Re: El Rey de Cielo vs. Valley Doll III - The Lighter Side of Things
And the trend of Valerie attempting moves she wasn’t 100% sure she could pull off continued.
Granted, she had used this move before, so she was perfectly certain she could do it in theory, but she had never attempted it on anyone bigger than herself. While she had already shown that she could lift the man, lifting him with a move like this was a wholly different affair, and there was a real chance it could’ve gone poorly and ended up with her falling flat on her back. Or worse. Much worse.
Thankfully, this wasn’t one of the darker timelines, and she managed to pull him up and over without a hitch, dropping her with a cacophonous slam that was only drowned out by the roaring crowd. She checked every box on the list, perfectly arching her back, locking her fingers for extra security, even standing on her tiptoes to get the tiny bit of added leverage.
One, two, thr-
Valerie grunted in frustration as El Rey escaped at the last second, throwing her off just as the referee’s hand came down for the final count. She turned over and slapped the mat, letting her frustration out, but she tightened her fist in the next moment to keep things under control. She was in the driver’s seat. She could bring this match home. She just had to keep her wits about her and end this, and she knew exactly how.
Valerie pushed her way up and stepped back, going to the furthest corner away from El Rey. Once there, she dropped down in a three-point stance, bouncing on her heels like a lineman, preparing for the charge. She stayed in position, tensed up, waiting as her opponent stood up and turned around. The moment she had a good shot, she bolted forward, closed the distance, dipped down and threw her shoulder into his stomach with everything she had, looking to nail him with a devastating Spear.

Re: El Rey de Cielo vs. Valley Doll III - The Lighter Side of Things
Rolling backwards was already a bit disorienting, forced to do a complete backwards tumble that was not of his own volition had a surprising effect on El Rey's balance, and when he was eventually pulled back up to his feet, it wasn't for long enough that he could recover! Instead, he was wrenched upwards and over by Valerie, and before he knew it, he was crushed into the canvas via a brutal bridging suplex, Valerie holding on tight as she attempted to put an end to this match by holding the masked man's shoulders to the mat! The referee slid in, and for a moment, it looked as though Valerie had brought this match to a climactic finish. That was, of course, before El Rey suddenly surged at the very last second, breaking free of the pin and flopping over onto his stomach, just barely able to keep himself in the bout, though he was still on the backfoot!
El Rey was a bit too busy picking himself up off the canvas as Valerie vented her frustrations, but he was plenty aware that she was doing much better than him, hearing the thudding on the canvas that meant she had already gotten back up to her feet. As he slowly pushed his way to his hands and knees, he soon was able to see where she had gone. A glimpse of her boots in the corner told him her location, but he was still dazed, and puzzling out her motivations for going there was not quite above "get up" on his list of priorities.
However, once he had managed to push himself up to his feet, it certainly would shoot up that list, because Valerie suddenly took off, and as she thundered towards El Rey, it became clear that she planned on forcefully breaking him in half! It was do or die time, and El Rey was far more partial to the option that wasn't dying! An so as Valerie lowered her body, the masked man would jump, leaping up and spreading his legs to let Valerie's shoulder pass completely underneath him!
"No you don't!" He had jumped over her, but he didn't totally clear her. Nor was he planning to. Instead, El Rey would come down on Valerie's back as she charged back, and with a quick move, he wrapped his legs around her waist, before he swung his upper body forwards! It was tight timing, but he did it all in one swift motion, and as he swung forwards, he looked to swing his body into Valerie's legs and yank them right out from under her, swinging her all the way over and absolutely slamming her down onto the canvas with a powerful code red counter!

