The woman who calls herself the King wore a nervous smile as she stood backstage awaiting her LAW debut. While it excited her to have finally entered the big leagues after two years of knocking around losers back home she was also nervous at having to go to a whole new country to compete, leaving behind her home and all her fans. Would the LAW fanbase accept the Brit and all her eccentricities, or would she fail to catch their intention and be rejected? While Bella knew herself to be the best she was aware that not everyone saw her that way, so it was important that she uses this match to prove herself to the LAW fans.
At the very least LAW seemed to recognise how important it was that this match be a good one since they deemed fit to give her a good opponent for her debut; Melody Serperior. Bella found it appropriate that they celebrated the new arrival of the King with a woman who has been a member of LAW since the beginning. Not only that but apparently she was also a striker like Bella, which was perfect since it gave her a chance to prove that she was one of the top strikers in LAW. Yes, as far as Bella was concerned this was a perfect debut for her! Of course this was assuming that everything went her way and she dominated Melody, but in Bella's mind there was no way she wouldn't! It was simply impossible!
That's why despite her worries she was able to wipe the nervousness from her face, grinning from ear to ear as she readied herself to appear before LAW for the first time! Once her entrance theme hit Bella would walk out from the Gorilla Position, stopping at the top of the ramp to give the audience a chance to lay eyes on her for the first time, throwing her arms out and puffing out her chest. Based on the cheers that followed it seemed as if they liked what they saw, even if it was just out of approval for the redhead's body and good looks.
After that she would make her way to the ring, walking down the ramp like she was walking down a catwalk, exuding confidence with each step as she made her way down slowly and deliberately. As she got to ringside she would pick out a ring assistant and exchange a few words before sending them off on some task while Bella climbed into the ring. For a few moments she would make a show of parading around the ring and showing off her buxom body before the ring assistant returned with a microphone, handing it off to Bella who would do a quick sound-check before bringing it up to her lips.
As she spoke the redhead's voice would have a haughty tone to it, her words brimming with the arrogance of one you would expect from someone who named herself a monarch "Greetings LAW! As the announcer no doubt told you I am Bella King, but you will refer to me as 'The King'! To those of you who are ignorant to my greatness that might seem presumptuous or arrogant, but I assure you that it is a factual assessment of my abilities. Don't just take me at my word however, I fully intend to prove it to you over the course of my next few matches! Soon not only you viewers, but all the men and women of LAW will come to accept me as your king!"
As entertaining as Bella's speech was in a befuddling way it was not appreciated backstage, as the redhead purposefully extended her speech so that it ate into the time intended for Melody's entrance. With a smirk on her face Bella would gesture towards the opening ramp "But I cannot prove anything without an opponent to dominate and make an example of, so without further ado I'd like to introduce my opponent for the night; Melody Serperior!" With that she would lower the microphone, striking a self satisfied smile at the way she took charge of things, though she would likely be punished for this later. But that didn't matter now, in this moment all Bella cared about was the delayed arrival of her opponent.
