Sally rose to her feet about as quickly as she could manage at this point in the match, panting as she reached a standing position just in time for her lightweight foe to rush towards her. The blonde tried to hop to the side on pure instinct, but started her movement too late and was caught in the spear.

" Urrgh! " Sally yelped out as Yuki's body smacked into her own with all the speed she had gathered, that impact itself was rather painful. The slight spin that followed and the collision with the canvas though was worse, the Icon disoriented for a short moment before crashing harshly into the canvas, nailed into the mat with that spear.

" Gguuhh... " Sally grumbled quietly, as her hands fell to the canvas and she started to pant. The spear had really taken a toll, and at this point in the match it felt like every time Sally went down it was becoming way harder to get up, her body desired more and more to embrace rest and recovery, and it was getting harder and harder to will herself to fight those cardinal impulses to just give in.

Sally was left in her current position, too tired currently to try to crawl away, and too groggy too. The blonde felt a little cold, as she was very notable sweaty now.

Yuki knew she was tired. She was burning through her reserves of energy, and the pain in her back was still lingering. But as she let the adrenaline take her over, she was able to put those things out of her mind. All she saw was the match, and the opponent in front of her - and she needed to do her best to prevail! Sally was proving to be a tricky foe to put down, but that would just bring out Yuki's motivation to push things one step further and to give it her all. If that was what it would take, so be it!

Throwing her body straight toward Sally as she took off from the mat, Yuki went off like a missile, colliding with the blonde and sending her down with a thud. As Yuki came down on top of her, she took a moment to collect herself, panting for breath. But she knew she couldn't stop there. If Sally had, thus far, been so difficult to keep under control for long, Yuki needed to keep the pressure on her; any moment she wasted could be one Sally could turn on her. She came crawling forward to sit down on Sally's stomach, leaning over her to throw some punches down into her face!

After being smacked down into the canvas was spent for a moment, hands resting at her side as she looked up at Sally who seemed to be tired too. Luckily for the blonde midweight this was not a pin, so she could rest for a moment.

As Yuki crawled up to her stomach and took a seat, Sally saw that as the queue to move into action, exhaling as she lifted her arms, they felt rather heavy. When Yuki threw those punches the first one knocked Sally right on the nose, earning a famine cry. That left Sally a little loopy, but she knew she couldn't just lay back, and so she barely managed to move her head to avoid the second punch, buying her a moment to come up with a more permanent solution.

Sally would then do the best thing that she could think of, shifting her arms in front of her face to create a block, truth be told it was a little scary now to have the energy to counter in a different way, but just being able to stop Yuki from knocking her out with punches in a rather brutal fashion was enough of a win for now.

Sally was a little slow, so while she did intend to move her block to her chest if that area was targeted, she'd likely let a few punches in whenever Yuki switched targets due to being sluggish. Ultimately Sally hoped to at least tire Yuki out enough through blocking her strikes to make Yuki abandon her idea of punching her lights out.

Yuki threw herself into the motions, her punches flying left and right as she battered Sally's head. Her muscles felt heavy, and as she swung her arms it was as though they dangled from her shoulders like lead weights. With every breath, she panted for air. But Yuki wasn't going to let that slow her down. She was still here to prove herself, she reminded herself. And that determination would fuel her even if nothing else would.

Gritting her teeth as she stared down at her opponent, Yuki kept her attention focused on her punches. She didn't even care that her fist had slipped by Sally as she threw her second strike - she was already setting herself up for the next one. Even when Sally assumed a guard, Yuki let her fists bounce off the blonde's forearms a few times. She didn't care if she'd miss a few, as long as she had some effect over her foe.

But it would soon become clear that Yuki's efforts of getting Sally to break her guard were futile; the middleweight was too entrenched in her stance, no matter how many times Yuki tried to punch at it. And with Yuki's stamina dwindling as it were, she realized she was only wasting breath. As another one of her punches was deflected harmlessly, Yuki was forced to stop to take a breath. Panting, she leaned over Sally, her palms flat against the canvas as she tried to collect herself.

Sally was struggling to block every punch at first, grumbling and whinning as the side of her head was hit or the block was bounced back into her skull. Ultimately though the blonde prevented a knock out, and persisted with her block through will power, even if her arms were stinging and pulsating from pain from all the damage they took.

Eventually Sally stopped punching, and Sally kept her brick up for a couple of moments, till her opponent leaned forward and put her hands to the canvas, seemingly tired. The blonde wasn't in much shape to fight right now, but she would still try to capitalise on the moment, suddenly shooting her arms to grab at Yuki's shoulders, and trying to sit up and push with what strength her battered arms could manage, trying to thrust Yuki backwards with the momentum of the push and her sitting up.

Sally was panting for air too, and felt slightly light headed by this point, she was nearly getting dizzy... that relentless punching combo had really taken a toll on her.

The Icon was fully invested in this battle of wills though, and she had been out of breath and dizzy so much today that she was able to just accept it as her passive state.

On shaky arms Sally would push up from the canvas, straightening her legs out and then stumbling backwards as she finally stood up, bumping into the ropes and hooking her fingers round them by pure instinct to keep herself up. Sally took deep breaths, listened to the general buzz of the crowd and observed her opponent, trying to shake the cobwebs off.

