An Unholy Contest: Alanna Antoinette vs. Isaiah Bowen

"Someone's paying attention to my matches. It was a good preview for this!" Alanna would run towards the ropes, rebound, and charge forward at Isaiah. She would try to knock him down with a lariat. If successful, she would jump and hit him with a standing leg drop on the ground.

If Alanna though she was going to waltz her way into a victory like she did with Upsilon, she is sadly mistaken. As she bound off the ropes to attempt a lariat. Isaiah countered with a hard lariat of his own, making them both fall over. Isaiah laid there for a few seconds, before sitting up and saying, "You hit harder than any other female I've met..." a genuine observation and compliment. Still he wasn't about to just let her win for that, as he sunk his hands into her stomach in a claw hold, hoping to wear her down...

Alanna felt like hitting him with the lariat was a guarantee. She did not expect him to react so fast and ready his own lariat. The two battlers collided and fell to the canvass stunned. While Alanna was close to his size, Isaiah had more mass, so he recovered first, sat up, and locked in a stomach claw. Alanna screamed as Isaiah dug into her abs while complimenting her. She then grunted a response. "First you talk a lot about Upsilon. Now you're complimenting me? Sounds like the Holy Man isn't so holy," she mocked. Hoping it would distract him enough, she would try to bring up her knee and strike him in the face. If successful, she would try to wrap her legs around his neck and lock in a triangle choke.

"No, I'm just not like those hypocrites you see on TV spewing nonsense." Isaiah responded through gritted teeth. He knew that this hold wasn't sustainable, and he just wanted to get in as much damage as possible. Sure enough, Alanna kneed Isaiah in the head, forcing a release, and soon he was in a triangle choke. Isaiah admittedly had never been in this hold, and it was rather awkward, to be sure. Still he figured the best way to get out was to get to the ropes, so he started to shift his body so his legs would reach the ropes, to force a break...

"Oh so I hit hard for a girl? You are a smug little bastard," she said as she choked him in her triangle choke. Alanna was enjoying making him suffer and was sure to make mocking faces at him while he was trapped between her legs. Isaiah was ensnared in her hold but not helpless, though. He moved his torso to reach for the ropes with his legs. Seeing he was about to get the rope break, Alanna elected to suddenly let go early while he was reaching for the ropes. The French former-dancer would then kick up to her feet and then attempt to roundhouse kick Isaiah in the face.

Surprisingly to Isaiah, Alanna let go of the choke before her could reach the ropes, maybe to just save time, as it was pretty apparent that he was going to make it to the ropes anyway. Isaiah shook his had at Alanna's statement, "Why are you pushing this 'sexism' angle?" He said as he slowly got up, "I'm not a monster, Alanna..." he said in a uncharacteristic sincere voice, only to be met with a roundhouse kick to the face. It was enough to make him stagger quite a bit, but, surprisingly, only dropped to one knee. Isaiah would get up to get behind Alanna and lock her in a reverse bearhug, hoping to wear down the French maiden...

While Isaiah may have been sincere in his acknowledgement of her skill, Alanna, hyped up on adrenaline, didn't believe him. "Because it's obvious you're like that under the surface!" She was incredibly satisfied when her roundhouse kick connected, but it didn't knock him down and instead forced him to take a knee. She was surprised when Isaiah burst forward from his kneeling position, slipped behind her, and wrapped his arms around her. Isaiah had locked her in a reverse bearhug.

The man could certainly claim the bearhug as his finishing move! Alanna knew he was muscular, but even she was taken by surprise at how strong he was. Alanna let out a cry of pain as Isaiah squeezed her in his crushing embrace. Fortunately, her arms were free, so she started to elbow him. However, she did not have the right angle or leverage to elbow him since he was pressed right up against her back and she didn't want to turn around only to get fully bearhugged. As Isaiah continued to crush her, Alanna started slowing down and the crowd knew it. The Frenchwoman let out a roar and would try to force her hands in between his arms to break his grip. At the same time, she attempted to stomp on his feet to disorient him in order to make it easier to pry his arms off of her.

"I'm not sure you really want to know what's below the surface..." Isaiah replied in a matter-of-fact tone. Isaiah knew that Alanna wasn't going to submit right now, but, that wasn't the purpose of his reverse bearhug, it was to slow down the match, and even the LAW crowd seemed to know it was working. However, Alanna wasn't going to just sit there and take it, as she began to pry his arms loose, and eventually, she stepped on his foot to force a shock release. This somewhat worried Isaiah, as this was a modification of his finisher, could she escape that as well?

Alanna did not want to give Isaiah any time to recover. As soon as his grip loosened, she delivered a swift elbow to his gut. She then quickly turned around and delivered several stiff forearms to his face and chest. From there, she would attempt to pick him up and body slam her foe.

Alanna wasn't willing to let Isaiah get a breather, as he was soon met with a few stiff shots to the body and head, Isaiah meant it when he said Alanna was the best striker he had met thus far, and he took each one, and was soon lifted into the air in a body slam, and was planted to the mat, Isaiah winced a bit, but, mostly covered his face out of instinct. The LAW faithful were now beginning to realize that Isaiah without...that part of him wasn't worth the price of admission...
