Marissa had some strength on the ground, but she was no mat wrestler. Not past the basics, anyways.

When Risako opted to look for a dominant ground posture equipped with headlock, there was little Marissa could do against her, except of course struggle in the simplest and most basic of ways. Pushing every which way that Panther wasn't, Marissa had absolutely no say in the way her body was being ragdolled. Only feral grunts would be heard from the spikey haired Brit, whom tried to extend her arms far out to each side in an effort to sprawl.

Risako managed to keep Marissa grounded after bringing her down, making use of her skill in mat wrestling. From there, she would begin working on Marissa's head, wrenching at her head in order to weaken her. But she also knew that solely doing this wouldn't be interesting for the audience, so after keeping both herself and Marissa down on the mat for a while, Risako would slowly rise back up while still having her arm wrapped around her opponent's head in the side headlock, still keeping the wrench going.

Marissa's arms flopped all the while - her body was well and truly pinned beneath Panther as she writhed about, with any attempt at breaking free countered with superior wrestling skills on the Angel's side of things. Marissa would have no doubt have faired better on her feet, but with Panther's arm so tight around her head as she was pulled up, she could do nothing but play to her opponents beat!

All the whilst her cheek would press against Panther's torso, with hot, hoarse breaths escaping the Brit. Her arm behind Panther's back would hold onto it as if it helped her predicament, whilst her other arm came to try and brush some of her spikey locks out of her gaze. The match had just begun, and already her foe was forcing her to break into quite a fierce sweat!

The fact that this was at a pay per view of all things only worsened the Brit's predicament. Those tuning in to bare witness to a special event would see nought but perhaps a overzealous Brit be womanhandled, by a foe that seemingly outclassed her!

Risako had risen back up onto her feet, bringing Marissa with her as she held her in the side headlock, wrenching at her head and keeping her trapped there. It was just a simple grappling move, but as someone who had been in this industry before she even reached the age of eighteen, Risako seemed to have mastery over such simple moves.

Now that she was on her feet, Risako was considering her next move. She knew that she was here not only to win this match, but also to entertain the crowd. So, she would yank at Marissa's head a little before she attempted her next move, which was a side headlock takeover, where she would try to flip Marissa over and sending her down onto the mat while still securing her hold around her head.

If she was successful, Risako would keep wrenching at Marissa's head, making sure to give everyone a show that they would greatly enjoyed despite the simplicity of her moves. "How about tapping out now?" Risako asked cheekily while keeping the pressure going. Of course, she would expect more from Marissa due to this being the only start of the match.

Marissa's fury was growing insanely so, given how early on in the match she'd been caught. And not just caught, out right trapped, in perhaps the simplest hold in wrestling. One that Risako was having fun using to its full effect all the same.

Grunting and snarling, her nostrils flared as her cheeks grew even more so the the colour of strawberries. Attempts to shove at Risako's sides were increasingly ineffective, and as the seconds passed, even fewer in their number. Marissa looked to be heavily sagging, with her eyes shutting a moment from the wrenching upon her head. Though Risako's next motion sure woke her up, as Marissa was once more taken to the ground.

Snarling upon impact, the collision with the canvas seemed to hit all of the Brit's nerves at once. Not because of the impact, no.

But because of the fact that Risako was still upon her head.

Flat to her back and now facing the side of her considerably more skilled foe, Marissa threw fists every which way. Head, torso, even stomach if she could reach. She evidently had little clue on how to wrestle her way out of the hold, and every time Risako wrenched her skull only highlighted the fact. What better way she figured to try and escape, than to beat her way out.

Sending Marissa down onto the mat with the side headlock takeover, Risako continued wrenching her head, putting more pressure on her with the simple move. It seemed that Marissa wasn't happy with this situation, so she decided to hit Risako with punches, throwing fists everywhere. Some of them managed to hit their marks, and Risako grunted, affected by those punches.

"Ghh!! Nghh!! Nhhh!! Ughhh!!"

Seeing that if she continued doing this, her opponent would keep peppering her with those punches. When she began accumulating damage from those punches, Risako decided to finally relinquish the hold, releasing Marissa from the side headlock before she rolled over over onto her knees, groaning a little as she brought her hand onto her aching side.

"Oww..." She mouthed out as she would maintain her eyes on Marissa. At the same time, she would rise back up onto her feet.

Marissa had violently forced herself free, but the crowd momentum had very much shifted against her. Panther had used skill and tactility to render the Brit under her control. Marissa on the other hand, had to use unsightly pummelling to force herself free.

The difference in skill seemed vastly apparent.

Though Marissa herself had little time to snarl about how she had gotten free. She had found said freedom all the same. And now, it was time to make Panther ache just as much as her cheeks were!

Pushing onto all fours all at once, despite the desire by her frame to rest and draw breath, Marissa looked to tackle into Panther whilst the angel herself was mid-rise. She didn't want to give this foe chance to have stable footing ever again!

Arms tucking for a grip on her foes thighs as she pressed in, Marissa's confidence put her hopes not only on taking Panther down to the canvas, but being atop of her in a ground and pound position. One she'd use as the name implied, with her right hand clenched and already rearing up then down, for a hammer fist straight to Panther's head!

Risako had no other choice but to release Marissa from the hold due to her taking punch after punch from her. As she rose back up on her knees and started to recover, she was in no position to brace herself for anything from her opponent, who decided to take this opportunity to pounce towards her, bringing her down onto the mat. "Aahh!!!" Risako yelped when she was taken down, with Marissa on top of her.

After that, Marissa attempted to target Risako's head now that she was in a ground and pound position. Knowing that she was in a precarious position, Risako would try to bring up her arms to protect herself against her opponent's strikes while attempting to buck Marissa's body off of her. She knew that she might end up being weakened if she allowed her opponent to proceed with her moves.

Panther was the chisel and Marissa was the hammer, with the latter looking to pound away at the former angel for having the audacity to show her up so easily. Shoving fist after fist into her downed foe might have worked with the initial few strikes, but Marissa's punches quickly lost momentum and effectiveness what with Panther's strong guard. An attempt to rear up all the more to add power and break through said guard turned to be in vain, as at that moment Risako bucked her off as if she were a unruly cowgirl!

Hitting the deck with frustration hitting her, Marissa banged the canvas once with each fist before forcing herself to a rise. Though at the pace she went, and with zero intention to actually charge back in, Panther would be given chance to rise as well. For the Brit hoped to fire off again in a standing format, to show the audience that Risako's moment of absolute control was a fluke!

"Get up...GET UP...!"

Protecting herself from the punches that Marissa was raining on her, Risako managed to get Marissa off of her, and she would take this opportunity to get herself back up, huffing slightly. The punches did hurt her a little, but she wasn't going to let it slow her down as she would return back to her feet, ready to clash with her opponent once more.

Once she was on her feet, Risako would look at her opponent to see if she was also on her feet. Hopping on the balls of her feet a little, she would then get herself into a stance, readying herself for her second clash with Marissa. She would then surge forth, looking to lock up with the other woman once more, but this time, she would focus on trying to grab one of her arms so that she could twist it into a wrist lock.
