A night out with old friends interrupted (For SimplyWoo and ScylliasExoter)

As the two struggled with their surprisingly spicy tuna, a panicked Aurora ran to them with a pitcher of water and two glasses. ”Aaaa so sorry! I got distracted by talking wrestling. Here. Your drinks are being made at the bar. ¡Volveré!” She ran off to grab their drinks and came back with the mojito and apple cider. ”Here you go. Ay Dios mio, you picked the spiciest tuna here,” she laughed trying to break the awkward silence as Oscar and Tins recovered from their spicy tuna.

”Here, if you don’t mind me picking for you, this fatty tuna here is the best for white people. And here. I don’t what it’s called, but this roll here is crunchy and tasty… and mild.” she smiled at them nervously, clearly wanting to talk more about wrestling. But a familiar, unpleasant voice rang out in the restaurant that Oscar knew all too well.

“Hey, waitress! Where’s my soup and custom rolls?” The voice of Drake Benton was punctuated by snapping fingers.

Oscar bit into his sushi as well- finding out too late that he also picked a very spicy serving! Oscar coughed into his hand as tears pricked at the corner of his eyes, his entire face showing a faint shade of red as he quickly grabbed the water Aurora brought over and chugged as much as he could. Soon the Barbarian Prince's face relaxed as he took a deep breath and sighed with relief.

"Ugghh... haa... ahhh... er... thank you, Aurora. Sorry about that, Tina. That's on me"

A slightly embarrassed blush painted itself on Oscar’s face as he humbly bowed his head to the ladies as he apologized. He made a mental note to do something nice for Tina later on and to leave a generous tip for Aurora later. A familiar voice soon caught Oscar’s attention as her perked up and glanced over to an unpleasantly familiar voice.

"Oh no... you've got to be kidding me..."

Tina managed to smile as much as she was suffering as she accepted the water. "Gracias." she replied to Aurora as she filled her glass with the pitcher of water and after a few more coughs she took a few big thankful gulps of water herself as she set the glass down. "Woo...that was not
a good introduction to sushi." she managed to chuckle and waved a hand to Oscar. "Don't worry about it. I just hope that don't make hair grow on my chest." She joked as she then raised an eyebrow at Aurora's racial comment while commenting about the fatty tuna, but knew what she meant and for the most part, didn't care. "Oh cool, thank you." and then noticed Oscar seem to be stressed by someone and also heard some rude person asking for Aurora as she looked over at Oscar. "Seriously? Who the heck snaps their fingers for service these days?"

Upon realizing she was casually racist, Aurora went wide-eyed. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean-" She was caught off balance by Drake's yelling and awkwardly excused herself to take care of her other client. "Good evening, sir. How may I help you?"
"Where are my custom rolls and my soup? I've been waiting. Don't you know, I'm a big deal in Japanese wrestling?"
"Of course, sir. I'm sorry, we're pretty crowded tonight, but I'll go check on it for you."
"You better. This place's service is pretty lackluster. It'll affect your tip. And I got big money from a big match where I beat some dumb ginger nerd. You can take that to the bank, sweetie."
"There's no tipping here. We're paid a living wage..." replied Aurora, who then walked away to go check on Drake's order with gritted teeth.

After a time, the Latina told Drake his order was still coming. She then went back to Oscar and Tina with their alcoholic beverages and an irritated look on her face. "I'm sorry, it's been a roller coaster of a night. Were my sushi recommendations good? Can I get you all anything else?"

"Gingers are orange. I'm a redhead..."

Oscar grumbled upon hearing Drake, who definitely didn't seem to be keeping his voice down. His gaze would shift down towards the carpet in shame for a moment, his joy disappearing from sight before Aurora returned. He seemed to snap out of his sudden funk and managed a smile to the waitress.

"Oh uh- no. Sorry I um, haven't had the chance to try it yet"

The rookie heavyweight chuckled awkwardly and went to grab two plates of sushi passing through- being extra sure to grab the type Aurora recommended as he passed a plate to Tina.

"That guy over there. He's not giving you too much trouble, is he?"

Tina waved dismissively at Aurora when she attempted to apologize her as she smiled at her. She would have said it was ok, but noticed Aurora's attention turned towards Drake and also looked that way until she heard Oscar mutter under his breath and snickered a little bit. "Ginger can also be defined as a red head, but don't worry about it, you should embrace it. After all, it's also a spice." She mentioned as took the plate Oscar handed over to her. "Thank you spicy boy." She teased as she grinned and winked at him. She then grinned as Aurora returned with their alcoholic beverages. "I haven't tried it yet, but I will right now." She mentioned as she shoved the sushi into her mouth and then covered her mouth as she chewed it a little. She then gave an impressed expression and let out a "Mmmm!" and nodded her head approvingly of the recommendation. "That's really good!"

Aurora forced a smile at Oscar and Tina asking if she was okay. ”I’m good. I’m from Juarez so I can handle myself, especially with a mediocre man like that. But I appreciate it.” Aurora replied with a giggle. ”I’m glad you like it! I’d also try the sashimi. Great way to get a lot of fresh protein. Mix it with the house-made soy sauce. It’s great.” She waited a moment for them to stuff their faces and then asked. ”So what are your favorite moves and holds? I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours.”

Oscar glanced back up at Tina as she explained what a ginger actually was.

"Wait- really? Huh... alright, guess that explains quite a bit then! Thanks, Tina"

Oscar chuckled at the compliment, as well as being called a spicy boy. It pushed him a bit out of his slump as he dug into the food, perking him right up as his eyes widened with a delightful expression on his freckled face. The young lion did his best to listen to Aurora's sushi tips, but he was very occupied with destroying the sushi in front of him. When his mouth wasn't entirely stuffed with the fantastic blend of rice, fish, and seaweed, Oscar would take a moment to sip his water before answering Aurora.

"Favorite moves and holds? Off the top of my head, I'd have to say I have a lot of fun with all types of moves. I get a kick out of power moves for the most part though, especially bearhugs. I'm looking at exploring other kinds of styles though, like submission holds and eventually high-flying moves"

She grinned as she listened to Aurora's confidence as she then heard the next recommendation and nodded, making a note to try the Sashimi next time. After all, Tina didn't mind the food and this waitress was worth coming back for another visit. She then heard the question for favorite moves and pointed to Oscar when he was talking about bearhugs and waited for him to finish. "Definitely bearhugs, giving or receiving, though I would dare say I love being on the receiving end more." She giggled and then shrugged her shoulders. "I also love delivering suplexes and slams. What about you? Tell us your favorites." She mentioned as she rested her elbow on the table as she rested her hand on her cheek, interested to know more about the inspiring wrestler.

Aurora listened intently at Oscar and Tina talking about their favorite moves. She then replied, "You two certainly look like you give good bearhugs. Well as you can probably guess by my size, I give the best bearhugs," she giggled with a sarcastic tone. "No I'm a luchadora at heart. I'm all about aerial moves and strikes, though I have been working on my submission game for when I do get my opponents on the ground. Maybe we could teach-" Suddenly a whistle rang out in the restaurant followed by the familiar unpleasant jock voice calling out again.

[color=#80000BF]"Hey waiter! Waiter!"[/color] followed by more snapping of fingers. "I think my soup's up. My soup! It's right there on the counter. See it? Quit yer yapping and get me my soup!" Aurora groaned and rolled her eyes. "¡Vete al carajo!" she whispered under her breath. The Latina put on a forced smile at Oscar and Tina.
