Kyo was gasping like a dying man now, breathing in a hoarse, ragged gasp as he lay toppled on his side. He knew, from just as painful experience, how hard Valley's blows were, and this was a brutal reminder of that.
His face was red, both from being out of breath and from embarassment at the situation. The match was barely a few seconds old and already he was lying on his side, breathing hoarsely, as Valley casually dominated him. All of his planning, all of his strategizing...it had all gone literally out the window the moment the match had begun, and now he was absolutely powerless against his blonde opponent. He grimaced, willing himself to roll onto his hands and knees and get back up...
A heavy weight smashed down against his back, causing him to grunt loudly as he was flattened against the mat. He felt Valerie mounting him in a classic amateur wrestling position...and then her arms were snaking around his midriff, fingers locking under his sore abdomen, and then suddenly his entire midsection was compressed in an iron vice-like grip. He gagged, involuntarily, as the steel girders that were Valerie's arms coiled tightly around him, feeling like they were compressing muscle and bone alike all into one bruised, pulverized mass.
Kyo's ragged breathing intensified, that breath becoming more difficult now that Valerie was squeezing into him from behind, his ribs feeling like they were slowly being caved inwards from the grip. Clenching his teeth, Kyo allowed himself to respond on instinct-- he swivelled his legs around, trying to get up into a sitting position, his hands gripping at Valerie's wrists in an effort to pry them loose. All the while, of course, his core felt like it was on fire. Feeling Valerie still pressed tightly against his back, Kyo would also try to shoot an elbow back, hoping to hit a shoulder, her side, her face...anything, so long as it loosened her hellish grip...

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
The move might not have seemed like much to the naked eye - after all, when was the last time anyone won with a bearhug of any kind, much less one delivered to a downed foe? But there was a real method to Valerie’s madness, and Kyo would definitely realize it. She didn’t squeeze mindlessly on him but instead contracted as he breathed, clamping down tight to deny him more and more air. She doubted she could knock him out like this, but she could induce hypoxia, weakening his body denying it the oxygen it needed. Such moves would pay dividends, and she started her investment when the match was young.
It was working out well so far. She fought her instinct to worry about him when she heard the ragged breaths. It was the referees job to look after him, and if things got too serious, she would rely on her to do her job and end things. Her job was just applying pressure, which she did without hesitation, slicing into her ribs with her crushing muscles.
He wasn’t going to take it, though, and made his bid for an escape, fighting and working up to a base, even as she stayed attached and ground his midsection to a pulp. He tired to pry her fingers apart, but she held fast, locking them together tight. An elbow came flying back next, an errant desperate blow that cracked her hard against the face, though it lacked some of the sting it might’ve had if Kyo was at his best.
It didn’t matter, it was still more than Valerie wanted to take at this juncture. She was going to have to let Kyo go…but that didn’t mean she would more it an easy release.
Valerie planted her feet and lifted Kyo up as she rose, bringing his feet off the canvas. She gave him one, final squeeze, then arched her back, opened her arms, and attempted to send him flying with a German Suplex, hurling towards the far corner of the ring with the mighty throw.

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Kyo felt his elbow impact against something-- Valley's face, perhaps-- and then the hellish grip around his midsection slackened a little. But only just a little: while Kyo no longer felt like his waist was being squeezed down into a liquid state, Valley still had a firm grip around him. He was breathing hoarsely, and every breath made his torso feel like it was on fire. He reared his arm back, ready for another strike--
--and then suddenly Valley was arching back, pulling him with her...and then he was airborne, sailing backwards, the crowds momentarily turning upside down as he went sailing through the air...
And then came the crash. With a bone jarring impact, Kyo slammed, frontally, against the corner post. Pain exploded across his whole body from the impact, and he slumped, face-down, with his body sprawled against the ropes. Though he was barely aware of it past the pain, the crowd was going wild now, many excited over just how dominant Valley was, some others unable to believe how utterly Kyo was getting destroyed.
And this match still had half an hour to go...

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
This was going well. This was almost going too well.
Valerie wasn’t naive enough to not realize what was going on here. Kyo was, in many ways, her equal, if not her superior, and if they could magically restart the match with him healed up, she knew that this would all likely go a much different way. The tables could easily have turned, and she could’ve been the one in this same predicament.
But the initiative was hers, and she’d made the most of it, coming out strong from the start and reaping the rewards. She couldn't help but be satisfied with that.
Her streak of successful moves continued, as she scored another hard hit, nailing him with a deadlift version of the German Suplex. She looked over her shoulder and saw him languishing on the mats, looking out of it, konked out. Pinnable? Maybe. It seemed like too much to ask out of life, but she had to give it a shot. Valerie rolled over, crawling forward, grabbed him by the shoulder to pull him over, then threw her chest on top of his while she scooped his legs up, going for the pinfall. The referee was quicker on the draw this time, and promptly slid over to start the count.
”1…!”

