Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out

[BlackAkuma]

Arthur was fairly certain that wrestling referees were, bar none, the dumbest people in the world.

Imagine if, during a boxing match, someone yelled at a referee, and they responded by turning to them and completely ignoring the boxing match they were supposed to be officiating. It’d be ridiculous, but that was what wrestling referees did all the time. The smallest thing on the outside of the ring, the slightest disturbance, and they gained tunnel vision.

It was like that in CAGE UK, and now, in LAW, it was the same thing. Where they hired these people, he would never know.

Sure enough, when he pulled Kyo off the ring apron, the white knight’s first reflex was to come after him, and the referee’s first instinct was to get between them. All the while, though, he looked over his shoulder and saw Alex taking advantage of the opportunity to drag Makie over to their side, lift her up, and choke her on the bottom rope, while an aching Betty slid over and gave her a few petty kicks in the face. Love to see it.

”Enough!” The referee admonished Arthur, waving a finger his way like a disappointed schoolteacher. As if you could shame a man who’d had the nuts to beat up his own father. ”Interfere one more time and you’re ejected, Arthur!”

”There you go, ref, lay down the law!” He clapped his hands and chuckled as the referee shook her head and slipped back in the ring, where Alex had just dragged Makie to the middle and was proceeding to get her ground and pound on. Arthur just threw a quick wink to Kyo and slinked back over to his side, the damage thoroughly done.
