance to capitalize on her rival’s downed state and to show some of her resourcefullness, Julia reassured herself before going for what came first to her mind. She would race against the ropes to gain momentum and speed that would surely add some punch to the running legdrop she was going to attempt!

Aella groaned and winced in pain slightly as she tried to sit up, holding her chest as she did so. Holding the advantage for a good chunk of the early goings of this match had lead to her getting a tad overconfident, and now Julia was making her pay for it with those consecutive attacks. As she sat up thought Aella would look up only for her eyes to widen slightly seeing Julia coming right back at her, this time in the air with her leg out! 'Crap!' Aella thought to herself before getting flattened back down to the mat while Julia's leg crashed against her chest in painful fashion! "Aghhh!" Aella crid out in pain, legs shooting up in the air with a groan of pain as she laid under Julia's limb.

Julia smiled confidently as she was surprised by the events unfolding in front of her. Not only was she holding her ground in the middle of her debut against a much more experienced wrestler, she was pressing on! Some part of her was expecting Aella to just evade or get out of the way but her running legdrop move actually found its target and now Aella was on the mat reeling in pain! Seeing this as an opportunity to show dominance and make a statement about what to expect of her, the debutant would hook one of Aella’s legs as it looked like the veteran wasn’t going to get up soon. Julia didn’t expect this pinnin maneuver to end the match, but to put the pressure on Aella’s side, make ser see that this greenhorn means business.

Aella groaned and hissed in pain as she held her chest following the attacks from her opponent, knowing she was in a bad spot right now. A bad spot that her opponent seemed eager to turn to her advantage as she grabbed at Aella's leg, forcing her back before hooking her leg for a simple, yet effective pin. 'Damn it.' Aella thought as the ref dropped down, slapping the mat. "ONE!" They called which was all Aella needed to hear as she pushed herself up and pushed her leg forward out of Julia's grasp while turning over on her side with the force of the kick out, refusing to be pinned past the one count so early on!
