A Beach Contest Of Rivals

"Oh? Yeah I can do that." Alaina said. This is where Alaina knew things went downhill for her. She did have an idea that may work though. At least she hoped it would work. The amazon went to change coming back out wearing a replica Wonder Woman costume that appeared exactly like the newest movies. Alaina struck a few poses flexing once more but adding a bit of a strut as she ran her hands through her hair while swaying her hips a bit. Alaina would run up to the crowd high fiving them and trying to look like a comic book hero in her walk, poses, and attitude.

After a few moments she returned to the stage and held out her arms taking in the cheers before stepping back to allow whomever was next to have their turn.

"Wonder Woman cosplay.... 6, 7 and 5 points." The judges said as Alaina stood there shaking her head with her hands on her hips.

"Are you kidding me? Six and Five from two of you? Try to be buff for a figure like this and portray a hero that is better than 18 points." Alaina said sounding disappointed about her score.

Astrid was convinced that when it came to physical fitness, she would easily have this in the bag. She was proud of her strength, and she had put a lot of effort into keeping herself in shape - it wasn't without good reason that she had earned the title of Heavyweight Champion, after all. Although Alaina was easily just as toned, and she had cemented herself as a worthy challenger to Astrid's belt, the Norsewoman was sure she had nothing to fear. When it was her turn to be called to the front, she took a step back, content enough to watch from the sidelines.

But when the judges called out with a straight row of 9s, it caught Astrid totally by surprise! She let out a gasp - while Alaina's physique was definitely impressive, she hadn't foreseen them all deeming it worthy of a near-perfect score! Perhaps it was that Astrid's curves balanced out her muscle mass more and hid some of her definition, or perhaps it was more impressive that Alaina had been able to maintain such a body in her age. Either way, it looked as though the first round passed to Alaina!

Clearing her throat, Astrid turned to face the Amazon as she returned to their ranks. "Congratulations!" she said, holding her hand out for Alaina to shake. "I must admit, I didn't see that one coming.." She did her best to stay upbeat; this was all just a little diversion between friends, she told herself. There was no use in holding a grudge. Yet she still bit at the inside of her cheek as she looked back at Alaina. No matter what she told herself - there would still be Kat around to keep her in check; there was a difference between physique and what you could actually do with it - Astrid still couldn't help but let her thoughts linger on what she'd seen. It threw her confidence into question. If Alaina could beat her at a contest of bodies, how would she do against her in the ring?

Regardless, there was no time to ponder such things when the next round of the contest was underway. Astrid looked back at Nashi as she announced the cosplay event, and she nodded her head. "Cosplay, hmm? Well, I'm going to at least give it a try." Astrid had never partaken in cosplay much before, but when she heard that this would be part of the contest, she'd decided to pack accordingly. After Alaina came off the stage, it was Astrid's turn to make her first big foray into the cosplay world.

When Astrid tooked to the stage, she was dressed as a female version of the iconic Dovahkiin from Skyrim, complete with a horned helmet - one that she needed to reposition on her head in order to see out of the eye holes as she took to the stage. Nonetheless, she struck a pose, her hands on her hips as she stared out toward the crowd and puffed out her chest. The judges murmured a few words to each other before they came forth with the scores - 5, 4, and 4 points, for a total of 13.

Astrid huffed, grumbling a little to herself as she took off her helmet. Perhaps it was too obvious of an idea, or perhaps it wasn't timely when she was cosplaying a character from a game more than a decade old. But she had still fallen behind Alaina - and now it was Nashi's turn to take the stage, in a round she seemed to have the clear advantage in. For as much as Astrid told herself this wasn't anything important, she still had a competitive streak that could be hard to keep in check. And now, that competitive streak was making her ask herself if she was falling behind...

Nashi wasn’t in the highest of spirits. She knew she wouldn’t compete well in a contest of fitness. While she did have a great body, in terms of muscle she couldn’t compare. What did make her feel better was that was that the next round was cosplay! Nashi always loved dressing up, her and Yukino adored Halloween, since they would always were matching outfits. Even as an Idol they would do cosplay shows, mostly as Sailor guardians since they fit like a glove.

When it was Alaina’s turned she clapped for her mentor. When the scores were revealed she said”don’t worry you’ll always be the best superhero in my opinion” She smiled warmly as it was Astrid’s turn. Nashi clapped and even when she got a lower score she said”cheer up you fit that outfit perfectly, it could work for a ring entrance” She said wanting to give Astrid advice for a future match. Finally it was her turn and just in a flash, Nashi dashed to the tent to change her outfit.


