Sammi Defoe vs Vera Sapphire

As Sammi was determined to once again prove herself against the wall put in front of her that was Vera Sapphire, the blunette would launch her towards the ropes, especially upon the encouragement from the small pinkette!

Winding up her attack, Vera would successfully drive her hand across Sammi's chest, driving her back into the ropes with a large red spot on her chest! Still, she rebounded off the ropes once more towards the blunette, Once she got close, she used the force of her rebound to drive her forearm across Vera's chest!

"OOF!"

Surprisingly to Vera, Sammi managed to deliver quite a hard blow! It drove air out of Vera's lungs, and made her back up a step...

...but it wasn't enough to take her off her feet.

If Sammi was standing after her strike, Vera would approach her rival, continuing the strike exchange with another Knife Edge Chop!

Sammi's blow against Vera was mostly born from luck and instinct! It would take the perky pinkette a while to realize that she was able to use the momentum from Sapphire's own chop to throw a strike that the heavyweight beauty would actually feel! The audience responded to her forcing her bigger foe back a step! Sammi would place her hands on her knees and catch her breath!

"Phew.... pant.... pant....!" The Lioness collected, herself near Vera!

"Alright! I can do this! I can-"

SMAAACK!!!

Defoe stood up straight and psyched herself up! And the moment she did, Vera chopped her across the chest so hard that not only did the sound of the chop connecting ring out throughout the arena, but Sammi went down in a heap as well!

Defoe was once again laid out! She was back in the familiar position of being splayed out on the mat at the feet of the bigger, stronger, more experienced Vera Sapphire! Only this time, she was clutching her rapidly reddening chest and coughing desperately for air!

Vera would exhale after slamming her arm into Sammi's chest, slightly disappointed in the match and herself. She didn't want to be the small lady's executioner. She wanted to take her on a date and get to know her over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, not chop her chest till it was red...or worse, purple.

With Sammi coughing for air in a heap, Vera decided to finally try and give her pinkette foe an out, planting her big body over her, as she hooked her leg, the ref approaching to count the pin!

"ONE!"

That chop rang Sammi's bell good! The perky pinkette went down and stayed down at the feet of the more mature, more experienced, more capable woman!

Though many fans did flock to the energy and the bright smiles and movements Defoe brought to the ring, when Vera covered her, they began to realize the reality of the situation. That in the match, Sammi was outclassed!

"ONE....!" The referee counted. Even the striped-shirt woman officiating this match breathed a sigh of relief. Even the ref thought this was over!

"TWO.....!"

"TH-NO!" It wasn't much! There was hardly enough force in that kick out to turn her own lithe frame! There certainly wasn't enough force to push Vera off her person! But little Sammi turned over and broke the pin!

"Hey...." Defoe said breathlessly. She could hardly keep herself going. Yet there was a fire in her voice as she struggled and staggered to get up!

"You're my debut match! You're THE Vera Sapphire! You're good enough to become the first Queen of The Ring! Good enough to become a Heavyweight Champion!" Sammi slowly found her way to her knees and then pushed up!

"If you're gonna put me down, do it properly! And do it with a smile!" Sammi smiled. Determination somehow shone through her tired face and drooping hair!

"Or else....!"

If left undeterred, Sammi would once again rush at Vera! But this time, rather than throw herself at Sapphire headlong, Sammi would look to zip past the heavyweight and attempt to hook an arm over the thicc, shapely waist of her rival and get behind her! From here, Sammi would try to hook an arm between Vera's thighs and drop low to try and catch the Russian Blunette by surprise with a sudden Schoolboy Pin!

"I just might catch you off guard!" Defoe would smile as she went for this hail Mary!

"Mgh!" Vera let out in dissatisfaction at Sammi's kick out. She understood why she did, however. It felt embarrassing to just quit here...to lose to a simple chop in the tournament. To lose when she executed 0 offense on her opponent.

Vera would get up to a knee as Sammi addressed her. Both women would get back up their feet as Sammi would now be the one to motivate Vera to fight her all out! Vera was still doubtful, not wanting to completely crush the small woman's dreams...

...only for Sammi to suddenly zip past Vera, wrapping her arm around her leg and hip! Vera would trip backwards, with her shoulders on the canvas! The equally shocked ref proceeded to count:

"ONE!"

