Everything ached.

Her head, her back. Even her cheeks from being pulled by the gremlin that was Halloween. She probably even liked that movie because it was a Halloween themed movie, right? It sounded like a spooky old time movie and it did have puppets so probably. Morgan would have to ask sometime.

Though that might have been the scrambled brain she was dealing with as she picked herself up off of her face and rolled over. Groaning, she blinked a little in the overhead lights. Maybe it was the lights but she did seem to recall Halloween had put her in this situation so a friendly asking about movies seemed silly given the circumstances. In fact, Morgan had the opinion that her opponent was almost assuredly due for her own payback and...

The audience was roaring?

Show biz had afforded Morgan the experience to read an audience. How were they engaged and what might be engaging them. This particular sound was like a buildup, like everyone in the audience were rolling up in a higher pitch to indicate something they were waiting for. Like a bunch of frat bros hyping up the guy who is chugging a beer for a finish.

Halloween didn't seem like she'd drink a beer in the ring. So she was doing something else? The audience sound approached the peak and Morgan did what anyone without wrestling experience would do. She raised her legs to guard herself but as she saw the figure of her opponent soar into view, Morgan took a gamble at the airborne opponent and threw both of her feet out to kick at the incoming projectile. Halloween.

”Oooooooooooo…”

Halloween wouldn’t lie, she loved when the crowd did that. Despite being so small, she had never been what people called a ‘high flyer’, preferring to keep the match grounded and rely on her technical and striking skills, since it wasn’t like her tiny body could do a ton of damage even if she did land a good crash, but…well, she was in a mood to indulge today. To trod the road less traveled.

And that road was going to have her dropping down on Little Miss Morgan with a Swanton Bomb, in three, two…

There was nothing wrong in Halloween’s flight plan, but it was abruptly canceled at the last second as something - she couldn't tell exactly what, but she guessed it was Morgan’s feet - slammed into her midair, knocking her tiny body away. She let out a hoarse, surprised cry as she was flung away, and the blow sent her tumbling across the ring, under the ropes and out onto the floor, which she ungracefully crashed down onto with her back.

Yeah, not doing that one again anytime soon.

Honestly in terms of violence, this was probably the most violent thing Morgan had done. Slamming her boots into the midsection of a shawty to punt her into next week! Not that she felt bad in this instance. The Weeny definitely deserved that after all the messing around and abuse she was slinging at Morgan for sure. Speaking of, Morgan flattened herself against the mat dropping her legs and arms to the mat to just lay there for a moment. A much due moment in this match where she didn't have to think about how insufferable Halloween was for example.

"Ow..."

Morgan uttered as she rolled up onto her stomach and picked herself up. Everything hurt but nailing an attack had served as a good adrenaline boost for her, dulling the pain as she climbed to her knees. Glancing around, Halloween was nowhere present, but the blonde caught the detail of the crowd looking, even some pointing just outside the ring. Ah perfect, the fans were really rising to the occasion. She crawled over to the ring apron and peered over to see the heap that was her opponent.

"Awww, poor Halloween!"

She hollered in mock sympathy as she turned and rolled out of the ring. She landed and approached, giving the fans a wink. "Guess what." Morgan began stepping up to soccer kick Halloween in an act of violent revenge. "Looks like this Final Girl finally found it in her to step up."

ONE!

The referee announced from the ring. Morgan rolled her eyes, bending down to grab a pigtail of her opponent and haul her up to her feet. It was helping in the superficial sense because once Halloween was to her feet, Morgan lowered her shoulder into Halloween's stomach and charged, pushing her opponent back towards the ring to attempt a crash against the apron!

So, that was a nasty crash, but not one that Halloween couldn't shake off. She was surprisingly durable when it came to such things. Part of it was just the way she’d been trained - you don’t go through lucha libre school without taking one or two or a thousand hard impacts. But her small size helped her out more than people realized. Less weight meant less impact. Kind of like how an ant could survive a fall off the Empire State Building.

So, while she wasn’t in the best of shape, she could get over the pain. No, what was really bugging her, more than anything, the predictable commentary that came along with it.

Halloween groaned under her breath at Moira’s taunting and tried to focus on the important things - like, say, standing up for starters. She began that process, and was making good time on it, too, when Moira came over and gave her a harsh kick in the back, sending pain up and down her spine.