She came back and once she was behind the curtain she shouted”MOON PRISM POWER!!! MAKE UP!!!” She shouted as she pulled back the curtain reveal she was wearing a Sailor Venus cosplay.

The idol would come out and even had a yellow skirt and tie. As she walked forward, once she got to the center, she would put one foot in front of the other and stand on her tippy toes. She would point directly at the judges with one arm above the other as if she was about fire

“I am Sailor Venus, and in the name of Venus I shall punish you, with the power of love!” She said clearly her heart was beating 5 times a second. The idol was a die hard Sailor Moon fan ever since she was a kid and eagerly awaited the new movie.
The judges gave their scores…. 7,7 and….
8 giving her a total of 22/30 “Yay!” She jumped for joy before turning to her fellow competitors and bowed in respect.

“Alright the scores are Alaina leading with 5, Nashi with 4 and Astrid with 3…. Now this last one is for all the marbles, we’re going back to bikini’s ladies but you get to do 3 poses of your choosing, so Nashi care to start us off?”


“Absolutely ma’am!” She shouted with pure excitement! Nashi would to go to the tent to change back into her pink bikini.

The pinklette Idol came back to the stage with a robe one. Nashi knew everything about modeling and knew the best way to start was with was with some teasing. She would slowly remove the robe and would drop it next to where she stood.


Nashi walked to the center starring at the judges seductively. For her first pose, the Idol would jump and spread her legs out, landing on the mat doing a perfect splits! When she landed her hair covered one of her eyes, but that didn’t matter, the crowd already loved it.

For her next pose she would get on her knees and lean forward, giving the crowd a clear shot of her busts as she put her arms under it and said”hope your enjoying the show” She said in a sweet tone that gave the boys hearts for eyes.

Finally it was the last pose, she had to make it count. The idol stood up, put one leg out to the to the left, and twerked her hip leaning the other way. From there Nashi put one arm behind her head to ruffle the back of her hair and ruffle it, while putting the other on her shoulder. For the piece of resistance she added “goodnight everyone” She winked as the crowd cheered.

It was time for her scores….. the first was a 9 and then…. 10 and 10! Leading with a bear perfect score of 29/30!!!

“I don’t know how we can top that, but whichever lady would like to go next is allowed!!” The announcer shouted into the mic as Nashi went grab her robe and go back in line with the others.

Alaina had clapped her hands and changed wearing a robe and standing by off to the side by the time Nashi had finished her routine. This was not at all in Alaina's usual wheelhouse. Fitness competition? She was totally comfortable with that. Dressing up as a character? She did it for charity events so this wasn't too different.

Just going out and trying to do traditional beauty pageant type stuff? This was not going to go well for Alaina. The amazon smiled and nodded to Nashi as she passed by her and stepped out taking her robe off, flinging it to the side as she wore a dark blue bikini. She began to strut around swaying her hips as she walked while running her hands through her hair. She resisted the urge to flex and show off her muscle, this wasn't about that. And that is a big reason she didn't have much confidence in herself for this. Alaina did strike a few poses, going the classic pinup girl route and doing a final strut around running her hands through her hair. She held her breath waiting to hear the scores...

"Seven, Seven....and seven. 21 points total." It was announced. Alaina waved to the crowd and walked back towards the others fully understanding she likely was set up for another last place showing given the beauty of the two much younger women. She also figured maybe she had a slight chance for second as Astrid was also a big, powerhouse of a woman but given the age of the newly wed Alaina was prepared for third.

Nashi tried to give Astrid some encouragement in complimenting her on her cosplay and saying she could use it for an entrance, but the Norsewoman could only nod her head in acknowledgment of her words - inside, there were far more things going through her mind. She couldn't believe she was thinking like this. She'd told herself multiple times - this was just for fun, it was for Nashi; whether she won or lost wouldn't matter. Then why was she getting this worked up? When she saw that she was going up not only against Nashi, a much newer presence in LAW who was only beginning to carve out a name for herself, and Alaina Sanders, her long-time rival, and she was falling behind the two of them, that couldn't help but weigh on her - she wanted to stay on top, and she wanted to keep herself as the number-one heavyweight in LAW. She knew her championship was in wrestling, and that she would have her skills in grappling and her physical prowess regardless of how she fared in a contest like this. She told herself that it was only natural that Nashi was going to win the cosplay contest, given that she had far more experience than either of her opponents. But no matter how much she tried to reassure herself, Astrid's competitive side was hard to silence. And now, it was telling her that if she was in last place, something was very wrong.