"TWO!

"NO!"

The shock wouldn't be enough to keep Vera down for the 3 count as she kicked her legs up, trying to throw Sammi off of her!

"It's like this, right? I've seen enough Vera matches to know." Sammi's words echoed out, cutting through the crowd's reactions to the kick out!

The perky pinkette had been getting dominated all match, but the moment Vera kicked out, she seemed to move with purpose, faster and more efficiently than she had before! When the big, beautiful bluenette bucked Defoe off her person, whether she meant to or not, Sammi used the momentum from Sapphire's kick out to propel herself toward the nearest corner! By the time anyone got these on Sammi again, the Young Lioness already had her hands and feet on the top ropes and top turnbuckle! She had jumped up there with one quick, fluid motion!

Sammi quickly stood up! She balanced herself seemingly effortlessly! It could have been her dancer background, it could have been the trance-like state she was in! But in this moment, Sammi called upon her knowledge of Vera's extensive match history and leaped from the top rope, flipping backward in an arc! The sudden shock of this turn of events and the speed Defoe was moving with gave her hope that she could pull this off before the Russian veteran could rise to her feet!

It wouldn't be one of the dominant ring-shakers that Vera was known for dishing out! But Sammi would get some impressive height as she channeled the idea that imitation was the highest form of flattery! Little Sammi Defoe would look to fly high before coming down onto Vera with Vera's own signature Moonsault from the top rope! And if she managed to connect, she would stay on top of Sapphire, her head resting on the curvy woman's formidable chest for the cover!

Despite what this match might've looked like, Sammi actually might've had more on Vera chronologically. She didn't start out as a wrestler, after all, and started to train professionally relatively late in her life. Because of that, and her power and show-offy style, Vera could struggle with basics sometimes, lacking a bit of actual "wrestling" experience. As such, catching the big blunette by surprise with a roll up was a valid strategy to take her down!

Kicking out, Vera couldn't mutter under her breath: "Ах ты маленькая..." as she tried to rise back to her feet...

Only to feel something small collide into her at high speed a few extremely short seconds later!

"GUUAAAGH!!!"

Vera could feel Sammi's head resting against her chest, trying to take a breath as the ref fell down on her knees to count the fall once more!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"NO!"

Still, Vera kicked off the cover after the Moonsault! Sammi wasn't wrong, she was indeed managing to catch her off guard with an insane pace!

Sammi was still in a trance when she laid on top of the buxom bluenette for the pin! Whether or was fully intentional or not, she copied Vera's own signature Moonsault to catch her opponent by surprise!

Defoe seemed to be moving entirely on instinct! There was no part of her that was sure this would work! But the fans rallied behind her when the petite, perky pinkette lined up Vera for what could very well be the biggest upset of the tourney!

"Ah?!" Sammi seemed to come to her senses when Vera kicked out a second time! With just as much authority as the last one! This time, the momentum from Vera's kick out pushed Sammi up to her feet, but rather than move at a frenetic pace again, Sammi stuttered for a moment and found her footing!

"Phew!" Defoe wiped the sweat from her brow. She shook her head to and fro, making her big, pink afro rotate along with her!

It took Sammi a moment to find her bearings! Her face was red with blush and strains of effort! Her body language gave away the fact that even she didn't know how she turned the tides against a top talent like Vera Sapphire, even if just for a second! But she was sure that she needed to do something before Vera could turn the tables on her again!

"Okay okay okay. Gotta do something. Gotta capitalize. How do I take down someone like Vera?! Ummm going to the top worked right?! I'll do that again!" Sammi thought out loud to herself, channeling a bunch of nervous yet excited, infectious energy!

Sammi took a moment to bring her back to the same corner that she had jumped from a moment ago! But this time, rather than scale her way to the top rope in a couple seconds, she gripped the top rope to her left and right, and went up slowly step by step! It was as if she lost the agility she had just a short while ago!

If she was left uninterrupted, The Young Lioness would find her way up to the top turnbuckle/top rope again! It would take her a moment to steady herself! Vera would have plenty of time to rise to her feet! And after several seconds, when Sammi was finally ready, she would take flight once more and launch herself towards Vera! The pinkette would throw her legs forward with what seemed like her attempt at a Dropkick from the top rope! But with questionable form and her feet further apart than they should have been!
