Allen Riley vs. Helen Andronike - Clash of Styles

Holding Helen in the hammerlock, Allen would try to keep applying pressure into the hold in order to weaken her, but it seemed that Helen wasn't going to stay idle as she reached back and grabbed her head. Before she knew it, she was pulled into a side headlock, and she had to let go of the hammerlock as she tried to escape the hold.

But before she could do anything, Allen was then taken down onto the mat with a side headlock takeover. "NNGHHH!!" Allen grunted as she hit the mat. Still, she wasn't going to let her opponent keep her momentum as she would try to pull herself out of the hold, prying at Helen's arm even as she was still dealing with disorientation from being taken down onto the mat with the side headlock takeover.

Helen could feel Allen prying her arm off of her neck. Allen was getting to the point where she could slip out from her grasp. Knowing she couldn’t hold the headlock much longer, Helen decided to head her opponent off. She let go of the headlock early and jumped up to her feet. Helen then ran to the ropes, rebounded, and attempted to kick Allen in the face or chest before she could recover.

It seemed that Helen had decided to release Allen from the headlock, but as she recovered on the mat, she saw her opponent running towards the ropes before she returned back to her, hitting her with a kick to her chest.

"NGHHHH!!"

Allen was laid out on the mat, gasping in pain. Clutching her chest, it seemed that Helen had successfully dealt quite a tremendous damage on her, allowing her to continue with her momentum in this match.

Seeing Allen laid out, Helen decided to switch to submissions. Her intention being to soften Allen up for her chokehold finisher. She pulled Allen to a seated position, placed her knee on Allen’s back, and attempted to grab Allen’s arms and wrench them backwards in a double arm lock.

Still on the mat, Allen tried to recover, but Helen went to pull her up into a seated position before she put her into a hold where she pressed her knee against her back while grabbing her arms and wrenching them backwards. "AAHHHHHH!!!" Allen cried out as she was held in the hold. Shaking her head, she tried to ignore the pain, hoping that she could outlast it. Of course, she could only hope that her endurance wouldn't run out.

Helen kept wrenching Allen’s arms back, but the Brit was a fighter. Helen knew she couldn’t put her foe away with the double arm lock. She let go of the armlock and quickly slammed her fist down on Allen’s chest with a couple hammerfist blows. With Allen hopefully stunned, Helen pressed up against Allen’s back wrapped her arm around Allen’s neck, attempting to lock in a sleeper hold. While it wasn’t a full mounted choke, Helen hoped to wear her opponent down further.

Allen tried to endure the hold that she had been subjected into, crying out in pain all the while. And then, Helen decided to let go of the armlock, but instead of releasing Allen, she went ahead to hit her with a few blows of her fist right to her chest. "GAGHH!! AGHHH!! AAGGHHH!!" Those strikes had left Allen winded, which allowed Helen to put her into a sleeper hold.

"Haagghhhh... gaagghhhh..." Allen was trapped in the sleeper hold. For the time being, things seemed dire for Allen, though she refused to submit or tap out. Like before, she tried to outlast the hold, knowing that Helen couldn't maintain it forever, though she also knew that she would be left weakened afterward.

Helen maintained her vice-like grip on Allen, but the Brit held on. While she still couldn’t fully lock in body scissors, Helen adjusted herself to apply more pressure of her sleeper hold. She sat down behind Allen and snuggled up on her. Helen was then able to pull Allen back against her chest and crank her sleeper harder. The crowd watched with bated breath as the two women struggled against each other. After awhile, Helen felt Allen’s resistance weakening.

As the Brit began to fade, Helen whispered in her ear. You know, I watched you before I came to LAW. You made it all click for me that I could do this. That I should do this. Thank you for inspiring me to wrestle. And now, I’m going to put you to sleep.”

Helen felt Allen fade as she talked. The Brit went limp and slumped against Helen. The crowd’s anxious cries rang out the arena. The ref raised Allen’s hand and let go. Allen’s arm dropped limply by her side.

When Allen went limp in the hold, many thought that she was done. The referee went to check on her to see if she had passed out or not. At first, her arm fell limply after being held up. Then, the referee tried again. Also the same.

But at the third attempt, Allen suddenly stopped her hand from falling limply to her side. As if revived, Allen renewed her effort to break free, and this time, she would try to throw her fist at Helen's face. She was still weakened, but she seemed to have no intention to lose her, at least not from being knocked out like this.

Helen was exuberant when Allen went limp in her sleeper hold. She chuckled as Allen’s hand fell limply to her side twice. But on the third arm drop, Allen held her arm up. Coming alive again, Allen struggled to break free. She managed to turn around just enough to clock Helen in the face with her fist. Helen recoiled back from the blow, dropping her sleeper hold and momentarily stunned.
