"Katrina's right- you know that while that was the second time anyone's bearhugged me, that easily had to be the most intense one I've been given? Don't sell yourself short, Moria, you got a lot of potential with that hug of yours"

Oscar beamed as he complimented Moria before getting a big glass of rum, raising it high as he toasted with the ladies.

"Cheers!!"

A few sips into his rum, Oscar would chuckle at Katrina when she mentioned the extra food.

"Consider it noted. Next time I do a food run for you- consider your order of fries boosted to the next size up"

He stuck his tongue out at her before looking over and listening to Moria's story, looking quite invested before his eyes widen in awe towards the end.

"Sounds like you've lived a really exciting life... and the highland games! That's seriously cool..."

”I’m not very familiar with the food here. I trust your selection and I eat just about anything. And thanks! I guess I’d say I became a fighter because I lived in Cork and would go to bars he he he. The historical re-enacting, strength competitions, and fighting are my passions. The fighting paid more than the renaissance fairs, but there were a lot of boring day labor jobs in between to actually support meself. Reenactment led to D&D and larping since many of the Renaissance festival folk did that. I’m new to it but I love professional wrestling. I get to fight and wrestle and cut promos. It’s like combining my fighting passion with the theatrics of D&D and re-enacting all into one. I finally feel like I found something I belong in rather than working to find the occasional time for my passions.”

She smiled at Oscar’s compliment. ”Well thank ye! I’m working on it. Showed me training mate Helen how to do it in exchange for her helping me with sleepers. And thanks but I don’t want to get a big head from ye. I did well but the competitions were all local. I get to travel here and wrestle the best. I wonder if I’m good enough at times but am so thankful for the opportunity to be here!”

When their appetizers came they began eating. Moira found herself ordering more food for the table since her match with Oscar really wore her out. In between bites, Moira asked, So you all play video games and D&D?

"Yeah this wasn't quite the bar experience I was expecting, however I love the aesthetics. It's a great choice!" She mentioned as she set her cigarette down as she then brought her hands to the sides of her tube top, pulling it up a little as it was slipping just a tiny bit before picking back up the cigarette between her fingertips. "I think you won't mind the appetizers I ordered, they are basically chicken meatballs, but they are covered with this sweet soy sauce. I hope you like it."

She then smirked at Oscar sticking his tongue out at her and gave him a playful bap on top of his forehead with her free hand. "Ick, fries? No thanks, but I appreciate the sentiment." She snickered.

She then grinned listening to Moira. "Yeah, I was about to say your bar experiences sound like a typical tavern scenario in D & D where mischief happens and everyone starts fighting one another." She then took another drag from her cigarette and exhaled the smoke into the air with a smile as she nodded her head. "Yes, I do play games on occassion, I stream on twitch as KattyBlue and as for D & D, I haven't played an actual campaign in a while, but I still enjoy everything about it." She mentioned as she tapped some ash into her ash tray. "What about you? Do you watch Critical Role or any Dimension 20 games?"

"Gotta be honest- first time I've ever been here. I just knew it was within walking distance from the dorms. It's pretty cozy though!"

Oscar nodded his head as he heard Katrina's description of the appetizers.

"Ooo... that I'm going to be looking forward to"

Hearing Moria's question, Oscar looked over and nodded his head.

"Haven't had a lot of chances to play in campaigns, but I got interested by those critical role guys. Couldn't sit through the super, super long playthroughs though... just kinda got invested by the humor that came out of it. I've played maybe... three different campaigns? But haven't gotten far enough in any of them to go higher than level two but I had fun in the ones I played in!"

”Well I can tell you the bars in Ireland can very much be like D&D taverns in every way.” She let out a hearty laugh and proceeded to destroy some Tsukune. “Oh that’s so cool! I’ll have to follow you. I was pickier with video games because I was often short on time, but the Witcher 3 is my all time favorite. I love fantasy games and books in general. As for D&D streams, I support Critical Role but I didn’t have the time to watch their campaign weekly. I fell behind and kinda lost track. I’ve had one long term campaign or rather one long term play group over several campaigns for years. But now that I’m here we can’t really play for a multitude of reasons. What are your characters? My most recent one was a Circle of the Moon Druid,” she beamed and launched into a tirade about her build.

