Alizeh Midori vs. Angela Belti - The Young and the Restless

[BlackAkuma]

Spunk. Alizeh had oodles of it.

She wasn’t sure what reaction she would’ve gotten from the woman after that thrust kick, but she figured it would at least take some of the wind out of the Emerald Empress’ sails. Getting booted in the face was known to have that effect, in her experience.

Instead, it only seemed to egg her on. Despite the size and power difference, she still wanted more.

There was no holding back a chuckle. ”Ask and you shall receive.”

Even ‘the Perfect Woman’ wasn’t so arrogant as to use the same attack twice in a row, but that didn’t mean she was going to throw a soft ball. She charged in again, rushed Alizeh down, swung hard, trying to clobber the woman with a lariat aimed at her chest, trying to drop her hard to the mat.

When getting kicked in the face in the way that Alizeh just was there were two ways one could respond, with fear and newfound apprehension of an opponent, or eagerly with a new found appreciation. Alizeh chose the latter, seeing the powerful Italian woman before her in new light, one that fully appreciated just how quick and nimble the woman could be.

But she was far from done, and as Angela suddenly charged at her Alizeh would show that she could be quite nimble as well by waiting for the last moment that Angela was upon her before darting forward! At first it would look like she was just charging into Angela's lariat, but at the last moment Alizeh would lean back, throwing her legs out and lashing them around Angela's own before twisting her hips and using her legs to try and send Angela face first into the mat with a drop toe hold!

[BlackAkuma]

Angela should’ve seen it coming, really. She ran drop toehold drills with Dizzy all the time, a basic move that could help you out in so many ways if you get the timing right. Her daughter was still rusty in a lot of ways, but she picked this move up well enough, so well that she could even putting Angela herself down with it.

Occasionally.

So, of course, Alizeh would know it well, and she should’ve expected it as a counter to her lariat. But the moment got away from her, the excitement made her headstrong, caution went to the wayside and down she went.

Angela got her hands up at the last second and landed on her palms, saving her from the worst of it, but it was still a bad position to be in. Wanting to be on her feet as soon as possible, she tried to get her legs free and scramble up, hoping to rise before her opponent could make the most of the opportunity.

Smirking a bit wider as her drop toe hold successfully brought her opponent down to the mat face first Alizeh would turn and push up before rolling forward, right back onto her feet and in a standing position! Turning around to spot her foe Alizeh saw that Angela was quickly trying to get back up to her feet after the sudden drop down. Not wanting to let the heavyweight get her bearings though Alizeh would move in suddenly, snapping her leg up to kick the woman in the gut in order to keep her doubled over before leaping up to try and land on the back of her shoulders, hooking her feet over the older woman's arms before throwing herself forward, aiming to pull Angela up and over with a sunset flip power bomb! If Alizeh was successful in landing the move she would keep Angela's weight pressed forward for a pin fall position!

[BlackAkuma]

Alizeh likely thought she was on a roll with Angela - and she was. This was the right strategy, staying one step ahead of her opponent, forcing her to keep up with the younger, faster woman, wearing her out with this quick, spirited offense.

That didn’t mean it was going to work, however. Angela knew exactly how to deal with wrestlers like this: You had to shut them down. Hard.

Alizeh kicked her in the stomach, doubling her over, then jumped on her back, the telltale start of a Sunset Flip Powerbomb. It would’ve been a great move on just about any opponent, but on someone nearly twice her size with the experience and power to actually do something about it? Well…

Instead of falling back, Angela planted her feet and jerked forward, canceling Alizen’s moment with her own, leaving her sitting on her back for an awkward moment. She wouldn’t stay that way for long, however - in the next moment, the titanic Italian stepped to the side, reared back, then brought her upper body down with all the force she could muster, hoping to send Alizeh flying off and hurtling into the nearest corner.

Alizeh smirked as she managed to catch Angela as the older woman was rising up with a kick to her stomach that left her doubled over. As such it left Angela in a prime vulnerable state for Alizeh as the green haired girl ran in, leaping up onto her foe's back, hooking her legs under her arms and aiming to pull forward for a sunset flip power bomb... Although unfortunately for Alizeh she had underestimated Angela's power as well as what state she was in to fight back.... as a result Alizeh was not able to overwhelm the woman with her momentum and instead found it halted as she leaned forward to counteract Alizeh's attempt!

"Oh shit..." Alizeh uttered as she waved her arms about to try and retain her balance... Only for the older woman to take a few steps to the side before she threw herself forward sending Alizeh hurtling into a corner! "Ugh!" Alizeh cried out, both from the crash into the corner as well as from the impact the back of her head had with the turnbuckle leaving Alizeh wincing and stunned from the impact as she laid sat up against the corner!

[BlackAkuma]

”Watch your language!”

How did the saying go? ‘Mess with the bull and you get the horns’?

Alizeh could definitely empathize with that sentiment at the moment. While she wasn’t a small woman by any means, she was still a middleweight, with Angela being well within the heavyweight class. Speed and agility were firmly on her side, but raw power was something that older wrestler could always turn to her advantage. Every time the two of them interacted, there was always a chance she could overpower her and take the advantage.

It cost her this time, as she wound up getting ragdolled into the turnbuckle at ramming speeds, a nasty hit that left her reeling. Angela backed and stood straight up, looking her over just long enough to admire her handiwork before she broke into run, dashing across the ring, her boots thundering with every step.

She spun, hit the opposite turnbuckle with her back, then burst forward again, charging straight towards her opponent. Angela waited until the last moment, then brought her up, shoot it straight out, and attempting to ram her clean in the face, looking to nail her with a vicious Big Boot.

[Bare]

Alizeh all of a sudden really regretted not minding her Ps and Qs before the veteran wrestler she was facing. Especially since it led to her getting thrown face first into the turnbuckle and was now laid sat up against it instead, trying and failing to push herself up and see past the stars in her vision. Unfortunately the moment said stars were gone it was just in time to see Angela coming flying in at her with a big boot that crashed square into her face!

"UGH!" Alizeh cried out, pushed backwards, her head colliding with the turn buckle while her legs turned to jelly under her. As soon as Angela would remove her foot from Alizeh's face then her legs would surely give out, causing Alizeh to drop to her knees before falling face first into the mat, her ass still up in the air, clearly rocked and dazed from the collision and totally vulnerable for more as a result!

[BlackAkuma]

Angela Belti had rammed her boot into more than enough faces in her lifetime to know a good impact when she felt one, and that? That was a good impact.

She pulled away from Alizeh after landing it, stepped back, and watched the results as Alizeh fell to the floor, dazed and out of it for the moment. Enough for an early pinfall? Maybe, maybe not, but she was willing to get a try.

She dropped to her knees, grabbed her foe by the shoulder, pulled her leg in, and pressed against her chest, putting her shoulders down on the mat. As the referee slid in for the count, though, she couldn't help but spy Dizzy on the sidelines, looking on with furrowed brows and chewing her lips, looking…worried?

”1…!”

[Bare]

Alizeh groaned softly as she collapsed down to the mat following that massive impact of Angela's foot with her face, completely rocked by the impact of Angela's blow. Huffing softly as she laid face first on the mat before getting dragged forward a bit and rolled over before her leg was pulled back and she was trapped in a pin!

"ONE!"

"T-"

Before the count could continue further Alizhe would grit her teeth and push herself upwards while twisting her hips as sharply as possible while pulling her leg free to keep herself in this match!
