Lightning Strikes a Butterfly - Keqing Vs. Raquel Masters

With Raquel's legs in her grasp, Keqing began to crank up the pressure in her submission hold. She pulled up on Raquel's legs to get a better angle, locked her ankles, then began bending her knees and lowering her body to punish Raquel with the sharpshooter. Keqing did not expect to extract a submission this early on in the match, especially not against a skilled and tenacious veteran, but at the very least she'd be able to drain some of Raquel's every and hopefully slow her down.

"Doesn't sound like you're enjoying this Raquel!" Keqing said in response to her opponent's loud cry, "Here, have a little more!" With that, the Chinese athlete pulled back a bit more, leaning further back on her heels to really up the pressure.

But perhaps pulling back so much wasn't such a good idea, as now Keqing was balanced precariously on her heels. So when Raquel pushed up and twisted to the side, Keqing felt one of her legs slip out from beneath her! "Oh!" She gasped, falling over sideways as Raquel broke out from the sharpshooter! Her impact upon the mats shook loose her grip on Raquel's legs, giving her opponent her freedom while leaving Keqing momentarily stunned!

Raquel managed to free herself and she tried her best to get to her feet. the going was a bit slow but Raquel managed to scramble up before Keqing. The red-headed wrestler crouched and waited for her opponent to rise before springing into the air to try to hit a dropkick right to the jaw of her opponent!

Keqing was a bit stunned after her fall and was just a bit slower than Raquel getting up to her feet. Her smaller opponent had surprised Keqing, breaking out of that hold in such a way, and moving faster than Keqing even after taking such a submission. The surprises kept coming though, as when Keqing looked up to find Raquel, she was already coming at her with a dropkick aimed right at her face!

"Guh!" Keqing gasped. Raquel's boot caught the bottom of her jaw, snapping her head back. The blow sent Keqing reeling backwards, falling hard on her back with a loud thud, even more stunned as she got laid out by her opponent's blow!

Raquel felt the dropkick hit, knowing it landed just as intended! Raquel would fight through the pain in her aching body and pump a fist in the air. "Come on lets go!" She shouted as she made her way over to Keqing and pulled her up by the hair, wrapping one arm around her head before reaching down to hook a leg at the knee. Raquel let out a shout as she lift Keqing up and looked to send her crashing down hard with a fisherman suplex! If Raquel pulled this off she would tense up and stay bridged to go for a pin right when Keqing hit the canvas.

The purple-haired athlete was far too stunned to fight back after taking that dropkick to the jaw. She barely even registered Raquel stomping over and grabbing her by her long twintails, though she did let out a pained groan as her opponent pulled her up. She was in far too much of a daze to stand, her head spinning as Raquel forced her onto her feet. If Raquel wasn't holding on to her, she would have swayed over and fallen on her face.

"Huh? Wha-?" Keqing gasped as Raquel reached down and grabbed her underneath her leg. She let out a cry as Raquel lifted her into the air, her entire world spinning before she got slammed hard on her back into the mats once again!

"GUUUUH!" Keqing let out a long pained grunt as all the air got forced from her body. She was completely stunned after that hit, unable to resist at Raquel bridged up to secure a pin!

"One!" the referee counted, "Two!"

Keqing instinctively kicked up, trying to break the pin before the third count could land. Even if she did though, she wouldn't be able to fight back for a little bit, as she lay on her back with her world still spinning around her.

Keqing was down but not out as she thrust her way free of the pin! Raquel slapped the mat in frustration as she got up, but she immediately took action. Raquel ran to the ropes and jumped up with her feet landing on the middle rope. Raquel jumped back, leaping into the air and flipping as she attempted to come crashing right back down on top of Keqing with a springboard moonsault! If Raquel connected she would once again stay on top of Keqing while reaching down to hook a leg to transition right into another pin. She wanted to keep Keqing down and work her over with her hard hitting offense hoping that she could keep her pinned for three this time.

After breaking out of the pin based on pure instinct, Keqing lay on her back, still feeling quite stunned and woozy, blinking up at the ring lights. She knew she was leaving herself wide open, and knew she was in big trouble. But there was little she could do at the moment as her head spun from the repeated hits she took.

Raquel didn't immediately come at her while she was down though, as the smaller fighter took off towards the ropes, something Keqing could tell based on her footsteps shaking the ring. No doubt she was going to attempt a big high-flying finishing move. "This is a chance!" Keqing thought. Being a high-flyers herself she could anticipate what kind of attack Raquel was likely to use. If she managed to counter it, then she could swing the momentum of the match back on her favor.

She would need to time this perfectly. Feeling one last shake of the mats, Keqing knew it was time. She brought her knees up right as Racquel took to the air in her moonsault! It was an impressive and elegant move, the butterfly-clad fighter arching her back gracefully through the air as she flipped over to come down belly-first on top of Keqing. Unfortunately for her what she would be meeting would not be Keqing's stomach, but rather her curled up legs! Keqing braced herself for impact, ready to take advantage of Raquel as soon as she splattered herself against Keqing's knees.

Raquel flew through the air and landed on Keqing, but her knees were angled up and crushed Raquel's abdomen! "AAAGGHHHHH!" Raquel groaned as she crumpled to the mat in a heap, rolling to her side. Raquel curled up in a ball kicking her legs about as her arms cradled her crushed abdomen leaving her on the mat. Raquel was down, had the wind knocked out of her and was in no shape to get up to fight back anytime soon!

Bringing her knees up was a cruel way to counter a high-flying attack, Keqing knew that from experience. Even though the athlete braced herself, Raquel coming down full force upon her knees still rocked Keqing's body, crushing her legs painfully against her and knocking her wind out. But Raquel still got the worse of that exchange, her unprotected tummy slamming into Keqing's knees at full force, crumpling onto the mats in a tight ball as she clutched her wounded stomach. As Keqing rolled over to get up, she saw Raquel's state and felt a little bit sorry for her opponent.

But that didn't mean she was going to hold back. Raquel proved how dangerous she was if given a moment's opening, so Keqing knew she had to be on guard. Now that her opponent was vulnerable, she had to take advantage and press her attack. Sucking in a deep breath, Keqing pushed up to her feet, stepping over to Raquel's downed form and bending down to grab her by the arm.

"Sorry about that!" Keqing said softly so only they could hear, "And sorry about this too!" The purple-haired athlete would pull up on Raquel's arm to force her back up to her feet. She would then throw Raquel out in an Irish Whip towards the turnbuckle, forcing her to run and slam into the corner post!

Raquel moaned in pain as she was hauled up by the arm unable to respond at all to Keqing apparently apologizing for trying to win the match. Raquel screamed in horror as she was sent running and smashed right into the turnbuckle! "AAAHHHHHH!" Raquel howled as her shoulder and head bounced off the ring post sending her crumpling to the mat in a total heap! She flopped about, weakly raising her leg up to kick in pain but it was more of her leg crashing limply to the ground. Her arms covered her head and she felt an absolute throbbing in her skull unsure she was busted open or not.