She took in a gulp when she heard the next round announced, and she glanced back and forth between the other two women. Nashi definitely had the more traditional bikini body between the three of them, and she seemed a shoe-in to win. At the same time, Astrid had beaten Alaina at such a contest before. Maybe there was still a chance she could take the lead. At least, there was still a chance she wouldn't have to settle for last place...

But as Nashi took the stage, Astrid still watched anxiously at every move she made. When she jumped down into the splits, she got a few cheers and claps from the fans even before she had gone through her other poses - Astrid had to concede her flexibility was impressive, but that wouldn't do much good when she had to compete against her. When she got a near-perfect score, Astrid could feel a chill sensation run through her body, leaving the hairs standing up on the back of her neck. She sucked in a breath, reminding herself this was ridiculous. She shouldn't get this concerned about a glorified beauty contest she was only entering as a favor to a friend. But Nashi had set a high bar to clear.

After Alaina took to the stage, it was up to Astrid. This would be the final round of the contest, and it was up to her to make everything count. The Norwegian turned her head up to the stage, her heart pounding with nervous anticipation. Then, she stepped forward. Like Alaina and Nashi, she had donned a robe, but now she slipped it off her shoulders to reveal a black bikini underneath - the sight won her a couple of cheers from the crowd already. First, Astrid placed her hands on her hips, standing with her feet apart and thrusting her chest out toward the crowd. Then, she raised both hands to her head to run her fingers through her hair, tossing her head back and cocking her hip to the side. Finally, she raised one arm to the sky and placed her other hand on her bicep, leaning over to the side to stretch her muscles. Each pose got her a few claps and cheers, and she smiled to the fans all the same - but she couldn't still all the questions that were running through her mind. Were their cheers louder than what Nashi had gotten She couldn't quite tell - but she could only hope.

At last, Astrid stepped back. The judges whispered between each other, deliberating their scores, and the whole time, Astrid's heart was racing. She sucked in a few breaths to try and calm her nerves, and she glanced back and forth at the other competitors, comparing their looks to her own as much as she could without drawing too much attention. Would it be enough, she asked herself?

Finally, it was time for the judges to speak up. "Astrid's scores are...9, 10, and...8. For a final score of 27/30!"

Astrid gulped. She'd come close to Nashi's score, definitely enough to take second place. But she still hadn't quite come far enough. And that meant...

The announcer had finish checking the final score of all three contestants and took center stage”Okay Ladies and Gentlemen the results are in!!!!!” The crowd cheered with eager anticipation”there is a podium right there for these ladies to take their spots” She announced pointing over to it before continuing her speech”Coming in Third Place with 5 points total is ASTRID OSTBERG!!!!!!” She announced into the microphone, as the heavyweight champion was stuck in dead last”Astrid if you would take your spot please” She gestured to the blonde Norwegian.

Third place. When she heard the announcer call it out, Astrid took in a gulp. That had all but confirmed it - both Alaina and Nashi were ahead of her in the runnings. Nashi, at least, was predictable enough - but Alaina was something she hadn't seen coming. Alaina, who struggled with her own body image by her own admission? Who Astrid had, however narrowly, beaten out before? She had a suspicion, when she heard the scores announced, that she wasn't faring as well in this competition as she might have liked to - but now, it was confirmed that Astrid was in last place.

She tried shaking the intrusive thoughts out of her head. She told herself that this was only a fun little wager between friends, with no bearing on her title or her standings in the League. But no matter how much she tried to remind herself of that, Astrid couldn't help but feel stung. She had always thrived on the thrill of winning success in every contest she applied herself to, striving her hardest to put forth the best of her potential. This might not have been her preferred form of competition, but it was a competition nonetheless, and it was one she'd managed to win in the past. But, evidently, she'd fallen short here. And not just that - she'd lost to two of her established rivals. Biting her cheek, Astrid could feel a blush rising in her face. If she'd let Nashi and Alaina get the better of her, she asked herself, was she really worthy of the place of honor she held? How could she expect to fare when she faced them next - which, in Alaina's case, was just around the corner?

Nevertheless, Astrid was going to accept the decision gracefully - it was the least she could do for a friend, and when she enjoyed the position she did as a representative of the company. She stood up a little straighter with a smile on her face, stepping forward to the stage. When she turned to face the fans, she waved to them, and she got a few cheers as the cameras flashed around her from every angle. No matter what the results were, she still had her following. That made her smile a little wider - yet, at the same time, when she looked back at Nashi and Alaina, she couldn't help but feel doubts creeping into the back of her mind...

Alaina was in shock, she fully expected to come in third in this. Both women were much younger than her and the 47 year old mom-wrestler felt outclassed. However as Astrid walked up her jaw dropped. She knew there was no way she got first but she wasn't last?!