”Come on.” Valerie muttered under her breath as El Rey moved into position. ”Get up. Get up. Getupgetupgetupgetup…”
She raised on her tiptoes, preparing to bolt forward at a moment’s notice, knowing she would need to get all of her power to finish him off with this move. He’d take the Chaos Theory, and while he’d only managed to kick out at the last second, she didn’t want to take any chances. He’d already shown a marked ability to turn the tables on her instantly, so the sooner she shut him down, the better.
Thankfully, her Spear was a solid go-to for this situation. She was confident about her ability to hit it, and she couldn't imagine him dodging out of the way at this stage. Just a little bit higher, almost there, and-
Valerie rushed forward, ducked down, and prepared to Spear the man clean in half, only for…something to happen.
She honestly wasn’t sure on the details, with it all happening in a flurry of movement that couldn't have lasted longer than a second. One moment he was there; the next he was totally gone, there was a weight on her back, and she was sent flipping and flying over, in a path that ended when she came crashing down hard on her back. Valerie let out a silent scream and rolled away to the corner as she nursed her back, feeling like she’d just taken a baseball bat to the spine.

Re: El Rey de Cielo vs. Valley Doll III - The Lighter Side of Things
When El Rey leaped up into the air, he could practically feel the wind rush underneath him as Valerie just barely missed her spear, the blow certainly of the match ending variety, but thanks to El Rey's surprisingly nimble movement, he wasn't currently in two pieces on the canvas. Instead, he was still in one piece, and that one piece had landed squarely atop Valerie's back, his legs wrapping around her waist to secure himself, before he quickly threw himself forwards, pulling her backwards, further and further, until her legs flew from beneath her! From there, momentum and gravity did most of the work, and soon the pair spun rapidly before Valerie slammed into the canvas, a hefty thud echoing throughout the entire arena, as El Rey succeeded in his reversal! A massive swing that brought the match back into his favor!
And yet, Valerie still managed to roll away. Well, she was certainly nothing if not tough. However, as the blonde rolled backwards, she pushed herself closer to the corner of the ring, and with momentum on his side, El Rey needed to capitalize now more than ever, lest she manage to regain her composure!
With those thoughts in mind, the masked man popped up to his feet, stomping quickly after Valerie in an effort to not let her get too far away, before reaching down to collect her and hauling her upwards, now moving with deft quickness! The masked man didn't waste any movement as he immediately turned and tossed Valerie towards the corner of the ring, whipping her into it so her back hit the buckles hard, and in the likely event that she bounced off of them, he was ready!
"HAH!" With one powerful, sharp cry, El Rey would turn sideways, plant his foot on the mat, and swing his other directly up and into Valerie's jaw, intending to rock her with a perfectly timed superkick! The force of his boot would hopefully all land directly on her chin, and he'd blast her while she was still stuck in the corner, leaving flat on her ass if he managed to pull it off!

Re: El Rey de Cielo vs. Valley Doll III - The Lighter Side of Things
When things got intense, Valerie had a tendency to zone out and forget there even was an audience, tuning out everything outside of the ring. It wasn’t a phenomenon unique to her, either. Her mothers called it ‘Wrestler Vision’—when a wrestler grew so focused, so intense, that the world melted away, and all other stimuli faded out. You might as well have been in an empty arena.
She had been thoroughly detached in the moment before, but now she was coming out of it and growing rapidly aware of how the crowd was reacting.
”Let’s go, Valley!”
“Let’s go, Rey!”
”Let’s go, Valley!”
“Let’s go, Rey!”
Valerie didn’t need the crowd’s support to carry on, but she had to concede their support wasn’t the worst thing to have in a situation like this, where her body was failing her and her mind was reeling. It was a struggle to even get back up after a reversal like that, but El Rey came along to ‘help’, moving in fast and pushing her back up against the turnbuckle. Too stunned to make sense of things, she smacked against the pads and fell forward, destined to come down flat on her face.
That was, of course, until her chin had the misfortune of meeting with El Rey’s boot, crashing into her face at 100 MPH. Valerie’s body shot up, ramrod straight, eyes to the ceiling, before she fell forward and collapsed, coming down right on her chest. Not unconscious, but not moving much, either.

