Panther Risako vs Marissa Wilture - Submission Match

The lariat was strong even from a weakened Marissa - with little momentum behind it, it would have sent Panther through the air in a backwards rotation, before hitting the canvas with the victorious Brit standing high over her.

Had it hit.

Instead, Marissa found nothing but air as she cut into the space Panther no longer occupied. The former angel had little interest in simply ducking and diving before allowing Marissa to follow-up on her mistake; she herself opted to kick off after reeling under Marissa's extended arm, to sprint towards the ropes to Marissa's back.

By the time Marissa began to turn, it was already too late.

With a massive thud only precursed by Panther letting loose a war cry, Marissa's head was struck. Loosing all strength in her legs, Marissa naturally hit the deck hard. Her arms barely served to brace her, with her torso mostly leading the charge unprotected. For the most part, the Brit was lifeless as she lay there with a slur - her head to the side, to showcase to the audience before her an utterly exhausted look.

Knocking Marissa down with a clothesline to her back, Risako could see the state her opponent was in, and she knew that this was an opportunity that she needed to seize in order to win the match. While her opponent was on the mat, belly first, Risako would move herself next to her and grab her by her head as she would yank it back while getting her arms under her chin. At the same time, Risako would also trap Marissa's closest arm between her legs, putting her into a crossface submission hold.

Seeing the state Marissa was in, Risako doubted she would be able to break free from the hold. She would keep the crossface submission hold, targeting her opponent's head and arm, hoping to get a submission out of it.

Locked in yet again, Marissa damn near screamed the roof down. Panther was absolutely brutal with her choice of submissions - moving from one to the other, all without ever stopping to even take a breather. The moment Marissa had regained control, she had it turned upon her yet again with a submission the Brit simply wasn't practised against. Now, was no different.

Wrenched out with her head horrifically bent, Marissa's eyes shut tight as she vastly weakened. Her free hand was to that grip, but it bared her no favours as her single weakened hand pawed at a dual handed, tightly held grip. All she could do was mewl and moan, as the bend continued with her moans becoming rapidly quieter as the seconds passed.

Back in Wrestle Angels, the crossface wasn't her preferred submission hold, as it was more like Toshimi Minami's specialty, but for Risako, the crossface was a good choice for her to put Marissa through as she would keep her in the hold, hoping to gain a submission out of her. She could feel Marissa weakening from the hold, and she smiled, maintaining the hold, hoping that she could maintain it long enough until her opponent's endurance ran out.

"How about it? Want to submit now?"

Risako asked Marissa as she would apply more strength into the crossface. Even the referee was checking on Marissa to see whether she was submitting or not. Considering that this was a submission match, one had to make the other to submit in order to win.

It may have not been Panther's go-to, but to Marissa right now it might as well have been her finishing hold. The spikey haired Brit was done, and even in her agonised state she realised it. All the strength she had to her now was simply used to prolong the hold, not out of masochism, but in an attempt to look at least somewhat defiant.

As defiant as one could look when dominantly beaten, at least.

"I...I..." Marissa tried to muster the words, but neither her body nor Panther for that matter would allow her to. Not as Panther wrenched all the harder, near enough threatening to fuse the teeth in Marissa's mouth with how hard they were being pressed together.

In favour of trying to find a weak point in Risako's hold that evidently was never going to come, Marissa did the obvious. Lowering both hands from the former angels grip, Marissa held the fabric of the mat for a good few seconds, before finally...

She tapped out.

Risako waited for the submission, worrying that she might slip anytime soon. Fortunately for her, Marissa finally found reason as she finally tapped out, submitting to her. Sighing in relief, Risako immediately released Marissa from the crossface, letting go of her face and arm as she would push herself back up onto her feet.

Announced as the winner, Risako had her arm lifted by the referee, and she held her head high as she won against Marissa. It sure felt good to win a match, and before she left the ring, she bowed to Marissa and said, "Thanks for the match." With her music playing, Risako made her exit, raising her arms in triumph as she managed to a match in this PPV event.

There was no reaction from Marissa as her defeat was cemented - the bell ringing near enough in her ears only made her open her eyes for but a moment, before shutting them again. With Risako releasing near enough instantly, all Marissa wanted to do was lay against the canvas. With her eyes soon open if askew, the referee only gave the briefest of checks as to her state before Marissa somewhat waved her off. Evidently, this was not a defeat she'd be over any time soon.
