As viewers tuned into LAW's latest pay-per-view event, they would be greeted by a panning shot of an idyllic beach. The sun was shining, the waves lapped at the shores, and as the camera drew lower to the ground, they would soon see a ring built out on the open sand, with a crowd of cheering fans gathered around it. Not only was this a hot vacation getaway, it was also booked for the site of LAW's next tournament - one that was sure to draw quite a crowd with the excitement it promised.
It was at this moment that one woman took her place in the ring - former idol and current LAW ring announcer Misa Otomura. Greeting the crowds with a smile and a wave, she held a microphone to her mouth to officially begin the festivities.
"Of course, it's not just bragging rights they're fighting over - we're holding a tournament for your viewing pleasure, and whoever can emerge the last woman undefeated will come home with this trophy to prove it!"
After gesturing to the side of the ring, where the trophy was placed on a table, Misa picked her microphone back up, addressing the crowd once again.
"But enough about that! I know what you folks are really here for...and it's about time we got on with the show!~ So without further ado, let's announce our brackets!"
With that, Misa stepped down from the ring. But the crowd was cheering even louder, awaiting what the first match of the tournament would bring!