It was a valiant effort on Yuki's part, and she had fought as hard as she could to keep the pressure on Sally and to deal as much damage as she could. But the blonde was frustratingly resilient, and so too was the defensive position she had adopted. Every punch Yuki threw came at the cost of her own stamina, and eventually it became clear she couldn't keep up with this forever. She leaned over Sally, panting for breath - and that was exactly when her opponent struck.

Sally grabbed Yuki by the shoulders, pushing her backward with the same motion with which she herself rose. Her eyes went wide and she let out a tired gasp. Yuki wasn't surprised by this point that Sally still had some fight in her, but she could only imagine what she might try next. She fell back onto her knees, watching as Sally straightened herself from the canvas. She knew that the next round as on, and she too would have to rise to the challenge.

Sucking in a breath, Yuki pushed herself back up. She leaned forward on bent knees, rubbing at her legs as she panted for breath, but soon she had straightened her back, shooting a glare over at Sally. She was quick to charge back in toward her, her arm outstretched as she prepared to land a clothesline!

Sally was somewhat loopy against the ropes as she watched Yuki rising too, with a sigh the blonde stumbled forward a little, trying to leave herself less restricted space wise. The resilient lightweight was first to act, rushing towards the self proclaimed Icon, Sally wasn't In the best shape, but she also was in the climax of the match and so was a little sharper than her groggy state would suggest.

The blonde would barely manage to duck under the clothesline, in a limbo esque motion, bending her back enough and crouching a little so that it went overhead. Sally then sharply turned to face where Yuki was now, and lumbered forward, extending her arms out as she collided into Yuki's back, trying to shove on Yuki's back to send her into a collision with the nearby corner.

If that worked then Sally would run after Yuki after she turned to face her while leaning in the corner. Sally would then try to run forward and leap into the air as she got close, one leg landing on the bottom rope while she simultaneously raised her other leg to try to drive her knee up into Yuki's head.

Yuki's head was down and her arm raised as she came charging toward Sally. The blonde was in her sights, and Yuki was on a collision course, ready to throw her momentum into her strike. She was focused with all her intent on landing a hit - which meant that when her opponent got out of the way instead, she was left blindsided!

Sally ducked down, leaving Yuki's arm to pass overhead. She skidded to a stop, slowing her stride just shy of where Sally was. But before she could react to anything, she received a shove from behind, as Sally carried her the rest of the way forward! Though Yuki was able to use the momentum to turn herself around, she had little time to brace herself. Her back collided with the turnbuckles, leaving her shuddering as she went still. Her legs wobbling beneath her, Yuki was left standing in the corner, trying to catch her breath and ground herself.

But once that happened, Yuki realized that when she was in the corner, she had the ropes to either side of her. They were there to ground her, but they would also give her some leverage, offering a platform she could hoist herself up on in order to set up one area where she truly shined - in her fast-paced, high-flying offense! She sucked in a breath, hopping up to rest on the middle ropes. All the same, she would soon see that Sally was closing in on her, affording her with no time to plan out the sort of move she would hope for! Yuki was going to need to buy herself some time. But she could interrupt Sally where she stood. Just as the blonde was coming close, she jumped into the air - and it was then that Yuki would ring out with a kick, hoping to knock her back down!

Sally watched as Yuki slammed into the corner, rushing after pretty quickly in her eagerness to close things out. The blonde thought that she was quick enough to get a big hit off on Yuki, so her first reaction was one of shock more than pain as her hop onto the bottom buckle was intercepted by Yuki thrusting her leg forward into Sally's stomach, pushing her back.

" Ugh! " Sally groaned out as she was thrown off balance in her descent, falling In such a way that she fell onto her butt. The blonde got up to her feet as quickly as she could, stumbling backwards In the process and holding her pained chest. The midweight could feel her lungs burning and her body sweating as she was really pushing past pain and her limits.

Sally was still focused on Yuki, she figured that she would leap from the corner, but wasn't sure what to expect specifically or if she still had the strength to counter. The blonde accepted that this was the conclusive moment of the match, trying to simply regain her balance and move her arms forward from her chest in preparation.

This was it. While the crowd was still cheering for Yuki's counter of her opponent's charge, the dark-haired girl tuned out the background noise enough to focus. With slow, steady breaths, she looked down at where Sally had fallen back. Now her advances had been halted in their tracks, and with her staggered movements, Yuki could tell she was reaching the limits of her stamina. That wasn't to say that Yuki wasn't feeling the pressure herself, of course; she winced as she stretched, putting more strain on her aching back. But Sally's quick reflexes were slowing down, and Yuki had the chance to strike. Not just that, but she was up on the ropes, giving her the chance to launch her attack from the very place she found herself arming most of her heaviest-hitting moves.

This was it. She knew what she had to do.

As she sucked in a breath, Yuki climbed higher, putting one foot onto the top rope and then the other. She lifted herself to the top of the turnbuckle - and then, as she cried out with a battle cry, Yuki threw herself down toward Sally, her fists pulled back behind her as she prepared to bring down a double axe handle onto her foe!
