Finally Minami ended what seemed like a endless storm of kicks from her opponent and sent the girl rolling away from her towards the ropes making Minami smirk slightly as she stood back up, watching as the younger girl tried to stand up, absolutely clueless as to where she was. Perfect. Rushing forward Minami wouldn't allow her foe the chance to think let alone react outside her pathetic guard being raised upwards, not that that would help. No because Minami would jump at the last moment, raising her legs up as she approached, intending to come crashing with a low dropkick aimed at Lovers leg to send her face planting down to the mat!

Lovers was backpedaling now, trying to create some distance between herself and a very driven looking Minami. She kept her guard high, thinking that would be the way to go, but no, her foe was thinking of a lower target - much less. The dropkick came her way, but she delayed it, just long enough to strike the leg instead

Gravity and momentum won out, and Lovers was forced to topple over, barely getting her hands up to keep from eating the canvas. She tried to push her way back up, but her leg was numbed from the hit, and she just wound up falling back to one knee, hobbled for the moment.

Given the force of Minami's momentum the experienced woman would end up halfway under the bottom ropes following her dropkick and with a quick scoot she'd go fully under the bottom rope before pulling herself up so that she was now standing outside the ropes on the apron, staring at the back of her opponent with a predatory grin on her face while gripping the top rope.

Leaping up she would turn to perch on top of it before back flipping off, right towards her opponent as Minami twisted and spun midair, as if she were a gymnast as opposed to a wrestler, only if Minami wasn't spotted before hand she'd remind everyone exactly the kind of wrestler she was as she brought her leg about, swinging it with all the force and speed she could muster to try and drive her heel into Lovers back with a signature move out the gate, The Wolf's Fang!

Nope. That was no fun at all. Not even a little.

Lovers ground her teeth down hard as she tried to deal with the pain in her leg. It wasn’t broken or anything, but Minami had tagged it hard, and the feeling was coming back as a stinging mess. Even she knew how poorly this would go for her in the rest of the match - her style required her to make, to strike, to hit, and the Venus of Submissions likely knew that when she struck.

Lovers had just managed to push past the pain and rise up, when she realized that her opponent was out of sight, and a slight panic ran through her. She heard a sound coming from behind, and started to whirl around to see it…

A kick to the head, a sharp one, rattled Lover’s skull, as Minami hit her with a flying something. Whatever it was, it had the Cutie Cupid spiraling, tumbling, and falling hard on her side. She stayed there for the moment, too, as she rolled about and rubbed her aching skull.
