Generational Battle: "Amazon" Alaina Sanders vs. Valley Doll III

As Alaina was rising she saw Valerie coming in and she was moving fast, far faster than Alaina was capable of. Her arm was grabbed and twist behind her, the pain jolting through almost helping Alaina bolt up but she turned with Valerie right behind her wrenching down on that hold. She was stuck and shaking her head while trying to figure out how to get back into this.

Alaina tried stepping away and ducking low twisting herself so her arm was still held but not at the angle that made the hammerlock hurt. Then if she were fast enough the amazon was trying to pull Valerie with her held arm right at the amazon and into Alaina's extended arm for a clothesline!

Valerie’s mother had warned her about getting too confident with Alaina. Even in her old age, she was still the Comeback Queen, had pulled plenty of matches back from the brink, had the sort of stamina that could outlast most women half her age. This match could flip around in an instant.

But, as she brought Alaina into the hammerlock and kept her under control, there was no stopping the electric thrill that went through her. The momentum was hers, the winds were in her favor…

It only took a couple of seconds for them to start blowing in the other direction. Alaina pulled away and worked her way out of the hold with a deftness that only comes from decades of experience, and the next thing she knew, she was eating the woman’s arm

The blow dropped her, hard and fast, hitting the canvas with an impact that left the audience reeling and hurt every bit as bad as it looked. Valerie stayed down there, too, groaning out her displeasure as she rolled from side to side.

"Whew... still got it." Alaina said as the clothesline connected and she managed to send Valerie to the mat. Alaina pulled Valerie up by the arm and stepped towards the ropes sending her the long away across the ring to bounce off the ropes at the far end. The amazon herself ran the opposite way to build up some momentum and thus the two women would soon be running right at each other!

Alaina was going to go for something a bit different than normal here. She wanted to keep Valerie guessing. Alaina would leap into the air instead of staying grounded and she would try to flatten the incoming Valerie with a running cross body block and roll off, it was far too early for a pin. Alaina could only hope that this attack would surprise the young woman because if she moved or countered the amazon would be in a very bad spot...

Yeah, Alaina was right. She did ‘still have it’, whatever it was. Valerie could only hope she had comparable levels of ‘it’ when she finally reached that age.

That blow knocked the wind out of Valerie, left her stiff, and she would’ve been content to lay on the canvas for a few more moments so she could catch her breath. However, that didn’t seem to be on her opponent’s agenda at all - she had only been down for a few scant instants before the Amazon moved in and pulled her back up, forcing her to rise.

Off to the ropes she went, sent running with an Irish Whip, and when she came running back, she was greeted with an incredible sight: The aging Amazon taking flight, hurling towards her with a flying cross body. Valerie would’ve been hard pressed to catch her in ideal circumstances, and this was far from that. The two crashed and she went down hard, flattened underneath her idol.
