Chasing Rainbows

The rumor mill had been swirling around LAW recently, and you could tell from the crowd’s murmuring din that there was an expectation tonight. While the seats were fairly filled up on most nights, with crowds coming from all over to watch the spectacle, today they were packed to bursting and brimming with energy, as everyone in attendance sat ready and waiting. While the dirt sheets could be a notoriously unreliable source of information, today they’d come together in a rare alignment of the stars, as all of their sources agreed on the scuttlebutt.

Someone was coming to LAW. Someone big.

Different names had been thrown about - some said it would be Zangief, the mighty Red Cyclone, while others pegged it as a debuting La Mariposa, the feisty feminine fighter from Brazil. Numerous theories had been thrown out, with some even saying this was just a ploy to drum up ticket sales, but all those naysayers were put to rest when the lights suddenly went out, bathing the audience in darkness.

That changed when a certain

began playing over the loudspeakers. The name of the song was more than enough confirmation for those heavy metal experience, but for everyone else, the silhouette that appeared at the top of the ramp was more than enough confirmation. Those long pigtails could only belong to one wrestler, and were the lights came up, they had their confirmation.

The lights revealed the woman in full and the crowd erupted, much as Mika had expected. For many of these fans, she was the epitome of Japanese wrestling - everything the sport could be at its best, everything it stood for, its essence. While she didn’t like to put herself on such a pedestal, others had done it for her so often that there was little use in denying it. She made her way down to the ring with proud strides, slappinG hands along the way as the crowd chanted her name.

”MI-KA! MI-KA!”

She leaped up on the apron, slipped into the ring, and promptly caught a microphone that was tossed her way. After she made a quick circuit around the ring, she promptly stood in the middle, waited for everyone to die down - as much as they would ever - and raised her fist high in the sky. "Yeah, that's right!" She nodded from side to side, amping up the crowd. "The rumors are true, you didn't hear wrong. After years and years, I've finally made it where I belong - that's right, Rainbow Mika is officially in LAW!"

Those words alone were enough to whip the crowd into a frenzy, putting all their suspicions to rest. Rainbow Mika had been talked for years about how she wanted to get into LAW, the world’s most diverse wrestling company, but it seemed like no time had ever been the right time…until now. She’d bitten the bullet, and she could already tell it was the right choice, as the audience showered her with an unmatched energy, the sort she hadn't felt since her earliest days. This was exactly the vibe she needed.

"But I didn't just come here to talk." She wagged her finger at the crowd with a playful grin. "They told me that LAW was where the best wrestled, so I want to make sure they didn't sell me a bill a bad goods. I'm making the challenge, here and now! Anyone in the back come out here and face me! Any match you want. Name the stip and we'll make history. Because I'm ready and you'd better be ready, too - enter this ring and you will TASTE. THE. RAINBOW!"

And with her signature phrase (borrowed thanks to a licensing agreement with Skittles), she tossed the microphone over to the timekeeper, turned back to the ramp and began to bounce on her heels, getting warmed up as she waited for someone to answer the call. She was already going through a list of people she wanted to see show up, a list that included at least ⅓ of the entire roster, and her heart raced as she waited for the reveal.

She could feel it in her bones. A dream match was about to happen.

In the wide, wide world of wrestling, it was admittedly quite rare that a star performer was able to rise above the sometimes niche community that followed wrestling and into the more mainstream eye that included the rest of combat sports as a whole! Rarer still was a wrestler that could rise further and become a household name, known by damn near everyone, whether they were a wrestling fan, combat sports fan, or someone who was completely blind to both of those worlds. However, if there was one woman who had broken that barrier and then some, it was none other than the woman who had just made her way out to the ring, the well-known and universally loved blonde bombshell, Rainbow Mika. And now here she was in LAW, a microphone in her hand and the ring as her stage, calling out someone, anyone, to come challenge her.

Needless to say, backstage had become quite the mess as a result. Potential challengers rushed this way and that, crew struggled to figure out who was going where and what music they might need to play, all while the fervor from the fans grew. But one woman was sitting cool as a cucumber. She had heard the rumors and despite the industry not trying to get hopes up lest they be let down, she had taken them fully seriously. Clad in her wrestling attire already, she strode confidently past the chaos and through the backstage workers, giving them a slight nod to know that she'd be beating out those trying to scramble to get ready. And so they'd announce her arrival by shining a spotlight to the top of the ramp, where Rainbow Mika's very first challenger would step out to make her presence known.

The woman revealing herself as none other than the rowdy, lewd, and especially flashy luchadora sensation, Black Swan!