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Kyo's main feeling right now was a dull, throbbing morass of pain all across his body. Valerie had been utterly dominating him from the start, using that impressive strength of hers to just ragdoll him from one corner of the ring to the other. As he lay sprawled up against the turnbuckle, he found it almost impossible to move. He shook his head, trying to clearly the cobwebs...dimly aware of his fans shouting for him to get back up. Of Makie screaming more loudly than all of them combined...
Then he was pulled out from the corner, and Valerie was pinning him, her chest pressing down against his. He gasped, trying to arch up,, hoping to twist and get a shoulder up. He couldn't let Valerie score another pinfall so soon into their bout...

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
The referee’s hand was just coming down for the second count when Kyo jolted out of the pin, denying her a second point in as many minutes. Valerie rolled off, then spun over to her knees, looking back at him and fighting away the disappointment - no, it wouldn’t be that easy, she should know better. She’d caught him off guard, but that would only have diminishing returns.
Work with this. Build off of it. ”Okay. Okay…”
Valerie breathed deep, steeled herself, and reached over to grab Kyo’s arm, gripping it tight as she stood up and pulled him along with her. As soon as they were up on both feet, she grounded herself, pulled him in, and brought her leg up to drive her knee right into his stomach, shooting it deep in the breadbasket to drive all the wind out of her opponent and drive him into the nearest corner.

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Kyo grunted as he rolled just in time to get a shoulder up. That had been close. Too close, he noted: since the start of this match, he had managed to get almost no offence in, being left to the mercy of Valerie and her relentless strikes and slams. The blonde had clearly done her homework after their match and after their brief spar together...better than Kyo even, it seemed.
Rolling onto his side, Kyo took a deep gasp of air, trying to right himself, to get up and over onto his feet again. He felt Valerie grabbing at his arm to yank him up. Hurting as he was, Kyo wasn't completely helpless: balling a fist, he tried to swing back up at Valerie, to nail her with a solid punch into her abdomen to hopefully force her back!

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
In the back of Valerie’s head, a small part of her worried that she might’ve been overdoing it. While she was trained to ignore that small part and not let it hinder her work, it was still there regardless, nagging at her, telling her to slow things down lest she seriously hurt Kyo. It was the same voice she had whenever she sparred with her brother or her parents, but this was the first time it had ever really come up when wrestling someone she wasn’t related to, and she couldn't help but speculate why that was.
Whatever the case, those worries were unfounded - Kyo still had real fight left in him. She drilled him into the corner, but he was quick to retaliate in kind, throwing a stiff punch to her midsection as she was coming to follow up. The blow sunk deep into her stomach and made her step back as she clutched her side, but that was all - she wasn’t about to give up this precious ground so easily.
Valerie moved in a moment later, brought her hand, and sent it crashing down into his chest with her full weight behind it, looking to light his chest up with an open-handed chop.

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Kyo took a moment's satisfaction, such as it was, as his fist ploughed into Valerie's firm midsection. He took no pleasure in hurting her; indeed, a small part of him was concerned that he might be overdoing it. Those concerns, however, were secondary compared to the need for survival. And here, in the ring with Valley Doll, he was very much in a fight for survival.
His punch brought him a few extra seconds. A few extra seconds, unfortunately, that Valley quickly used, coming right back at him again with an open handed-chop to the chest. Even though it was but a chop, it was Valerie who was delivering it, and so it caused his upper body to rock from the impact, making Kyo gasp from the blow. He slumped a little, breathing hard now, his respiration a bit more ragged after that precise blow from Valerie-- a blow no doubt meant to slow him down even further by making him struggle for breath. Damn it all, she was too good...

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
After they’d both fought and spared, Valerie would think - would hope - that Kyo would know better than to hold back against her. Losing, she could take. It was simply a part of being a competitor, and she was good about turning her defeats into learning experiences, not blaming them on her opponent but seeing her problem areas.
One thing she could not, would not stand for was a watered-down match. She was going to get the absolute best Kyo Akumatsu, even if she had to beat it out of him.
She pressed her advantage with the chop, storming after him as he reeled and giving him no space. Valerie pushed him into the corner and pushed her body against him, pinning his body to the pads with her frame, before she stepped back, grabbed hold of his arm, and sent him running off to the opposite corner with an Irish Whip.