Halloween hissed at that, then again, when the woman grabbed her - by the pigtails, of course - and hauled her back up to her feet, only for her to duck down and ram her up against the side of the ring, hammering her up against the unforgiving metal.

None too pleasant, no. But while Morgan’s head was there…

”Lemme just…” Halloween reached over, wrapped her arm around Moira’s head, and trying to catch her with a tight headlock before she could pull away. It wouldn’t be much, but she hoped she could at least keep the blonde in check while she worked on her next move, whatever that might be.

Morgan wasn't appreciative of the headlock. Especially not after what she assumed to have been solid work on trying to turn around the match. More than that, it was the nerve of it all and not because Morgan wasn't exactly confident on what she could do in this position. The blonde's first instinct was to tighten her arms around Halloween's midsection, aiming for a vicelike grip that tried to squeeze her opponent out to give up but Morgan lacked the mass and muscle mass to really make an impact.

TWO!

The referee sounded from inside the ring, throwing up two fingers. The count for disqualification escalating slowly as the two battled outside the ring.

Morgan had noticed as she went with her second instinct of trying to withdraw her head from Halloween's headlock. Her feet scrambled on the matting beneath, body twisting and pulling, but she was going no where.

Okay, onto her third plan. Morgan withdrew her arms from around Halloween's waist and slipped them down past the woman's shorts so each of her hands could hook Halloween's thighs. Each hand grabbed a handful of thigh, callously digging in her nails, as she hooked a leg around to try and trip up Halloween. The same move, Morgan threw her weight to one side in an attempt to topple the pair to the padding! Should the move even work, Morgan would slip herself under the ring even if that meant rolling underneath with Halloween!

Halloween learned pretty early on her wrestling career that she was always, always, always going to be at a size disadvantage. Strength was never going to be on her size, no matter how hard she trained or what muscles she bulked up, and she could only take so many heavy hits. But she could be smarter and she could be faster, and a lot of the time that was enough. She analyzed her opponent and worked with what she had.

And what was that keen, sharp mind telling her about Morgan? Well, for starters, she needed to lock this little firecracker down before she burned out of control. That meant stopping her momentum, and the headlock seemed to accomplish that at first. While she was far from the heaviest body on the roster, it wasn’t like she was up a tank in Morgan, and the blonde had a tough time dislodging. ”Nope, nope, not happening.” She ground down hard as the woman trying to pull her head free. ”This little bobblehead of yours is going nowhere, chica. It’s mine now, lo tengo.”

Halloween was just starting to contemplate what the next step in her master plan was when Morgan took the initiative, reaching around and grabbing her thighs. Actually, no, ‘grabbing’ wasn’t quite the right word for it - she dug in with her nails like she trying to tear her quads out, making the Scream Queen earn her nickname. ”Ow, what the fuck!” She gave the headlock a hard, retaliatory squeeze. ”If you draw blood-”

Morgan’s leg slipped around Halloween before she could finish the threat, and the two of them went tumbling, on the floor, under the ropes, into the darkness.

Not where Halloween wanted to be, at least not when she was on the defensive. With an annoyed grunt, she dislodged from Morgan, grabbed the apron, and tried to scramble and pull her way back into the ring before her opponent could do whatever crazy thing she had in mind.

Oh Halloweenie was being such a baby.

Morgan wasn't going to draw blood. Maybe.

It was just a little love grab.

One that ended when the pair toppled to the mat.

THREE! The referee counted as rolled, keeping her arms locked around Halloween to half roll her partially under the ring apron. The two laid side to side, tangled for a moment before Halloween extracted herself, attempting to slip away. Now, Morgan knew she wasn't a good wrestler, but she did like to try unorthodox things and tight spaces happen to be something she was quite used to. Boxed in by a metal frame, the area under the wrestling ring a little more spacious than people thought. Though that space was usually taken up by a whole bunch of junk like tables, chairs, and assorted items that may serve or not serve a purpose for the show.

"Aw where are you going, Weenie?" Morgan sat up in a low kneeling crouch as she reached out and seized Halloween by the ankles. "Afraid of a little dark?" The blonde taunted as she tried to yank her opponent back in under the ring, obscured from view.

While Morgan wasn't really mean, she didn't always like to play by the rules if it meant she could make things more exciting so that meant skirting the rules sometimes. For Halloween, that meant a little payback as one of Morgan's hands left her opponent's ankle and grabbed the end of an extension cord and quickly swung down with a low arc to crack against Halloween's bare back for trying to escape the fun under the ring so soon!