Re: El Rey de Cielo vs. Valley Doll III - The Lighter Side of Things
The sudden reversal of Valerie's match-ending spear into something far less good for her must have been like a bucket of cold water to the face, but El Rey couldn't spare any time to feel bad for her, lest he lose the advantage he had just created for himself! Once she rolled away from him, he would rise and be on top of her before she could get very far, and to that end he'd chase her down and grab hold of her to heft her back up to her feet. She still had the energy to rise on her own, but El Rey was very aware that he was doing more than his share of the work in getting her back up, and that meant that she wasn't prepared to deal with his next move, a sudden turn and toss that saw Valerie sailing into the turnbuckles. And then, as she bounced off...
As much as he didn't like to toot his own horn, El Rey couldn't have called that superkick anything other than perfect. Valerie's head whipped back, hard, and her hair flew out behind her as his boot slammed into her chin, the entire force of his body managed to be put behind it. And from there, there was no holding herself up, as Valerie fell forwards, not even attempting to break her own fall! It looked like it hurt, and El Rey hoped it hurt enough to keep her down.
Grabbing hold of her, he pulled her just far enough away from the corner to make sure the ropes didn't interfere, before he would push her onto her back, letting her flop over before laying down across her, and hooking one of her legs. He raised it up high, laying his full weight atop her as the referee slid into place, hand hitting the mat as they began their count yet again!
"ONE!"
"Just... stay down..." El Rey breathed, mostly to himself, hoping that he had done enough to keep Valerie down and earn himself the win, praying that the ref's count would hurry up!
"TWO!"

…
…
…what?
Where was Valerie? She was on her back; she could feel that. Looking up at the ceiling. A big ceiling, too. Like the one you’d expect in an arena, far above her head. And there was a cheering crowd, too. A rather loud one. It felt like she was laying on a canvas. Was she in a match?
”1…!”
Valerie jumped when she heard a slap near her head - or tried to jump. There was a weight on top of her. A lot of weight. The kind of weight you would expect from another human being. She looked up to see there was rather large masked man on top of her, pinning her down, muttering for her to stay down while a referee counted.
El Rey de Ceilo.
Everything came back to Valerie in an instant, her mind completely resetting the moment the referee’s hand hit the mat for a second. As the hand came up for a final time, she winched, dug deep, and threw her hands up in an explosive burst, getting her shoulder up at the last second and narrowly avoiding defeat - for the moment.
”No!” She yelped out the word and turned to her side. She was still groggy from the kick, but her senses were returning fast, and she tried her best to squirm out from underneath him.

Re: El Rey de Cielo vs. Valley Doll III - The Lighter Side of Things
Valerie didn't seem to be moving at all. As El Rey lay atop his opponent, her leg hooked high into the air, the lack of any kind of struggling from the blonde seemed to fill him with a bit of relief, as the referee moved in to begin counting, the pinfall taking far too long to complete for his liking. He watched the official's hand slap the mat once, and still nothing from Valerie. Twice, and... was that a bit of motion? El Rey tried to ignore it, laying down atop her with as much weight as he could put down on her to keep her underneath him, praying that he had done enough. And as the referee's hand rose for a third time, beginning it's trip down to the canvas, he closed his eyes and waited for the final count...
That wouldn't end up coming.
Valerie's sudden jerk from underneath him shoved his body through sheer willpower, and El Rey was jostled from atop her as she pushed her shoulder up, breaking his pin just an instant before she would have lost the match! El Rey was baffled by the fact that she managed to break herself free, but even now, she didn't let up after getting out from his pin, slowly beginning to wriggle and writhe underneath him. Clearly he'd need more to keep her down, but at this point, he wasn't sure what sort of thing could actually put her down for the three count. Regardless of what it would take, it was clear that he needed to start moving!
"Alright, fine then... Up you go!" He said, slowly pushing himself off of Valerie, standing up and pulling her along for the ride. Once he was up, he'd go back to the well, turning and whipping her towards the ropes, but this time, instead of meeting her with a kick, he'd rush straight along behind her, throwing his hefty frame as hard into the blonde as he could once she hit the buckles!
"And now... back down!" El Rey mumbled, half to Valerie but half to himself, as he executed a sly trick he'd used once or twice! Upon backing away from Valerie, he'd hook one of his feet behind her ankle, and when yanking his leg away, look to yank her base out from underneath her, and if all had went well, send her falling down onto her ass in the corner!