Katrina took the time to finish her cigarette, then eat some of the Tsukune and continue taking some sips of Mai Tai between listening to Moira and Oscar talking about their times with D & D, "The only time I am keeping up with Critical Role is I will listen to it at night before I go to sleep. If you are wanting a short campaign, I highly recommend the 4 episode Exandria Unlimited: Calamity special. It was such a good story and Travis WIllingham's character was amazing. It was this Rogue Eisfuura. It was like a noir detective hawkman. It was so cool."

"As for favorite character I have made, it was unfortunately for a one shot, but I had this sexy Tiefling Warlock who I named Uthenera, after Leliana's Song from Dragon Age: Origins, I went the Raven Queen subclass with her so she always had her Raven familiar name Poe that was pretty useful to have around and I made her background so she was like a consort, so she was specializing in charming other people."

She then looked at their glasses being empty. "Ok, this round is on me, what are you all having?"

"Honestly most of my free time is spent either with Katrina, at the gym, or on my computer. If I had a few favorite games it has to be shovel knight, the borderlands games, too many Legend of Zelda games to count, and Pokemon. Though for DnD..."

Oscar hummed as he helped himself to some appetizers and finish off his rum

"... since I was new and still learning, even today, I stuck to playing human barbarians. My last game was a lost mines of Phandelver run with some online friends where I had a Barbarian who used to be a mob enforcer, working to right some wrongs while earning money to pay off protection money so his Mom won't get hurt"

Looking at Katrina, he perked up.

"Another rum for me, please!"

”That’s very nice of you Katrina! I’ll have a Suntori on the rocks please. Now Dragon Age Origins brings me back. Probably the most D&D like game since Baldur’s Gate 2. Oh and forgive me I’m a wee tipsy. How could I forget about them Elder Scrolls?! she laughed. She turned to Oscar, “Aw bah how can you play a human barbarian in D&D when you basically ARE a real live human barbarian?!” Moira giggled profusely and playfully punched Oscar on the arm. “You certainly hug like one.”

"Dragon Age Origins was so good, Dragon Age 2, I was disappointed with the lack of locations, but Fenris and Varric were two of my favorite characters out of Dragon Age. Inquisition was fun to play through once, but I got frustrated that I could not beat one of the DLC bosses. As for Baldur's Gate, never played it, Skyrim was nice, it was even better when I had about 16 gigs worth of mods downloaded for it. I had my followers tagging along in bone bikini's, note to self....I need to create that outfit. I also want to do a Fearne Cosplay for Critical Role Campaign 3 and Jester from Campaign 2." She took a mental note as she then held her hand up to order the drinks. Excuse me, can I get a rum and two Suntori's on the rocks please and make sure those are all on my tab. Arigato!"

She then smiled as listened at Moira talking about his hug and comparing him to a real live barbarian. "He's not just a barbarian, he's a barbarian prince." She mentioned as she joined in on Moira's arm pinching by grabbing Oscar's cheeks and giving them a comical wiggle.

Oscar smiled as he listened to the two ladies talk about their interests. He looked like he was going to chime in with something before getting playfully arm punched by Moria and cheek pinched by Katrina.

"Ow! Hey! So what if I played humans a lot? I'm still learning! Sue me! I made like- one crocodile person once. That's got to count for something, right? Right?"

His face made an adorable blush at the cheek pinching and he mixed his words with some good-hearted laughter. before looking at Moria

"Thanks though! I owe it to Katrina's big sister that my hug is that strong. She gave me some tips and training after our match. She's easily got to be one of my best friends here at LAW since I joined"

Finally, he'd look at Katrina as she pinched him and chuckled.

"And it's been the most wonderful time to be your prince! I sometimes still pinch my arm to make sure I'm not dreaming you know"

Oscar shot Katrina a wink as he chuckled at her. Maybe the rum was loosening him up a bit?
