The following internal company-wide email has been leaked/confirmed by several sources at LAW. The ramifications of this news may very well change the landscape of the world's premiere wrestling promotion!

Effective immediately, the LAW Middleweight Championship is vacated. The Middleweight Title will be awarded to a middleweight wrestler among the winner at LAW Apex.

This decision has been rendered due to the board's long-standing dissatisfaction with both former champion Lillian Byrne, and the overwhelming majority of her challengers. The numbers and metrics simply weren't in their favor. So regrettably, this is what's best for business.

I hope to see strong candidates for the next champion and for future top contenders come out of Apex. The middleweight division is the biggest and most diverse division we have at LAW. Here's to hoping that the division is shown off at the highest level of competition and skill that we continue to put on all around the world here at our great company.

Out of Character Note: As admin of LAW, I take full responsibility for coming to the decision to vacate the title from @ADarlingDucky's Lillian Byrne.
While I do not come to this decision lightly, I do stand by it, citing my own rules covering stagnation and inactivity/limited activity as my basis for my decision. Any title defenses that were happening in private threads have now been made public.

In situations like this, it is very easy for baseless rumors to surface and I very much dislike drama. If you have any questions or thoughts on this event, I ask that you please either voice them to me directly or express your opinion in a tactful and thoughtful manner without stirring the pot or trying to make anyone feel bad. Please do not bombard Ducky with inquiries.
