Several LAW Wrestlers Set to Appear in New Sitcom

The world of television is nothing new to the world of LAW. Wrestlers like Clara Gaster, Mindy Midnight, and Cyber Widow have all appeared on some popular shows in the past.

That list of names is about to be expanded as LAW Heavyweight Champion Astrid Ostberg and one-half of The Superstars Molly Forster are about to hit screens all over the world.

The newest sitcom, House of 9, is about nine flatmates sharing an expensive New York presidential suite and adjusting to the bustling world of The Big Apple. Ostberg and Forster have secured main acting roles in the primary cast while a few other LAW wrestlers will serve in recurring roles.

“It’s always been important to me to represent my title and what it means to be a champion around the world,” Ostberg said. “Now, I’m going to be making the jump to acting. I have to admit this is new to me, but I’ve never been one to back down from a challenge. I hope everyone will come out to cheer me on all the same.”

“It’s crazy to think I’m going places! First, a new tag team, a new gimmick, taking on the tag team champs, doing promotional spots….and now, I’ve got a TV role to look forward to! I never expected to be this famous within the span of a year,” Forster said.

Forster’s girlfriend and tag team partner, Harmonia Edelstein, will be taking up a recurring role on the show as well as serving as Forster’s character’s love interest.

“I am excited to finally work on my first television role. Being together with my girlfriend, Molly Forster, makes this deal all the sweeter,” Edelstein said.

Some LAW wrestlers have given their support to the cast and wished them luck on filming the show. Some notable names are “T.K.” Tina Kelley and fellow LAW Magazine writer, Gil.

“I feel like you’ve never seen a female wrestler get this opportunity, ya know? Astrid and Molly are putting their feet through that door and it excites me. I know they’ll work on a grand performance to knock the rest of that door down!” Kelley said.

"It sounds like fun to step into a new scene like this. I'm sure you all will knock it out of the park! Just a word of advice, but don't ever talk to New Yorkers about pizza. They’ll never stop telling you how great their’s is and how everyone else's can't compete. Also, beware and don't touch living statues! Best of luck to you all!" Gil said.

Other LAW Wrestlers set to have smaller or recurring roles on the show are Black Tornado, Danielle DeGardin, “Amazon” Alania Sanders-Haines, Raquel Masters, Chelsea Forster, LAWLess Champion Raina Jaegar, and LAW World Tag Team Champions Tracy Canon and Aurora Estrella. Filming is set for next year in the winter and the show is expected to have a spring release on the TBS Network as well as Hulu and Paramount+.
