Wrestling Information
Strategy:Styx is a hybrid between a brawler and technician, using rough, unrefined strikes and brutal blows but employing technical finesse when on the floor and throwing in cheap shots whenever she can. People often say it’s like fighting two opponents in one, as if she’s seamlessly switching between a barbarian and a bard. She loves battering her foes, bending them in half, and takes pleasure in making them scream, often drawing out a match far longer than needed. Style: Brawler
Type: Hardcore Technician
Attitude to Hentai: “Depends.”
Preferred Matches: No DQ, I Quit, HIAC
Signature Match - 1
House of Pain: A Hell In A Cell Iron Man Match. Over the course of an hour, the wrestler with the most pinfalls, submissions, knockouts, or orgasms is declared the winner. Anything goes, and as punishment, the winner gets to tattoo something of their choice on the loser.
Signature Match - 2
Chain Gang Match: A match where both wrestlers are connected with iron shackles and a ten-foot-long chain. Victory by submission or knockout only.
Endurance:★★★★★ - Styx isn’t just adept at giving out pain, but can take unholy amounts of it.
Strength: ★★★★★ - Is stronger than her wry frame would suggest.
Speed:★★ - Fairly fast on her feet.
Defense:★★ - Prefers taking hits rather than blocking them.
Technique:★★★★ - Is oddly skilled, given her brutish exterior.
Wrestling Statistics
Strikes: ★★★★ - Her strikes lack finesse, but make up for it in ferocity.
Submissions: ★★★★ - For a bigger, brawly wrestler, she’s shockingly precise on the floor.
Powerhouse: ★★★★★ - Can use these against lighter opponents.
Aerial: ★★★ - She won’t hesitate to put her body on the line if the opportunity arises.
Counters: ★★★ - If she sees a good spot, she can turn an opponent’s attack around.
Signature Moves
Death From Above

With an opponent on their back near the corner, Styx scales the pads, leaps off the second rope, grabs the top rope on her way back, and drops her full weight on their body for a powerful splash.
Phalanx

Styx runs full speed at her opponent and rams them with a powerful shoulder tackle that sends them flying.
Dirt Nap

Styx locks in a sleeper hold from behind, and when her opponent fights it, she arches her back and throws them overhead into a suplex without letting go of the choke.
Burial

Styx lifts the opponent on her shoulder, throws them up, spins them around in the air and drives them down hard onto their back as she falls with them.
Death Rattle

With her opponent face down on the mat, Styx drapes herself across their back, wraps one arm around their neck, locks it with the other, and wrenches back, cranking the neck and cutting off the air until they tap or fade.
From Hell

With an opponent stunned in the ring, Styx bounces off the ropes, comes back at her opponent and puts her entire body weight into throwing a powerful lariat.
Midnight Bliss

An Octopus Stretch, where Styx uses her free hands to maul the opponent’s breasts and work over their pussy.
Charon’s Toll

Styx gets her opponent up for a powerbomb, then lets their upper body fall, drops to her knees, and drives their head into the mat.
Personal Information
Personality
Some people are just shit. They don’t have any reason to be. They didn’t get beat up as children. They weren’t bullied. They didn’t have bad parents, grow up poor, or play too much GTA. They’re not suffering from some genetic disorder, and they don’t have a mental imbalance. They had a perfectly normal, mundane, average upbringing with a solid support network, went to a good school in a decent city, had engaging and loving parents, and had all the hallmarks of a stable life - and yet, somehow, despite all of that, they managed to become terrible people. It doesn’t happen often, but a person occasionally comes out wrong.
In a nutshell, that's River Styx.
Styx is a rotting pile of neurosis and hatred. She revels in chaos, and while it might seem like she has no purpose or method to her madness, she does have ideals and motivations, as crazy as they may be. She views wrestling as a proving ground, the closest thing the modern world has to the Roman Coliseum, a brutal arena where only the strong survive by any means necessary.
She’s also oddly well-spoken and verbose for someone who presents themselves as a thug. That’s Styx’s greatest trick - people see her and automatically assume she’s mindless muscle, a thug, but she’s far more intelligent and practical than that, and by the time they figure out what she’s really capable of, it’s too late.

History
Everything was normal in River Stevenson's life, right up until the moment she died.
Up until that point, River was a fairly prominent, if not terribly successful, wrestler on the United States indie scene, mostly wrestling around Detroit. Going by the name ‘Gothzilla’, she was sort of stuck in a big-woman rut: not getting pushed much, not advancing far in her career, and seemingly destined to fight the same opponents in the same bingo halls around the country. She was your typical big and brutish heel.
That all changed during an electrified barbed-wire deathmatch at the end of a vicious feud. After a brutal fight, Styx was thrown into the barbed wire, but the ring ropes, which had been poorly set up for the match, snapped around her. She found herself tied up in the ropes and wire, and was repeatedly shocked, taking an unholy amount of voltage. By the time officials were able to get it off, it was too late - her heart had stopped beating. River Stevenson was clinically dead.
It was only thanks to the quick action of the medical team that they were able to bring River back with a defibrillator, but when she was revived, something had changed in her. Gone was the boisterous, loud-mouthed, unthinking brute. Going by the name River Styx now, she was a far more collected, calm and thoughtful woman, notably more intelligent in the ring and out of it. A schemer, she worked behind the scenes to further her plans, manipulated those around her, and used their perception of her as a weapon against them; it wasn’t long before she became a feared force on the indie scene.
It was only a matter of time before she fell onto LAW’s radar as a person of interest.

Main Outfit

Off Duty

+The name didn’t just come out of nowhere. Styx is a lover of mythology, Greek in particular, and is oddly knowledgeable.
+It’s unknown who gave her all the tattoos, but whoever did, they seemed to share their expertise. Styx is a capable tattoo artist in her own right and even has a rig set up for it.
+Has a small collection of books she’s building up. Prefers physical media over digital.
+Styx maintains a strong presence online and routinely interacts with her fans, people who share her nihilistic views on the world. Her fans call themselves ‘the Cult’, a nickname they took ownership of from their detractors. Some of them are quite devoted, however, and she occasionally uses their interference to help win matches.
+Earned the nickname ‘Grim Reaper’ because eight of her opponents have retired after fighting her. Six of them from injuries, two for undisclosed issues that no one can prove Styx is responsible for.