"And second place......Alaina Sanders-Haines!" The announcer called out as Alaina walked up waving to the crowd taking her place up on the second place spot on the stand. Alaina clapped her hands and waved one last time before talking quietly to Astrid. "I think the judges felt sorry for me being older, there was no way I had you in third and me in second. You probably should be where I am." Alaina said quietly.

It was time for the results. Nashi had a huge gulp go down her throat. On one hand, she aced the last two completions, but on the other hand she still fell behind on the first one. When the announcer said that third place went to Astrid, the idol was genuinely shocked”Hey don’t worry you still knocked them dead with your looks” She gave a pat on the back to her heavyweight rival.

It was all down between the dragon, and the Amazon. She felt nervous behind belied, will this be her chance to finally beat Alaina at something? The announcer came out and said” ladies coming up next is Alaina Sander-Haines!, just note in terms of the overall scores, both Astrid and Alaina got 66/90. So we decided off of the points of who won and Alaina got 6/9 points, one more then Astrid

Nashi couldn’t believe it! This was it she finally won! As Alaina took her spot, Nashi was beginning to sob with anticipation. “Coming in first place, with 70/90 and a 7 points out 9 total, Please welcome… The Fire Dragon herself…. NASHI DRAGNEEL!!!”



The crowd erupted in cheers and applause! Nashi had to cover her mouth with tears rolling down, as this was her first achievement on law! She had to take a moment for all of this to sink in her. The idol let out a deep breathe and wiped away her tears.

She began to walk through the sand give high fives to her fellow competitors. Nashi stood on the top of the first place podium, she would wave and blow kissed to her fans with a smile on her face. While she was waving to the crowd the crew members came up with the award. Nashi would bend her body forward, and with a clear view of her bust, causing the crowd to be putty in her hands. She would reach down and put the sash around her waist, and was even given a crown like she was a princess.


The idol would gesture for a microphone, which they happily obliged. She held the microphone in her hand and began to speak clearly into the microphone”I know, that I’m new here, but just because I may have won, please give these two beautiful heavyweights the respect they deserve!” The crowd erupted into the cheers for the Amazon and the Norwegian champion. She took a second to continue”I would like to thank everyone for the support you’ve given the three of us, and as well supporting The Idol Dragons, and I win this award not just for me but also my tag partner as well!” The crowd continued to applaud her”finally I just wanna say this, We Are Law isn’t the only PPV I’ll be competing…. Since I won this competition I’m proud to announce I will be competing in Martial Law!” The crowd went wild as Nashi took a bow to the crowd.

Astrid blushed when she heard what Alaina had to say about her, but she shook her head nonetheless. She had to admit it, Alaina was still a beautiful woman even at her age, and she didn't want her to feel like she had to turn down an honor she had certainly earned. "No, no...believe me, you won second place fair and square." At the same time, she bit her lip, and her gaze turned off toward the distance - as though she was unwilling to focus directly on Alaina, lest it stir up any unwelcome thoughts. She wanted to be happy for her. This contest didn't mean anything, and it was something Alaina could be happy about. For as much as she and Alaina competed for the belt, Astrid still looked to the Amazon as a friend - and as someone who had been an inspiration for her from a young age, to whom she owed her success. She wanted her to be happy. So why did she feel so jealous now?

Even Nashi was reassuring her. And as much as Astrid wanted to accept that from her...she still couldn't help but look down when she thought of what she'd seen. Nashi had beaten her. Alaina had beaten her. She still had her physical strength and wrestling prowess, and those things were still uncontested, but...now that she knew her rivals had still beaten her in a contest, Astrid couldn't help but feel like she'd let everyone down. Perhaps most importantly, in letting herself lose, she'd let herself down. She did smile a little when she had heard she had tied with Alaina, and that it was only by one point that the Amazon had overcome her in the end. That meant the two of them were still on equal footing. But Nashi was still the clear winner - and that meant Astrid had to concede she'd come in lagging behind someone she'd faced before, no matter in what regard.

She would still be a good sport about it - she still clapped for Nashi, and she accepted the cheers of the crowd, too. At least they were eager to see her, and at least they were willing to cheer her for what she'd done. They'd still see her as the champion she was. But it wasn't about what the fans thought - for Astrid, this was a personal matter. And if she couldn't uphold the promises she'd made to herself, it was a personal failing.

However, when Nashi proclaimed she would be joining the card at Martial LAW, Astrid raised an eyebrow - that news was enough to shake her out of her thoughts. She turned back toward Nashi with a curious eye. "Martial LAW, you say? I should hope you're prepared for it...if you need any training, I'd be happy to help!"