Re: El Rey de Cielo vs. Valley Doll III - The Lighter Side of Things
Get up. Valerie had to keep getting up.
She repeated those words like a mantra, willing herself to stay in the fight, even as her body started to reach the point where it wanted to shut down. El Rey was already proving himself to be her hardest-hitting opponent so far. Kyo and Ryu hadn't been weaklings by any stretch of the imagination, but they relied more on technical prowess, outmaneuvering her with skill and talent while she enjoyed the strength advantage. Against El Rey, however, that was all taken away and turned on its head - every move he landed just crushed her, and in the latter stages of this match, she was getting pushed to the brink, her ability to endure genuinely tested.
Thankfully, Valerie was an extremely stubborn woman raised by extremely stubborn women. As long as she could move, she was going to fight, and she still had just enough left in the tank to make that work.
That being said, she needed to devise a plan of attack fast, as El Rey was already moving the match along, giving her a small window to recover. She saw a small chance as she was lifted up and sent charging into the corner, always a good spot for a counterattack - or, rather, it would’ve been if he hadn't had the sense to chase after her as she ran, hammering her into the turnbuckle before she could even properly prepare for the impact, much less figure out a way to escape. Valerie cried out as his bulk rammed into her, pancaking her against the pads, and she slumped against them, barely able to stand.
Not that it mattered much, since he sliced the legs out from under her a moment later. She fell, flopped down to her butt, and sat against the corner as she seethed, still hurting from the impact. But she was lucid, awake, and holding it together as best as she could, knowing an opportunity would come her way. She just had to endure until it did.

Re: El Rey de Cielo vs. Valley Doll III - The Lighter Side of Things
In some ways, El Rey probably should have expected Valerie's kickout, but like many things she had pulled off in this match, it still managed to surprise him, as it seemed the blonde woman just wouldn't stay down. She was so resilient that El Rey wasn't sure how to proceed from here, but to start things off, he'd heft her back up to her feet before once more throwing her into the corner post, following close behind as she hit the buckles, his body slamming into her only moments after she impacted the corner! His splash stuck her to the corner behind her, and as he stepped back and hooked her foot, her base was yanked out and she fell down to a hard sit on the canvas, as El Rey backed up to take a look!
With Valerie seated in the corner, he had a great many options. A cannonball to further squash her, running knees to stun her, perhaps even a crafty maneuver using the ropes... and yet, as she sat there, he noticed a distinct increase in the crowd volume. El Rey turned for a brief moment to the fans, noticing their rising fervor, and when he looked back over at Valerie, he started to put it together. The match had been so intense that he hadn't even had time to think of such things, but he was certainly known for some more crowd-favorite moves than likely most other male wrestlers, and the crowd was making it clear what they wanted!
Realistically, El Rey should just ignore them and continue to batter Valerie until she stayed down. And yet, the masked man was nothing if not receptive to the audience, and simply changing that very part of himself now... well, let's just say that it didn't take long for him to make his decision. When El Rey brought his hands behind himself and clapped them against his quite large buttcheeks, it was clear to the crowd that he had listened, and he'd slowly walk towards Valerie, getting right in front of her before spinning around!
"Sorry hermosa, but the fans have spoken... time to pucker up!" Was all the warning he'd give, and as he gripped the ropes to either side of himself, he'd suddenly swing his hips backwards and plant his thick ass directly on Valerie's pretty face! He'd fully wedge her facial features between his thick cheeks as he ground his hips side to side on her face, delivering a thorough stinkface to the seated wrestler, as the crowd went wild!
