Gold Ace vs La Donna Perfetta - Old Grow Young

To be honest, Angela wondered if she was being too hard on the poor boy. Gold Ace was green, no doubt, but the boy clearly had a good deal of heart, and the last thing she wanted to do was embarrass him on the big stage. She’d seen far too many careers get snuffed out in their infancy. One bad loss, one rough experience, and a promising prospect throws it all away and ruins what could have been a lucrative career. LAW was notorious for ruining lives like that, and the last thing she wanted to do was creat another flash in the pan.

But she had no intention of losing, either. She would be strong, but fair, pushing Gold Ace and seeing how well the young man could hang. A fair test, and one that Gold Ace didn’t balk away from, to his credit and Angela’s surprise.

She had been expecting the young man to get up. She was not expecting to come at her with such renewed vigor, leaping in the air with a spring in his step and striking her hard in the chest. It wasn’t enough to bring her down, but it did stun her, and sent her stumbling back a few steps while she regained her balance.

This time, the dropkick attack was successful, and Gold was smart enough to know that he absolutely needed to follow up, with something effective and worthwhile...and while he normally needed to build up speed to really throw his body at an opponent to do more damage, he had already been given proof that doing so wouldn't be effective against the multi year veteran.

So, he had to stay up close and personal, and inspiration quickly struck, as he thought what his mother Silver Ace would do in this situation. Kipping up to his feet again, the smaller and younger fighter closed the distance between him and his opponent, jumping upwards and coming down right in front of Angela, stomping his foot down as hard as he could on Angela's foot, a move designed to cause pain and surprise, allowing him to attempt his next attack, grabbing upwards at Angela's head and pulling it as far down as he could while jumping upwards, trying to smash his knee into the powerful womans face!

The crowd had been middling so far, believing that they were just watching another mixed squash match when the saw the drastic differences between the fighters, but interest was returning to them in a hurry as Gold Ace made a stand.

Angela was stunned, reeling, but it would only last for a moment. Gold Ace seemed to realize this, too, as he quickly moved in and press his advantage, striking just as she was coming out of her stupor. She reeled back, looking to level him with a swift haymaker, only to be interrupted by his foot hammering the instep of her foot. It didn’t hurt that much, but the shock alone was enough to throw off her game, halt the attack, and make her easy prey for the followup. Her face was pulled down into a waiting knee, and the combination sent her reeling back, fumbling to the corner, where she leaned against the ropes and tried to shake it all off.

Hm. So much for going easy on him.

That felt excellent hitting that knee on Angela. The foot stomp was nothing really, he doubted it did more than surprise her, but that second hit, that felt like a real hit, one that he could build real momentum on, but if he going to do it, he needed to keep up the pressure and keep up the attacks, as much as possible, don't give the bigger woman time time to counter, time to recover, time to breath even!

So, with that in mind, Ace went back to the previous well, using his greater speed, his only true advantage, to dash across the ring towards the ropes, bouncing off them, springing back towards his opponent in the corner with all the speed he could muster in his small body, before launching himself upwards, trying to crash his body into Angela's own with a Stinger Splash, packed with all the power his small body could muster!

There was a considerable size difference between them, a gigantic difference in the amount of damage they could deal, but that didn’t mean Angela could just shrug off everything Gold Ace did. A knee to the face was still a knee to the face, and it made for an unpleasant time, even if was delivered from someone half your size.

A good move. A solid move. Angela was impressed. A little.

That being said, while she was stunned for a moment, it was only a moment. While she didn’t blame the youngster for pushing his advantage, she was eager to show him why that was a bad idea.

As Gold Ace rushed in, going for a splash, Angela stepped out and lifted her arm to snatch him out of the air. She held him aloft for a scant second, before hurling him down to earth with authority, spiking his back into the mat with a powerful uranage. ”Sedere!”

Gold Ace was moving fast, very fast, one of his fastest speeds he'd ever done in the ring, and leapt as high as he could, fully committed to using his body as a weapon. Sure, he was small, he was light, but with enough speed and momentum behind him, he could crash into anyone, even someone bigger than him, enough to make them FEEL it, which was exactly what he planned on doing here. He beat Dizzy, and now he'd beat her mother too!

...and then she caught him...in mid-air...with one arm...

Ace had JUST enough time to squeak out, before he felt gravity change and he was HURLED down towards the mat, all the momentum he had just built up now turned completely against him as he was SLAMMED to the mat, the powerful Uranage's angle of attack causing the back of his head to SMACK against the mat with the rest of his body following, getting a pained groan from the blonde teens lips as he lay on the mat after, legs folded over his head, the crowd, the announce team, even Dizzy herself all cringing at the sheer force of Angela's slam, the ropes themselves shaking from the impact!

”Oh. Shit.”

Dizzy did cringe at what she was seeing. She knew what her mother could do, but she held back so much when they sparred that it was easy to forget how much she could utterly wreck someone close to her size. Gold Ace wasn’t heavy, but a hundred or so pounds wasn’t easy to slam with only one arm, especially when it had all that momentum going behind it. Times like this, she was so glad that her mother hadn't been into corporal punishment when she was growing up.

Gold Ace was brought down hard and laid out, giving Angela enough time to catch her breath. It hadn't been a bad effort, she could admit. Maybe a little overzealous, though, especially when they were just starting the match. Points for enthusiasm.

She rolled her shoulders and moved in, going back on the attack straightaway. Reaching down, she pushed Ace onto his chest, then tucked his head under her shoulder with a tight front facelock. She draped his arm over her shoulder, then lifted him up and forced his feet to point to the sky, holding him in a vertical suplex.

Angela let the blood rush to Ace’s head for five or so seconds, before she took a step forward, fell back, and brought him crashing down to the mat, nailing him with the powerful suplex.

Ow ow ow ow ow.

Everything hurt. Everything. All of the things. Even his toes hurt after that slam.

Ace was in a complete daze as he lay on the mat, legs folded over his head, utterly wiped the hell out from that powerful Uranage. He offered no resistance, his body practically limp as Angela flipped him over and prepared for her next move. Ace felt himself being moved, felt the tug on his body as he was lifted upwards, and assumed he was being pulled to a standing position, groaning and shaking his head to clear his vision of spots and stars...only to be utterly confused as he looked out at the world around him and noticing it was...different. W-why were the people up in the air? Why was the ceiling so far below him?

It took several seconds before the confused and still hurting Ace realized with a start...he was upside down! Angela held the lightweight fighter perfectly in the suplex position, while Ace started squirming, kicking his legs in protest and utter panic as he let out a whine, feeling the blood rushing down to his head as he struggled in vain, and Angela held him up perfectly straight, without any difficulty at all.

...and then she fell.

Ace only felt a sudden pull of gravity, the sudden increase of speed, and then BAM!, he crashed down onto the mat perfectly flat on his back, immediately arching his back and letting out a pained cry, spittle flying from the young mans lips, his head aching from the blood rushing to it, the tide having turned completely against the young rookie!

You know, times like this, Dizzy had to appreciate how excessively powerful her mother was. While she wasn’t at her peak, she still easily one of the most powerful people she had ever come across, and it was hard not to notice that whenever they sparred. She could always tell that her mother was holding back, but it was often hard to detect just how much, what she could inflict if she wanted to.

Well, Dizzy didn’t have to wonder what fighting a full power Angela Belti would be like. Gold Ace was giving her a perfect demonstration.

He was brought down hard with a resonating crash, one that made a surprising amount of noise given the size. She rolled away after the impact, then moved over, grabbed his leg, and pressed down on his chest, pinning him to the mat. The referee slid over next to them and started up the count.
