Generational Battle: "Amazon" Alaina Sanders vs. Valley Doll III

[BlackAkuma]

Valerie’d done it. She’d beaten Alaina Sanders. It seemed almost impossible to believe, but as she lay there, with her body draped over her mentor, she could feel the energy in the woman’s body, or the lack thereof. There was no way she would kickout, simply no way-

And she kicked out.

Despite herself, Valerie couldn't help but let out a long groan of frustration as she was flung away, feeling the frustration mount, but she did her best to push past it. That was close, so close. Maybe the Amazon wasn’t finished, but she had to be on the borderline. Just a little more.

Reaching over, Valerie rolled onto her back and pulled Alaina in by the wrist, as she tried to get legs around the woman’s head and shoulder - she was going for a triangle hold, her Neo ValleyLock. If she couldn't make the woman give up, she’d go for the nuclear option and just suck the fight right out of her.

[Highfly]

Alaina was down and looking up at the lights as Valley grabbed her hand. She had survived butnthst was only going to prolong a defeat if she thisnkept up.

Alaina felt the touch on her wrist and pulled away, yanking her arm free as she rolled to her side. She needed distance and now. Alaina was trying to roll to the ropes looking to use them to rise back up to her feet feeling every bit the desperate woman she was in between these ropes.

[BlackAkuma]

Desperation was starting to sink in, and not the regular kind. This was the raw, pleading desperation that comes from having something you want so close, so teasingly close, and having it slip through your fingers no matter how many times you grasp it, again and again, until it drives you batty.

What more did she need to do? What else was there?

She tried to get Alaina in the submission hold, but the woman slipped away before had the chance, showing her keen instincts. Valerie let out a frustrated grunt, then pushed up and gave chase. She reached out and wrapping her arms around the woman’s waist as she tried to pull her back, hoping to get her over towards the center of the ring once more.

[Highfly]

Alaina felt herself grabbed and shook her head. She was being dragged and her opponent had a solid grip on her. Alaina had been beyond humbled. She was outright being outwrestled at this point. She grit her teeth trying to survive and work some kind of comeback. As she was pulled Alaina would reach up and grab at Valley's grip while her legs thrashed about. She knew she had to get back up. She knew Valley standing over her simply wouldn't allow for that to happen.

Alania was trying to kick a Valley's legs hoping to make her pause or stumble. From that point Alaina would try to get her own feet under her and push up hoping that she could power her way out of the younger wrestlers grip otherwise Alaina was just setting herself up for a German suplex all over again. That hurt before and it would devastate her now. That was the last thing she wanted but she couldn't just lay there anymore.

[BlackAkuma]

If she’d tried this at the start of the match, Valerie would’ve been able to lift Alaina without too much trouble - she might’ve had to put her back into it, especially if the woman was fighting her hard, but she could’ve made it happen. Now, however, it felt like a laborious, Herculean effort.

Alaina still had more energy than she thought possible, threatening to break free as they rose. It was a hot, heavy struggle, and she needed to do something, anything to end it.

Instead of sticking with the waistlock, Valerie abruptly broke away as soon as they were standing and dashing towards the ropes, hitting them hard to and bouncing off to build momentum. She raced past Alaina, hit the ropes again, then rushed towards her, dipped low, and threw her entire body in a heavy Spear, looking to use her combined momentum to send her opponent crashing into the canvas.

[Highfly]

Alaina was stumbling and wobbly as Valley let go and bolted to the ropes. The amazon looked like she was unsteady and about to be caught as Valley bounced off and rocketed right back at Alaina.

The amazon screamed and tried to brace herself swinging her foot up and thrusting forward. She was aiming a big boot right into the incoming face of the younger powerhouse hoping to stop this spear in its tracks. If she failed or only landed a glancing blow then the amazon was about to be on a world of hurt...

[BlackAkuma]

This was it. This was everything Valerie had left. She put it all into this mad kamikaze dash, taking her around the ring at full speed and bringing an insane amount of deadly momentum. The stars aligned as she neared her opponent, dipped down, and-

-and when Valerie woke up, she was flat on her back, looking up at the ceiling, while the crowd cheered and her face felt like it had been hit with a sledgehammer.

”W…what?”

She wasn’t sure what happened, exactly, only that it a) really hurt and b) involved hitting her face. Whatever the case, it was enough to put her down in a more permanent fashion, as she couldn't even coax her body into twitching, much less moving a significant amount. ”No! No, damn it…”

[Highfly]

Alaina managed to take Valley down and now she had a chance to hit the dazed woman with an amabomb. Alaina couldn't afford to pass up an opportunity like this.

Alaina pulled Valley up by the head and shoved it between her legs again. Alaina was not wasting time as she moved to grab Valley around the waist and lift. She was moving fast and using all her power to lift Valley up and send her down hard hoping to avoid a counter or reversal.

[BlackAkuma]

Somewhere through the fog, past the ringing in her ears and the dull, throbbing heat spreading across her face, she felt herself hauled up off the canvas, and her head shoved down between those powerful legs once again. She knew it was coming. She'd watch that AmaBomb compilation on YouTube a thousand times. She'd survived it once.

Once. Just Lightning didn't strike twice against Alaina Sanders.

Still, she tried. She planted her feet, tried to arch her back and dig in like before, but her legs were done. They buckled, then arms locked around her waist and the ring dropped away beneath her as the Amazon brought her up high. She flailed for something, anything - she hammered a weak fist against Alaina's shoulder, tried to twist her hips and slip free, the kind of wild, desperate scramble her brother would've tried. It didn't come close.

And then she came down.

The impact hit her like a car crash, folding her up and driving her shoulders into the mat with a deafening impact - literally, it made her ears ring. For a few seconds there was nothing at all - no sound, no pain, just the lights swimming overhead and the dull awareness that she'd stopped breathing. Then the air came rushing back all at once, and the pain came with it.

Valerie lay there, sprawled out and gasping, arms limp at her sides. She was dimly aware of the referee's shoes somewhere close by, of the heavyweight looming over her, of exactly how bad this looked.

Her mother had called Alaina the Comeback Queen. Fine. But the woman had kicked out at two-point-nine tonight, too. If she could do it...

”N-not…not yet…” It came out as barely a whisper, and her body didn't seem to be listening, but her fingers twitched against the canvas all the same.

[Highfly]

Alaina pulled it off sending Valley down with all the force she could, shaking the ring.

She waste no time taunting or admiring her work. She was gassed and dropped down to cover Valley well aware that the young woman had the amazon herself on the ropes and on the edge of defeat. Alaina laid across the young wrestlers chest and hooked a leg tight pressing down with all she had left.

"ONE!"
