Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
What always did surprise the veteran wrestler was his opponent's ability. No matter how he looked at it, Valerie wrestled like someone years ahead in their career. What she could actually achieve ten years down the line was something he could never predict, given how talented she was. However, right now- he was the veteran, the one with all the years of experience and talent. He had to defeat her. It was even more so important to him given how similar their style was- he was desperate to prove that he was the better wrestler and that no matter how talented she may be- she was still a rookie!
After attempting to take him down, Ryu managed to turn the situation around and instead force his opponent to the mat with him laying across her back and having her trapped in the full nelson. Valerie pushed him, forcing him to get up on his knees and then all the way back up to his feet. Ryu was left a frustrated figure, he cranked up the hold even more now because frustration got the better of him now that she forced him back up.
Valerie kept pushing though, she backed into him all the way until his back hit the turnbuckle forcing a low grunt from him and more importantly, loosening his hold a little. "Dō yatte? Wakaranai… kimi o osae tsukeru ni wa nani ga hitsuyōna nda? [How? I dont understand... what's it going to take to keep you down?]" he muttered, letting his emotions get the better of him slightly because now Valerie would know that she was indeed getting into his head!

Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
Valerie had to concede - perhaps reluctantly - that Ryu’s stamina was impressive. She’d seen the toll that time could take on a wrestler’s body, with both her parents still suffering from aches and pains they’d accrued decades ago. It wasn’t an easy thing to see, and while she didn’t taken the same risks that her predecessor did, she knew that there was a finite number of slams she would be able to take in her career before something gave.
Ryu might’ve been getting up there in years, but it seemed as if he wasn’t quite at his limit, taking no small amount of punishment and still going. His hold was strong, stronger than she would’ve expected given his performance the last time they faced and the damage she’d heaped on him thus far.
But that didn’t mean he would be getting a respite from her - far from it. Valerie intended to keep piling up the damage until he couldn't take anymore. He wanted a test, and he was going to get it. [“More than you have.”][/color]
Valerie threw her arms down hard, breaking out of the weakened hold in a single burst of power. She reached up and behind a second later to snag Ryu’s head, then jerked forward to pull him over, trying to plant him on the canvas with a snapmare.

Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
The cracks were starting to form, both in his physical defense and confidence. He knew that there was no doubt that Valerie was sensing that as well, the more she out-wrestled him, out-powered him, Ryu's confidence was waning. Even when he took control with the full nelson submission to wear her down, it was only a matter of time until the rookie sensation would amaze the crowd and indeed her opponent, by forcing him back against the turnbuckle. It was then, for the first time perhaps, did Ryu showed some sense of desperation when he questioned what would it take to defeat someone like her!
He was desperate to hold onto her, piling on the pressure and cranking it up but even he knew that it was only a matter of time until that would change. Her response annoyed him, really getting on his nerves which further broke his concentration to keep up the submission. "Ore o keibetsu suru nante! ? Omae wa mada shinjindaro! [You dare disrespect me?! You're still just a rookie!]" he would say and then it happened, it one single move Valerie threw her arms down and broke the submission- stunning everyone, especially Ryu.
"N-NANI?! Impossible" he would say, before she reached back to grab his head and swung him over her shoulder, bringing him down to the canvas with a snapmare! "Ughhhhh" he cried out as he landed on his back, before shifting up to a seated position. However, he was still shocked and his confidence was shattered.

Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
‘Just a rookie’.
She supposed Ryo wasn’t wrong, per se. While she had been good enough to forego the Young Lioness program, there was still no denying that Valerie was relatively new to the professional wrestling. She had grown up with wrestling and done amatuer wrestling all throughout high school, but LAW was a different sort of beast.
Yet, she had managed to hold her own. Had managed to beat him. While she respected Ryu, that needed to be a two-way street. [”And yet, I keep beating you.”]
After that salient retort - in her mind, at least - Valerie sent Ryu rolling with the snapmare, but she was far from finished. He sat up soon after that, and her next attack came at him from behind, as she hopped up, wrapped her legs around his head and brought him back down on the mat with a headscissor, flexing her thighs and putting real, skull-crushing force on his head.

Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
Tempers were rising and things were getting just a little heated. As the match went on, Ryu's frustration grew and perhaps do did Valerie's. One could not truly fathom that Valerie was new to the whole pro-wrestling world and was technically a rookie judging by the way she wrestled. However, here she was, challenging and defeating opponents that were considered to be the top LAW talents. After stunning her opponent by brute forcing her way out of the full nelson, she would bring him down to the canvas with a quick snapmare after which he would quickly rise up to a seated position. ]
This time, she would respond back to him and give him a dose of reality that indeed this rookie kept defeating him. He wanted to respond but couldn't, there was nothing he could say because she was right. Her legs wrapped around his head and she went for a scissor. He wanted to rise back up and go for a electric chair drop but she cleverly brought them back down to the mat, now he was truly trapped and in big trouble.
He squirmed on his back, kicking the mats while his hands reached up to grab her thighs to try and create some separation. Ryu aggressively continued to struggle, bridging up and down, jerking to the left and right. "ARGHHHH AHHHHH" his growls of efforts turned into painful screams as....as.....he couldn't escape!

Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
There went the catcalls. Valerie was well aware that there was an energetic part of the LAW fandom who had a fascination with her legs, and she’d even peeked into a few comment sections about it - that was a mistake for her sanity, where she learned things she could’ve gone without noticing. It was a little irritating, but she tried not to let such things bother her, certainly not enough to make her chance tactics. She had big, strong, powerful legs, and she was going to use them.
So far, they were proving to be quite effective. Her thighs bulged and swelled against Ryu’s head, trapping him between the twin pythons. She applied full pressure, pressing hard into his skull with maddening force, and to his credit, Ryu held on and survived. He wasn’t going to give up, not to this.
Fortunately, Valerie still had plenty of options, and one of the better ones was easily accessible from this position. She twisted one way, then rolled hard to the other, flipping them around, putting both facedown on the mat. With his head still trapped between her legs, she planted her palms, pushed up, and began to thrust her hips forward time and time again, ramming Ryu’s face against the mat, over and over.
The crowd loved it, naturally. She could kind of understand why.

Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
The more the match went on, the more exhausted the veteran wrestler seemed to get. It would seem like a natural outcome though but for Ryu, this was no ordinary match exhaustion. His movements were slower than usual, his strength fading away and he seemed to be struggling alot more than usual. Valeria on the other hand showed no signs of slowing down, she was at him one move after the other. Even when he was in control, she would quickly reverse their fortunes and take control.
When it was Ryu's turn to do the same, he had no answer. No, instead Valerie continued to grind and pound him into the mats with her headscissor submission and then turned up the dial ten fold. She rolled the two over, pressed her palms against the mat to push up and then thrust her hips down to slam his face against the mat over and over again. "Urgh! Argh! Gaaah!" he cried out in pain, until he brought his palms against the mat to stop the assault.
He tried to push up onto his knees and pull Valerie up on his shoulders while she still had her legs around his neck, his plan was to go for a electric chair drop but...his strength failed him and he fall forward, back to the position of him being face down and Valerie's legs still around his head as before. "Kuso… omae no ashi ga![Damn....y-your legs]" he simply said, unable to find a way out!

Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
Valerie was more than aware of how silly this might have looked. She used to think the same thing when her mothers used this move, both of them, but it was an effective move. Ramming your opponent’s head against the canvas was never going to deal some real damage, and she had the hips to make it highly effective. The only real downside was having to endure the audience’s catcalls—a small price to pay.
All things considered, Ryu was doing a decent job of hanging in there, even surviving long enough to get his arms up and mount something resembling a defense. It wasn’t enough to get him free of her legs, no, but it stopped the bashing, and for a moment it looked like he might even parlay it into something that could hurt her.
He worked his way up. A little more. A little more…
…no, it wasn’t happening, and as much as she felt sympathy for him, she wasn’t about to let such a good position go without a fight. She cranked up the pressure and ground on him instead, working hard on the skull, pounding away with serious pressure. [“Feel free to give up any point, Ryu-san.”]

Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
It looked like he was about to catch his second wind, a rush of adrenaline when he managed to stop her from pounding his head to the mat again and again whilst his head was trapped in between her legs. From there, he would work his way back up to his knees while carrying her weight on his shoulders. Gripping her thighs, he tried to get back up to his feet but could not muster the strength to do so. Instead, he fell right back down to the mat on the same position. Luckily for him, she did not persist on continuing with smacking his head against the mat anymore but she was still squeezing the fight out of him with her unbelievable leg strength.
The scissors was doing it's job and Ryu was running out of options. "Nrgh....AHHHHH!" a loud moan escaped his lips, providing evidence to Valerie that the Dragon was reaching his limits. ["N-no...not like this! I refuse to submit to a headscissor submission"] he said in defiance. Ryu would start to struggle once again, he would attempt to roll to one side, then the other but never really got enough momentum to get anywhere close to the ropes or even tire his opponent's legs enough to perhaps break free. No, instead he only depleted his own stamina and strength.
On to the next effort. He grabbed her thighs, one with each hand, trying to pull them away from his head to pry her grip open. Her grip was too strong and he was too weak to simply power his way out. No, that wont work. Ryu would start to blindly fire strikes to her thighs, but with his face facing the mats he was simply blind guessing and hoping the strikes had enough force to make her let go.
A couple of strikes later, there was no luck. ["I....I c-can't escape"] he accidentally said out loud, feeling weaker and weaker by the second. It had been almost ten minutes since she had trapped him in the submission and soon he realized that he was out of options. This was a new low for the veteran, he had no choice but to give up. Ryu raised his arm up in the air before slapping the mats three times to signal a submission.
Ryu Hiroshi, a wrestling legend of 25+ experience in the ring, just submitted to a head scissors submission against a 19 year old rookie(using the term loosely) wrestler. The crowd and the referee were left stunned! Immediately, the referee would slide next to them and demand Valerie release her submission. "Okay kid, let him go. He tapped" he said, almost showing a hint of bias towards the wrestling legend.
Time left: 30 minutes.
Valerie: 2
Ryu: 0

Re: Ryu Hiroshi vs Valley Doll III (Part 2)- Beyond Total Victory
Valerie was going to win this.
She didn’t want to come across as cocky or overconfident. She’d been trained to never look down on her opponent or underestimate them, had been given countless examples of wrestlers who found themselves in ‘hopeless situations only to pull themselves out and manage a miracle. It happened all the time.
But she was also taught to be a realist, and as Ryu tapped away at her leg, she had to acknowledge the reality of the situation, even if he wouldn’t. It wasn’t just that she’d beaten him twice in a row, but that she had a relatively easy time of it, and it seemed like he was dangerously close to the end of his rope. The longer this went on, the greater the chances were that it would cross a line.
For now, she followed the officials instructions and rolled away, giving him some space to stand back up. She rose in the center of the ring and leaned forward with her hands on her knees, getting her breath under control before she spoke. ”Are you good to continue, Ryu-san?” Not a taunt, not a joke. Genuine concern.