"Come on and stay for a bit~"

Uuuuuuuuh. Halloween hated running away from Morgan. She could already guess what taunts would be coming her way. A horror-themed pro wrestler not wanting to wrestle in the dark? Those jokes wrote themselves.

But, hate it though she did, it was the tactical decision. Halloween did her best work when she could move and breath and duck and dodge and she wasn’t cut out for brawling in a close, confined space with a bigger woman, even if Morgan wasn’t all that big. Her best bet was to get out, get some space, get back to the ring, and-

It took Halloween a full second to properly process what happened. The sharp pain on her backside, the swish through the air, the involuntary yelp that followed.

Did this woman just whip with a goddamn extension cord?

Halloween stumbled forward and hissed at the pain, then glared back towards Morgan with widened eyes, taken aback by the insult. She’d originally planned on getting back into the ring, but that called for a little change of plans.

”You little…”

Halloween scrambled up to her feet and dashed forward, running straight to the barrier. At the last moment, she leaped up, spun about, planted her foot against the metal, then pushed off, turning so fast she nearly shook her pigtails loose. She came dashing back in Morgan’s direction at full speed, closing the small distance with a couple of strides.

She couldn't see Morgan through the apron, but she could guess, and that was where she directed her atack - leaping up, she shot her legs out under the ring, attempting to hit her opponent with a shotgun dropkick.

FOUR!

Morgan was untroubled by the count. She had it all planned out with giving Halloween a little love under the ring, slip out and go back into the ring but then hop back out again. The count resets so it was like another ten count to be had! Plus, it wasn't like it was just ten seconds. It was more like close to a minute or something like that. It all depended on how slowly the referee counted and it seemed like this one was counting slow so Morgan would have been happy...

Would have, because Halloween didn't want to have fun. She gave Morgan a wide-eye glare after the cord strike. Morgan, naturally, grinned mischievously back but that only let Halloween scramble free, escaping from the single ankle grip the blonde had on her.

Sigh....

It was a loud one, not that anyone could hear as Morgan discarded the cord and dropped forward onto her hands and knees to crawl out. No sense in getting DQ'd because that would have been a boring end so intead-

!!!

It was a little bit of a jumpscare. Morgan hadn't anticipated those size 5 boots to emerge back under that apron like a missile. The thing with ring construction was that they had framing on the top half of the border so in if you were to suddenly burst in, you'd have to go in low. That's what Halloween did, missing the rather lethal part of Morgan's head just barely as those boots passed right under the crawling blonde to shear into her breasts, scrapping against her top as those legs continued with their momentum right to the tops of Morgan's thighs.

Morgan toppled right on top of her opponent, face impacting Halloween's collar, forehead hitting her opponent's bony chin.

She sharply inhaled, "Owww!" allowing herself to exhale. Lifting her head back to glare up at her opponent's face. "You kicked my boobs, you little runt!" Morgan whined but didn't extract herself from on top of Halloween and instead slide herself up so they were face to face, stomach to stomach. "Are you going to apologize or what?" She pouted, content on pinning Halloween underneath her for now.

Wrestling could be kind of funny, sometimes. Often, whenever you went for a move, there was the thing you planned on happening in your head and the thing that wound up happening in reality, and a lot of times those two things were worlds apart.

For instance, Halloween imagined, in her head, that she would land the drop kick, knock Morgan down, pull her out onto the floor, then hit her with a Frog Splash off the apron. Primo Luchadora Stuff, classic.

Instead, what wound up happening was…not that.

Halloween’s size 6s did hit, that was good news, but they landed a little lower than the ideal place, striking Morgan’s chest and going all the way to her lower body. It was better than nothing, but it made her come in for an awkward slide, with the blonde flopping down right on top of her.

Right. Down. On. Top of her.

It wasn’t one to one exactly because of the height difference, but she still had Morgan’s chest coming down on hers and her face way, way too close for any semblance of comfort. It was too much weight for her to move, too, so she was effectively stuck until the blonde got off.

”You want me to apologize for kicking you in a wrestling match? Fuck outta here with that.” She squirmed underneath Morgan, trying to get free. Woman was heavier than she looked ”You apologize for whipping me with a dirty-ass extension cord! At least what I did's legal!”