A notable edition to the luchadora's entrance was a microphone, one she cheekily waved to the fans from the top of the ramp, but the crowd had come alive once more thanks to the entrance of the fan favorite masked wrestler, and so she'd let them continue cheering as she made her way down! Swan was sure to swing her hips side to side, put a little bounce in her step, and all the other little things that made her entrance so... jiggly, but she'd finally straighten herself up when reaching the ring, hopping up onto the apron and leaning against the ropes, locking eyes with the woman inside! And as she raised the mic, it was clear that she had something to say to the traveled veteran!

"Rainbow Mika! You know, I always wondered if we'd meet in the ring. I gotta say, even though it might not be very becoming of me, I am a huge, huge fan! So standing across from you... I hope you don't mind some stars in my eyes!" Swan's words were legitimate, though there was a slight teasing tone in her voice, clearly hinting some mischief afoot! "But I never, EVER thought that I'd see you here! Right here in LAW, a place I'd consider like home... and making challenges to anyone and everyone in attendance!"

By now, Swan had slipped herself between the ropes, entering the ring and beginning to walk up to Mika. And upon reaching her, she'd begin a slow circle around the blonde, continuing to talk on the mic as she did so!

"Don't worry, I won't take it personally that you didn't call me here by name! Sweet as it would have been for you to do so. But now that I'm here, I suppose it wouldn't do to give you just a standard, run of the mill match type. After all, that's not a proper LAW welcome. And don't you wanna see her get a proper LAW welcome?" Swan paused, turning the mic to the roaring crowd, letting them cheer in excitement once more before she went back to circling Mika. "So, you and I are gonna get busy with something... still a little tame, for my tastes, but it should give you a nice glimpse of what you're in for."

All of the sudden, Swan would swing around to Mika's front, before turning and pressing her back into the blonde. Leaning into her, Swan could feel Mika's chest smush against her back, their legs brush together, and as she brought a free hand up, she'd gently stroke the back of Mika's head, leaning her own onto the muscled shoulder behind her. It was as if Swan was trying to melt into her, a position usually reserved for lovers, and just to make Mika all the more aware of that, the luchadora would most notably press her thick, plump rear end into the hips of the blonde superstar. She'd tilt her head ever so slightly so that her lips gently teased Mika's ear, and whisper to her, holding the microphone close enough so that everyone could hear what she was saying.

"Smother match. Best of three. You and me. Right here... right now..."

Rainbow Mika had a long, exhaustive list of wrestlers she wanted to swap sweat with now that she was in LAW, one that seemed to grow every time she tuned into the promotion. One of the main reasons she came here was its high turnover rate, with wrestlers from all over the world migrating there like it was some pro wrestling Mecca. For someone like her, always keen on wrestling the absolute best, she couldn't have asked for more - a chance to take on the widest variety of opponents possible.

It was only a matter of who would be stepping up, and that question was answered in short order: Black Swan. "Oh, yeah!"

Needless to say, Rainbow Mika was highly aware of this woman, having an extensive history in LAW. She was pretty much impossible to miss if you’d been watching for any real length of time, having crossed paths with many of the more prominent names through the years. While she might not have been at the tippy-top of Rainbow’s list, she couldn't have asked for much better when it came to her first LAW match - someone to ease her into things, give her the full experience. So far, so promising.

And things would only get more interesting from there.

Rainbow Mika stood straight, hands on hips and a smirk on her face, as her future opponent made her way around her, having no qualms with the woman getting a better look. She was taken off guard - at first - when Black Swan backed up into her, pressing into her with a lover’s caress. She was no fool - she’d known this sort of thing was commonplace in the promotion, and it was even one of the main reasons she’d come, wanting to up her experience with the more erotic aspects that wrestling leaned towards these days. She just hadn't expected Black Swan to go for the gusto before the bell even rang.

All at once, her opponent was melting into her, stroking her, whispering into her ears, and there was no hiding the surprise. Rainbow Mika’s cheeks took on a rosy hue and her arm slipped around Black Swan’s chest, pressing her even closer…

Until the match was made.

Rainbow Mika had a hearty laugh, then reached up, brought her hand to Black Swan’s face, and pulled her in for a wild kiss, a heated moment of untamed passion before she pulled away and spun about. "So you want to go cheek-to-cheek with the best in the business, huh?" Rainbow Mika gave her butt a

and pointed Black Swan’s way. "You're on, sister!" She raised her fist high into the sky as the crowd cheered and thousands of fingers began furiously texting, beaming with the anticipation of an epic moment. "Let's get a ref down here!"
