In the last few days before the match, Clara was a wreck. She upset her girlfriend. For a cause she believed was right...but she did end up driving a wedge between them for the first time since they knew each other. They had minor, pettiest of squabbles, but nothing as big as...well...something that, at least from what Clara felt, needed to be settled in the ring.
She tried to calm herself down in the last few weeks, tried to convince herself that she was right to do what she did...but even in her head, it rang so hollow. Kay was the woman who saved her from a very deadly post-match with the Baroness, and this lead her to proclaim her love for the blunette. And this is what all this lead to.
As hollow as it rang, Kay hiding that she was attacked by LAW wrestlers in the streets, and her needing to find out about it on twitter of all things, angered her. Whether Kay liked it or not, she was going to beat her tonight, show her that she could protect her...and from there, potentially target Black Widow for attacking her girlfriend in the spa...
Wearing her newest attire, and walking down to her triumphant theme song, Clara walked down onto the entrance ramp wearing a serious expression on her face. She had given plenty of interviews, letting people know why the match was happening, and had to happen, especially with footage of Black Widow's beatdown of Kay surfacing on the web. For tonight, her entrance was more subdued than usual. No happy claps with fans, no smile on her face. She simply entered the ring with little bravado. Crowd seemed to understand why, despite it being a PPV, Clara's entrance was actually less epic than usual.
The stakes for her, the safety of her girlfriend, were already big enough.
She went to the corner, and proceeded to stretch as she awaited Kay's arrival.
